Kanzaki: You’ve finally finished this one?
Rim: Yep, and over the course of the last week in the year, I will be typing up the last three chapters and posting them for all the people who have waited patiently for it. So, here you guys go, the first of the three part ending. A little present from me to my readers.

“Sarutobi,” Silba murmured as she stared on while her brother fed the halfway conscious, battered bluenette laying in bed. The young butler stopped what he was doing to turn his head towards the maid who clenched the bundle of sheets in her grasp, to her chest. Her face held worry and apprehension that only could mean one of two things.
“Silba, what’s wrong?” Sarutobi remarked, turning to her and putting down the spoon in his hand.
“Master Kai has returned,” Silba informed softly.
“Does he wish to speak to me?” Sarutobi questioned.
Kai was going to make certain that he wasn’t going to stand in his way. Sarutobi already knew that much, and he was prepared for it to happen. It was only a matter of time, if not now, then soon enough. He just hoped that if it were to happen, he had enough time to get Tyson to safety.
“How amusing,” the voice from the doorway of the room replied. Sarutobi and Silba turned around, finding Kai leaning against the doorframe, his crimson eyes staring at Tyson.
“Master Kai?” Sarutobi said, his voice remarkably even and cool contrasted to the apprehension eating him away inside. He wondered if Kai had a feeling what was going on or if he was bluffing to see what Sarutobi’s reaction would be. Sitting in silence awaiting his employer to speak, a long moment of silence passed between them until Kai decided to speak.
“Nothing Sarutobi,” Kai said, a slow smile pulling at the corners of his mouth. This of course scared Sarutobi. He didn’t know what was on his master’s mind, let alone what Kai planned to do. It was the type of smile that was unpredictable and slightly devious. “Make sure that he doesn’t gain a dependency, Sarutobi.”
“I would never give him a dependency to the medicine, Master Kai,” Sarutobi said firmly, offended that the man would even insist that he would do something of the nature. “I am not that irresponsible, sir.”
“I wasn’t talking about the medicine, Sarutobi,” Kai said, the smile lifting even higher than its previous position. The look of a beast toying with its prey. Sarutobi had to wonder if Kai was toying with him or was he really trying to catch him in a snare. Either one of those scenarios were dangerous to come to light now.
“What did you mean…Master Kai?” Sarutobi said, swallowing the lump in his throat that was forming. He was trying to remain calm and cool his apprehension causing beads of cold sweat to trickle down the back of his neck, but it wasn’t an easy task under the fierce stare.
“I meant don’t let him get a dependency to you,” Kai smiled before pushing himself from the doorframe and exit the room. When Silba was certain the man was gone, she turned her eyes to her brother fearfully.
“Sarutobi, he knows,” Silba voiced.
“He would have took action already if he knew, calm down, and let’s not blow our cover,” Sarutobi said softly.
“You saw the look he just had, he knows, Sarutobi,” Silba insisted. “He’s going to kill you. You have to watch yourself. Now isn’t the time to act.”
“If I don’t act now, he’s going to kill me before I set my plan into action. He doesn’t know Silba, please trust me,” Sarutobi whispered.
He caught Silba’s gaze with his own, forcing her to nod in defeat. A soft smile crossed his lips, knowing she was only thinking about his safety, but he could not think about his own safety when the young man who has lived in fear of Kai was in so much more danger.
“Please be careful Sarutobi, you have no way of knowing if Kai got information from the only other person besides me that knows about your plan,” Silba replied.
“I don’t believe Tala would do something like that,” Sarutobi shook his head. “Tala wishes to help Tyson. Trust and believe in me, everything will be fine, Silba.”
“I hope you’re right brother,” Silba sighed.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Tala tried to keep his eyes open as he felt himself slump over to the side while attempting to watch some horribly slow paced movie that Ian and Spencer found on TV thirty minutes ago and forced him to watch with them for god only knows what reason.
Stifling another yawn as he forced his eyes back open to stare at the screen, his mind wondered who in their right mind produced and directed such an unholy movie that was not only boring, but pointless to the extent Tala would have watched grass grow just for something else to do.
Doing his best to suppress yet another yawn, his mind wandered away from just how horrible a movie he was forced to sit through and endure to thinking about a certain blue haired angel he wanted to hurry up and save. So far, it was three days since speaking with Sarutobi, the current butler of the Hiwatari estate.
The young man had come to Tala in hopes of getting help to free Tyson from his abusive relationship with Kai, triggered by the death of his grandfather who abused him throughout his childhood and teenage years.
From what Tala knew, it was only a matter of time before Kai would hit Tyson too many times or not stop hitting him, until Tyson ended up dead in a body bag. Before things turned to that, Sarutobi came to Tala with a plan to smuggle Tyson out of the Hiwatari estate and into Tala’s custody before Sarutobi turned Kai in for his crimes.
“Care to share what’s on your mind?” Bryan flopped down beside Tala on the couch, looking at the screen for a long second before raising his brow. “Do I want to question what the hell they have you watching?”
“Look away, you’ll fall asleep if you stare at it too long,” Tala warned. “But for some reason Ian and Spencer are engrossed in it. Makes no sense to me, but complaining does no good with those two.”
“I’m definitely not going to argue with that,” Bryan shook his head, turning his eyes back to Tala. “So?”
“Hm…” Tala frowned.
“I see, so you must be thinking about him,” Bryan smiled, knowing that he didn’t need to say Tyson’s name for his friend to know who he was talking about. Lowering his tone, Bryan continued what he was going to say. “So, have you heard from the butler yet?”
“Not yet. I’m thinking that he’ll wait another day before contacting me on updates with his plan,” Tala said softly.
“You don’t seem as excited or anxious as I would have thought about this,” Bryan voiced. “What’s on your mind about this?” Tala tilted his head to the side, staring at the male on his right side of the couch.
“In truth, Kai,” Tala said honestly. “He’s not going to give up on finding Tyson as long as Tyson’s somewhere around here alive and breathing. We both know how pretty damn relentless he can be about things. Not to mention he could easily harm everyone in his household to find out where Tyson is. I don’t want innocent people getting involved in this matter.”
“You have to realize something Tala,” Bryan said in return. “They are already involved in this whether we like it or not. Those who live in that place know Kai’s horrible little secret, and even if we don’t remove Tyson, eventually they will become suspicious to Kai in his mindset, and he will have them killed. Along with Tyson, is that something you want to happen?”
“No…” Tala shook his head, sitting up a little bit straighter.
“Those that work there know the risk in staying around, and in leaving. There’s no loophole for them to back out of. Kai will have them killed they try to leave, Kai will kill them all eventually when he gets paranoid enough. The only thing we can do is snatch Tyson out of there and try to get Kai out of there before he decides that he wants to go on a mass murder,” Bryan advised.
“This will work itself out…won’t it Bryan?” Tala questioned.
“I can’t say that it’s going to clean itself up nicely, but if things work in our favor, we will be able to stop him from harming others that follow,” Bryan countered.
“I really hope so,” Tala commented, running a hand through his hair.

“Sarutobi,” Tyson murmured, feeling around the bed for the butler’s hand.
For the last few days the young butler was constantly at his bedside no matter what time of day it was. Tyson had become use to the peaceful presence by his side, it gave him a sense that maybe Kai was feeling guilty about the extent for which he beat him. There was no other reason Kai would allow Sarutobi to be by his bedside for so long.
“Sarutobi…?”
A sudden terrifying thought swept through Tyson when he realized that the butler was not within the room. Fighting back the panic at the possibility of Kai growing tired of the butler and killing him, Tyson tried to rationalize the other possibilities for Sarutobi’s absence. However he wasn’t someone who had many optimistic thoughts anymore. After all, Kai would have no problem replacing the young man with a new butler who would turn a blind eye on the situation out of fear.
“Master Tyson, it’s all right. Sarutobi has just stepped out to run an errand,” a quiet voice from the left side of Tyson’s bed replied. Listening to the tone of the female’s voice, he was easily able to discern it to be one of the maid’s in the house; also Sarutobi’s younger sister, Silba. Tyson swallowed the heavy lump of terror in the back of his throat, as his heart stopped racing in his chest.
On many previous occasions whilst Sarutobi was busy with other things and Kai was in one of his moods to not be around, it was the young woman that kept him company, often times making Tyson feel as if it were old times when he first started living with Kai. Next to Sarutobi, Silba was the only other person Tyson could count on to be there for him in his darkest of needs.
“W-will he return soon, Silba?” Tyson asked.
“Don’t worry Master Tyson, he has only been gone a few minutes,” Silba smiled though she had no idea whether or not he could see it. She just prayed that he could sense the disposition she tried to send out to calm his thread bare nerves.
“He’ll be back…won’t he?” Tyson whispered.
“Of course, Master Tyson,” Silba said. “You have nothing to worry about.”
“Or does he?” Kai replied behind her. Silba turned around swiftly only to have a fist smash into her left cheek. The blow thrust her back against the wall with a hard thump. Gasping at the sudden lost of breath, Silba crumpled to her knees momentarily; lifting wide, bewildered eyes up to her master, she blinked back tears from the pain.
“Silba!” Tyson shouted, his voice hitching with fright.
Calm down Ty-koi. The bitch is still alive,” Kai said, a slow malignant smirk quirking his mouth into a hellish grin. His eyes flashed in a way that made the young maid realize the dual haired bluenette’s mouth had finally snapped, and she was in the presence of a lunatic who was going to kill all present. “At least for now anyway. I can’t promise the same after interrogation.”
“Interrogation?” Silba said slowly. “Master Kai, I don’t understand what you mean by-” Her sentence was cut short as a kick caught her square in the throat. Any scream that would have left her lips lunged in her throat as she feel on her side, choking on her saliva. Tears blurred her vision in combination to the searing pain she was experience. Above her Tyson sobbed her name, but even if she wanted to reassure him she was fine, the pain would allow no such words of comfort.
“Oh, you really don’t know what I’m talking about you lying bitch?” Kai sneered. “So, you mean to tell me that only Sarutobi is in on this little scheme to remove Tyson from this household, hm?” Kai paced slowly in front of her, his eyes locked with hers.
“Please…Master Kai…” Silba croaked.
“Please? What? Interrogating you because you know I’m right?” Kai stopped in front of her.
Raising his hand, Kai snapped his fingers as someone standing just outside the door shuffled in. Silba craned her neck in the direction of the shuffling, catching sight of one of the younger maids moving to Kai’s side. The older maid’s heart was heavy, seeing the once pretty face sustaining multiple large purple and black bruises which could only have been the work of Kai’s fists. The tears trickled down the girl’s face, mixing the dark red blood dribbling down her chin onto her clothing.
“Mimori my dear, why don’t you tell Silba exactly what you told me you overheard the other day?”
A sob racked the girl’s fragile shoulders as she shook in terror. “I’m…so…sorry Silba…I was scared…he said…he said I wouldn’t be harmed…and…”
“You should have never trusted my words, Mimori,” Kai scolded lightly. “Don’t you know by now that I don’t keep my promises when it comes to such matters as this? You were better off letting Silba and her brother try to sweep Tyson away from me.”
“How could you Master Kai?” Silba replied hoarsely, pushing herself up on her hands and knees. “You didn’t have to go that far.”
“Oh, I didn’t?” Kai laughed. “Do you think I cared that she told me what you were doing? I’m going to have to eventually get rid of you all one of these days, now won’t I?”
“Leave her out of this, I beg you,” Silba pleased. “I’ll tell you whatever it is you want to know, just don’t lay a hand on her or Master Tyson.”
“Are you giving me an order, Silba?” Kai said, narrowing his eyes.
“No Master Kai…I’m pleading with you,” Silba bowed her head. “I will do anything you ask, just please leave them alone.”
“Anything?” Kai pondered.
“Silba…please don’t leave me alone,” Tyson whimpered.
“Are you being selfish, Ty-koi?” Kai said, turning his attention on the sobbing bluenette in the bed. “That’s such a cruel thing to say when you have me with you. Do you know how sad that very sentence makes me? Not just that, but I’m beginning to feel very jealous that you cry over her leaving you, but you were about to be taken away from me. “Master Kai, please. He has nothing to do with this either,” Silba stated. “It was myself and Sarutobi that are in on this plan. We were planning to taken Tyson to a safe house by tomorrow night where you wouldn’t have found him.”
“Oh really,” Kai grinned. “That’s not what I heard from Mimori. She said it was all Sarutobi’s idea to work together with a certain red head that came sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Your brother never was the obedient one, was he, Silba? Don’t worry though, I will take care of your brother and his little accomplice in due time once I’m done here.”
Silba remained silent on the ground as Kai stepped away from Mimori’s side. Walking to the bedroom door, he closed and locked it. Then turned his attention back to amusingly find Silba climbing up onto the bed to protect Tyson.
“I wonder…what should I do with you two?” Kai thought as he reached into his pants pocket to pull out something with a metallic glint. “Well…I suppose I still have some time to figure it out, now don’t I?”

Akito: You know, I was just reading the reviews and you having a crying Kai fan…and then you went and wrote this chapter…you are just the devil sometimes lady.
Rim: Oh I am not. And for that nice reviewer (while it's in mind) who asked me if I hated Kai...what reason would I have to hate Kai? Just because I write about him like this? I don't think that has anything to do with Kai, because when I hate a character, I bash them relentless or don't use them at all. Technically...I'm just writing a dark piece set with Kai as a villian, Aoki Takao has done it, plenty of other fan fiction writers have done it, don't take it so seriously as me saying 'hey I hate Kai'. Believe me you would know if I hated Kai. I just enjoy writing different angles is all.
Kanzaki: Well…I have nothing to say.
Akito: Me neither, let’s just move on to the next chapter.
Kanzaki: Yeah, I’m with you on this note, Akito.
Akito: You’re going to finally get back to work on this story and the other stories you’ve comprised to do?
