This was written MOST gorgeously! I\'ve never read any other fic that, while definitely being a heart-racer, set down the characters so well! I love the way it is more about the emotions they are going through, rather than the act itself........ Not to mention that I\'ve never seen another fic where lyrics are appropriately used.... exquisitely, wonderfully, awesomely well done!!!

i love this story! the colonel and hawkeye are one of my favorite pairings in fma. and the lyrics to \"toy soldiers\" interspersed throughout the story really impact the message you\'re trying to get across. great song choice. i just wish this wasn\'t a one-shot!!!

I just wanted to tell you that this fic almost made me cry! (And not only because it happens after Hughes dies *sob*). It was wonderfully well written. Your word flow was very nice. The song lines worked very well where you put them. Honestly, as it went along, I wasn\'t reading it for the sex. Mostly, I wanted to find something and then read something that was Riza/Roy, because Ed/Roy makes me gag and shiver *cold chill*. Thank you so much for such a beautiful story!

This is the most beautiful Fullmetal Alchemist fanfic I have ever read. I haven\'t seen ep. 25 yet, but when I do, I will come back and read this story. It will probably mean a lot more to me. Keep writing. We need more poignant, mature fanfics on this website. And if it\'s a songfic, even better. It gets the emotion across so much better.

wow......I was listening to TOY SOLDIERS while I read this...I love that song, and I think you wrote the perfect fic to go with it....simply amazing...and yeah, I noticed the line. Wonderful job.
