Innocent Dance

LA LI HO! *Kicks the door open* Hi! How are you all doing? Anyways I just wanted to thank you all and hopefully I make this chapter longer then the last one. Since I have no class tomorrow I don’t need to worry about the time ya? Okay then enjoy!


Chapter 11

The sound of an alarm began to ring right into Rei’s ear. He groaned and blindly began to search for his alarm. After a few failed attempts he finally found the annoying alarm and roughly shut I off. He slowly lifted his head up and yawned. He stretched and began to scratch his head. He scanned around the bright room and saw that his roommate was nowhere to be seen.
‘Good…I didn’t wanted to look at him today I mean after last night…’ He placed his hand over his lips and blushed. ‘Why did he do that? I mean does he…’ He looked down at his clock and his eyes widen. “ ELEVEN!?” He jumped out of his bed and quickly made his way toward the restroom. ‘Crap I’m late! Why did it ring so late? I had it set for eight-thirty!’ He turned the hot shower faucet on and quickly removed his pajamas.
‘I bet it was Kai!’ He reached for his shampoo and poured a large amount of it on his head. He began to scrub roughly until he realized it was real sticky. He removed his hands and looked at them and then he yelled.
“HONEY! He replaced my shampoo for honey! Bastard!”

After two hours of trying to remove the honey Rei quickly made his way to the dance/opera house.
‘Thankfully it isn’t far now!’ He began to run faster until he finally made it to the small stage room. He stopped when suddenly he saw a sign on the door. “Huh what’s this?” He picked it up and quickly read it.

“Meeting in room 314”

“Why up there?” He sighed and quickly made his way toward the stairs. He began to run up and after thirty-five steps he arrived in front of room 314. He stopped in front of it a quickly opened the door.
“I’m sorry I’m late!” He had his head bowed and eyes closed.
“And you are?” a mysterious voice replied.
He lifted his head up and looked up to meet gazes with the band.
“Eh!? What…but I thought the dance class was going to be here?”
“Young man this is the band room. Your class is at the bottom and if they are not there they, then they are in the large opera house a few blocks down from this building.”
“But but!”
“You’re interrupting my class now leave!”
“Sorry!” He quickly stepped back and closed the door in front of him. ‘What the crap? The note said this ro…om…KAI!’ He clenched his fists and dashed back down the stairs. After racing down the thirty-five steps he finally arrived to the dance room. He roughly opened it and entered. He was soon stared by the entire class. He felt his cheek flushed and made his way down.
“So good for you to show up Rei.”
“I’m sorry Brooklyn. My alarm seemed to be tampered and then there was a note that said we were suppose to meet in room 314.” He glared up at Kai who wasn’t looking.
“Well why would we meet up there? That room doesn’t even have a stage. Rei if you are going to be tardy at least think of a better excuse.”
“Brooklyn it’s the truth!”
“Listen Rei. I gave you this opportunity so please don’t screw it up.”
“I understand. It won’t happen again.” He bowed his head and Brooklyn simply smiled.
“Okay then let’s start from the beginning.”
He turned back toward the class. Jin walked over to Rei and signaled him to follow him.
“Sorry I’m late.”
“Don’t worry about it. Brooklyn is the one who you should tell that too though. He may not seem angry but trust me he is going to let you know.”
“Oh joy.”
“Anyways here’s your script.”
“Script?”
“Yep. It’s for the new play.”
“Cool.”
He began to read it and he looked over at Jin with a confused look.
“It says cat boy…”
“Yeah you’re going to play the cat character.”
“Cat? Exactly what kind of play is this?”
“Well Brooklyn decided to make this performance for children. He is doing a charity performance for the children’s hospital. So this big dance he was talking about is going to be a dance performance about fairy Princess and your scene is going to be in the forbidden woods.
“So no princess part for me right?”
“Right. Julia and Kai will be doing their parts.”
“Okay everyone we need to get this right! I am sorry that we are practicing on a Saturday but we need this done for next Friday!”
Everyone watched him and began to whisper.
“Come on! Let’s get going! And since Rei decided to show up I think we shall practice the Forbidden Forest scene! Everyone read your parts and then get in place. Five minutes!”
They all agreed and began to read the lines.
Rei was sitting and began to read his lines.
‘Hmm…not much just it says that I need to come from the left side of the stage. But what kind of moves…wait a minute.’ He got up and walked over toward Brooklyn.
“Hey Rei what can I do for you?”
“I thought this was a dance performance.”
“It is.”
“But it says there will be some gymnastic moves here.”
“Oh don’t worry that is mostly for Kai and Julia.”
“You serious?”
“Yep. That’s why we are going to work hard the entire week.” He looked over at the raven hair and smiled. “Now get in your position.”
“Right.” He made his way back toward backstage. ‘I wonder if that bastard is any good when it comes to back flipping and such?’
“Alright everyone let’s get started!”
Rei stood in his position and watched when Kai and Julia both passed by him. He glanced over and caught the dual hair’s glaring and he quickly turned.
‘Sheesh that guy seriously looks like he is ready to kill anyone.’



Hour after hour of complete humiliation had been occurring to Rei. He constantly failed his part by tripping and taking someone down with him or by going out of cue with the other dancers.
“Okay! I think we had enough practice for today! Everyone may leave except for you Rei. I would like to see you now.”
The raven hair gulped and quickly followed Brooklyn to the small dance studio located to the left side of the stage. Jin went along with them and closed the double doors behind. They entered the gold hallway and went toward the right side toward the small dance studio. They entered and Jin closed the door behind them.
“I am sorry Brooklyn. I know I have been screwing up badly…its well Kai…he made me do the mistakes.”
Brooklyn sighed and turned on the small stereo facing the front mirror. He began to stretch and soon was moving with the music.
Rei looked at him in confusion and then looked behind him and looked at Jin with a questioned look.
“He’s just letting some stress out. Plus he is getting ready to give you a big speech.” He whispered into the raven hair’s ear.
“Oh”
Brooklyn and turned and looked over at the boy with a smile.
“Rei I know you have great potential when it comes to dancing. But I also realized that you are having this grudge with Kai. Instead of accepting your mistakes you decided to blame it on Kai and the anger you feel toward him.”
“But he was making me trip! He stuck his foot right when I did my dance in front of him.”
“Rei. Come one. There will always be challenges in things like this. But if you begin to accuse someone for your actions then it is a sign that you truly do not belong on the stage.”
‘But he saw when Kai tripped me. Why is he saying that it is my fault?’
“You must ignore the little problems and focus mainly on your goal. Rei you love dancing I can tell but if you continue to drift away in thought then you will never reach your dream.”
‘Drift in thought? Shit I was constantly thinking about last night…why did Kai kiss me and then he ended up doing those damn tricks on me…’
“I will let it slide today. But from now on I wish to see your fire. Don’t let anyone stop you okay and try to get over this silly grudge. Kai may be a real hand full but you will soon get use to that. He has a special way of bonding with others.”
‘Yeah honey…’
“So will I have your word that this will never happen again?”
He looked at Brooklyn and still saw the sincere smile and nodded in agreement.
“Great. Now go out and enjoy the rest of the day. I will see you bright and early tomorrow okay?”
“Kay.” He bowed at them both and made his way out of the room.
“Wow you sure showed him.” Jin looked over at the orange hair and saw him smiling.
“I don’t think yelling and making them feel like fools will make them realize their errors. After all we are all human and we all make mistakes. Am I right?”
“Yeah.” He smiled at Brooklyn and received a wink that made him blush.
“We have the rest of the afternoon off. What do you want to do?” He slowly made his way toward Jin.
“Um just work on props.”
“Awww but you have the crew to do that. Why not play with me today? I want to please you.” He leaned against the man and began to trace his finger over his chest. “I like you and you know how badly I wish for you to make love to me.”
“Brooklyn…I mean” He began to panic and began to scan the room.
“What? I’m not good for you? Is it because I’m a guy?”
“No…I mean I like you too but…”
“I understand. You don’t like me that way.” He began to grind his hips against Jin’s making him jump in surprise. “But I can always make you change your mind.”
“Stop…I mean…” He moaned when he felt the orange hair gripping on his penis and stroking it over his blue jeans.
“Do you really want me to stop?”
“God…Brooklyn not here…”
“Why not? We’re alone and the music is playing loud. Don’t you want to hear me scream?” He leaned in and began to kiss Jin making the man moan.
“Brooklyn…stop”
“You sure?”
Jin nodded and the orange hair removed himself from the older man and walked over toward the stereo.
“Are you upset?” He walked over toward him and waited for a reply.
“No why should I be? You know I am only messing with you.” He turned around and gave him a fake smile.
“Brooklyn…”
“Jin come on I am only teasing you! Anyways I have a lot of things to go over for the performance. Don’t forget to lock up alright.” He leaned over to him and quickly gave him a kiss on the tip of his nose. “I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
With that he left the small room leaving a now upset Jin.
‘I think I did hurt him…he seemed sad…’ He ran his hand through his hair and sighed. ‘I should make it up to him.’



“Sorry your day was rough today Rei.” Raul looked over at the raven hair and noticed he was pissed.
“I just can’t believe what that asshole did!? I mean first he changed my alarm and then he switched my shampoo. Then he made me run up the stairs toward the band room. That guy is seriously evil!”
“Are you sure it was Kai who did all those things?”
“Come on Raul! I mean he is the only one in the same room with me! Who else would do such a thing?”
“I’m sorry I was only suggesting.”
He sighed and placed his arm around the Spanish boy’s shoulders.
“No I’m sorry. I’m just beat and upset that I screwed up big time today.”
“It happens.”
“I bet your sister never screwed up like that.”
“She wasn’t a professional in the beginning. It took her a lot of practice and dedication.”
“Yeah well check her out now. Not one mistake.”
He sighed again and rested his head on the Spanish boy’s shoulder making him blush.
“Um Rei?”
“Yeah?”
“I was wondering if maybe you would like to go to the pound with me.”
“Pound? What for?”
“Well I volunteer there every weekend.”
“Sure.”
“Really?”
“Why not? I have nothing better to do. Besides it might take my mid off of today.”
“Great!”




“Raul! Hi!” A small girl with short pink hair greeted the two in front of the door.
“Hi Matilda.”
“I thought you weren’t going to show today.”
“I would never miss a day.”
“Good to hear. Oh I see you brought a friend.”
“Oh yeah. Rei this is Matilda.”
“Hey.”
“Nice to meet you Rei. So you are going to help out here too?”
“Yep.”
“Oh that’s great.” The phone began to ring. “Oop well you know what to do Raul so go on ahead.” She quickly made her way toward the desk office.
“Come on.”
They both headed toward the back of the building where all the animal cages were held. They entered and soon they were greeted by barking dogs.
“Ouch. They’re loud.”
“They are only saying hi.”
“Yeah well a nice way in making you deaf.”
Raul smiled and made his way deeper down the cages.
“Come on. I want to show you Fai.”
“Fai?”
They continued to walk until they made it toward a few cages that were empty.
“I don’t see any dogs in here.”
“It’s not a dog.”
“It’s not?”
“No.” He kneeled in front of the cage and began to call out. Rei watched him in confusion and waited. Finally a long fuzzy tail was seen behind the large box.
“Fai come here.”
Soon cay ears were seen and out peeked a cat.
“Whoa! What is that!?”
“It’s Fai.”
The small animal looked like a cat mixed rabbit. It had long ears peaked up and it’s eyes were rabbit like. The rest of it had the body of a cat and he was the size of a kitten of 5 months.
“Is that a mutant?”
“No it’s a cat mixed rabbit.”
“You serious?”
‘Yeah. He’s mixed.”
‘How can that be? I mean don’t cat eat rabbits?”
“It’s a long story and I really don’t ant to share his parents sex life.” He had a slight blush across the bridge of his nose but quickly turned his attention toward the animal.
“Well why is he in the pound?”
”He was abandoned.” He stood up and opened the cage. He walked in and picked the small animal up.
“And he isn’t even adopted? I mean dang you can get a lot of publicity with him. Think of the cash.”
“That’s why he’s back here.”
“Huh?”
“If they found out about him they might but him in a lab and do experiments on him. He isn’t a freak…he’s a miracle.” The small animal rubbed its cheek against Raul’s chin.
“Oh.”
“I want to take him with me. But pets aren’t aloud in the dorms.”
“What about your parents?”
“I don’t have any. I was raised in a circus.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright. But if I do send him there they would use him for a freak show. Matilda is trying her best to keep him here but the rules are to get rid of the animals who seem they will never be adopted.”
“I see.”
Rei saw the pure joy shining in the Spanish boy’s eyes and then he smiled.
“Raul let’s take him!”
“What?”
“ I am saying we should take him back with us.”
“But pets aren’t aloud.”
“That’s in the dorms. We don’t know about our building. I mean we each have separate rooms so you can keep him safe with you.”
“But if I get caught.”
“You won’t. We will keep it a secret.”
‘What if.”
“Relax! Don’t worry no one will find out. Besides if they do I can always beat them to a pulp and force them to keep it to themselves.”
He looked over to the Spanish boy and smiled.
“Really?”
“You know it. Besides this little guy is a miracle right? So a miracle deserves to live.”
Raul smiled and hugged Rei.
“Thank you!”
“Heh no problem.” The raven hair embraced him back.




After two hours hanging around in the pound and playing with the animals there. Rei and Raul made their way back toward Silver River College.
“How are we going to sneak him in without anyone noticing?”
“Well he’s pretty small. I know let’s go to Takao and Mihaeru. They’ll help for sure.”
“Alright!”



“What are you two thinking!? If they find out you have a pet you will be banned from this college.”
Takao looked Raul holding the small Fai in his arms.
“Keep it down Ty. No one will find out if you swear not to tell.”
“Rei said you two would help.”
“To get banned!? Hell no! You know how hard it was for me to get in?”
“Takao relax.” Mihaeru placed his hand on the bluenette’s shoulder and squeezed it lightly.
“Alright.” He began to relax and leaned on his lover.
“Well he is a strange one. What is he?” The light blond asked.
‘He’s a mix breed.” The raven hair looked over at the animal.
“Breed of what? Mutations?”
“No a cat and rabbit.”
“Now that is new for me.” The bluenette stood up and walked across from his bed toward Mihaeru’s where Rei and Raul were sitting. He leaned down and looked at the animal.
“Looks like a toy. Actually more like an anime creature.” He chuckled and was about to pet Fai when suddenly the animal showed his fangs. “Whoa! It’s a demon!”
“Looks like he doesn’t like you Takao.”
“Yeah well it better show some respect or else I’m going to turn it in.”
‘Tyson!”
“Just kidding.” He walked back toward the light blond and sat on his bed with his legs crossed Indian style.
“Well since it does look like a toy why not pretend he is. He hardly moves after all right?”
“Only when he is in my arms.”
“Then that is what you can do. Until you make it to your room of course.”
“Do you think he will stay still that long?” Rei looked at Raul with a questioned look.
“I’m not sure.”
“Then here use this.” Takao leaned forward and began to dig under his bed. He pulled out a small gym bag and tossed it at Rei. “Stick him in there and quickly go back to your room.”
“Thanks Takao.” Rei grabbed the bag and the Spanish boy slowly placed Fai inside. “Well we better get going then.” He stood up and Raul did the same thing. “Thanks for your help.”
“Anytime.” Mihaeru smiled at them both and Takao winked.
“Now don’t go doing anything naughty. You hear me Rei?”
“Fuck you Takao.”
“Sorry I only belong to this sexy guy.” He hugged Mihaeru and received a snort from Rei.
“Later horn dog. Bye Mihaeru.”
With that they said their goodbyes and quickly headed toward the dance/opera suites.




They finally arrived to the building and made their way up the stairs toward Raul’s room. They finally arrive and the Spanish boy opened the door letting Rei enter.
He locked the door behind them and the raven hair placed the bag on the floor. He opened it up and Fai popped his head out.
“Looks like he was suffocating in that smelling gym bag.”
Raul laughed and kneeled down toward the small animal. He petted him on the head and smiled when he received a small nudge.
“Thanks again Rei. No one would of have ever offered to help me take him.”
“Hey like I said no problem. Besides I saw how happy that little guy made and well I wanted to keep you happy.”
“Rei.” He slightly blushed making the raven hair blush as well.
“You’re my friend after all.” He smiled at him and received a smile back.
“Thanks a lot.”
He leaned closer to Rei and pressed his lips against the raven hair. Rei’s eyes widen but soon began to close them. He began to kiss back. Raul pulled himself closer and wrapped his arms around Rei’s neck. The raven hair grabbed his hips and pulled him even closer. The Spanish boy moaned softly between the kiss. They were suddenly interrupted by a loud knock at the door. They broke the kiss and Raul quickly made his way toward the door.
“W…who is it?” He stuttered.
“Kai. Is that Kon guy with you?”
“Uh yeah.”
“Tell him to get his lazy ass back to my room!”
“Uh alright.”
With that the angry dual hair left the front of Raul’s door.
The Spanish turned back toward Rei and saw him slowly getting up.
“I better go see what his highness wants.”
“Right.”
“I’ll see you later.” He quickly left the boy and walked out.
Raul sighed and leaned against the door. Fai came walking over to him and nuzzled against him. He smiled and picked him up. “Does this make us official?” He smiled at the small animal as he tilted his rabbit type head to the side.



‘Oh wow…that was incredible. His lips were so soft.’ He blushed and smiled to himself. ‘Stupid Takao he is not going to let me hear the last of this.’ He frowned and quickly made his way u to his room on the third floor. ‘I wonder what he wants’
He finally arrived and opened the door. He stepped in and saw Kai sitting in the sofa clipping channels.
“Took you long.”
Rei frowned and walked over where the dual hair was sitting.
“What do you want?”
He turned the television off and turned to glare at Rei.
“Don’t act innocent. I know what you did. And you better give me a good excuse why I shouldn’t do something about it.”
Rei’s eyes widen as he stared at the dual hair in shock.
‘Crap he already knows of Fai!? But how!?’
