A Modest Proposal/Envy's Housecall

Edward awoke to find himself in the Red Room, surrounded by white candles. There was a bottle of sparkling red grape juice chilling in a bucket of ice and two fluted glasses on a small cafe table with two wrought iron chairs covered in red wisps of cheesecloth. Soft music that was recognized as being Yoko Kanno was playing in the surround sound entertainment center in front of the bed. He yawned sleepily and rubbed his eyes as Roy walked in the room carrying a tray of strawberries and grapes. He looked quite dapper in his black and red pinstripe Armani suit. He had a small rose in the breast pocket, which he plucked out and handed to Ed. Ed blushed furiously and accepted the rose, batting his eyelashes in appreciation. Roy extended his hand to help Ed out of the bed. “What is all this about?” Ed began but was silenced by soft smooth lips pressing on his own. He opened his mouth wider to allow Roy’s tongue to explore his mouth while he ran his hands through the jet black hair, happy that the concussion on Roy’s head had significant reduction of swelling.

Roy led Edward to the table and pulled out a chair for him to sit in. Edward chuckled at the treatment, secretly hoping that if this is how he was to be treated after Roy getting a concussion, then he should hit his head more often. Roy poured both of them a glass of juice and offered Ed the strawberries and grapes.

“So you want to know what this is all about, Ed?” Roy asked, his dark eyes sparkling. Ed nodded and chewed the food. “Close your eyes and hold out your hand for a special surprise,” Roy replied, the look of pure mischief on his face. Ed closed his eyes, remembering Al telling him that same phrase when they were both children and both had their entire human bodies.

He only hoped that Roy didn’t put horseshit in his hand the way Al did. Roy placed something cold and hard in Ed’s hand. Ed could sense the metallic properties, until he felt an immense heat from a transmutation in his hand. The heat didn’t hurt, but it was just a lot of pressure in his hand. It was similar to when Roy surrounded him in flame at Pinako’s, not a painful heat but a high-pressure heat.

“Okay, open your eyes,” Roy said between jagged breaths. Edward opened his eyes to find a rather large and brilliant diamond ring in his hand. The entire ring was made of diamonds, small circular ones made up the band and a beautiful orb shaped diamond sat in the middle. The best smith in the world could not have made a better diamond. Ed’s mouth dropped open and tears welled in his eyes. Roy sat across from him still holding his hand, sweating and trying to regain his strength. He had made the diamond crystal swan on his desk the same way once when he was bored, and also made Gracia’s wedding ring the same way. It took a lot out of him, and sometimes the crystals he made were chemically unstable and would crack and break after time. The higher the heat and pressure he used though, the longer the rock would stay together.

Roy slid off his chair and on one knee and kissed Ed’s hand. “Edward Elrich, please do me the honor of lowering your standards to become my loving and devoted husband,” Roy said, looking straight into Ed’s eyes. Ed stared wide-eyed at him and began to laugh. Roy felt a drop of sweat fall down his neck and pursed his lips. Ed laughed hysterically and then began to cry hysterically. He clutched his stomach and bent over, tears flowing down his face. Roy bit his lower lip in slight confusion, but then was knocked over as Ed fell on top of him. His human arm wrapped around Roy’s neck, Ed smiled and nodded. “I’m not gonna ask how you arranged all this, O’ mighty Colonel, but thank you. Thank you so much for loving me,” Ed whispered, kissing Roy’s neck. Roy quickly stood up and helped Ed to his feet. “Don’t go anywhere; I’ll be right back!” Roy said, kissing Ed on the lips. When Roy left the room, Ed put the ring on his finger and spun around. \"Wow,\" he said to no one in particular, \"Someone is actually going to marry me. This is aswesome. What do you guys think?\" he asked, rubbing his stomach. The reply was a hard kick to the bladder, rushing him to the bathroom.

Roy silently crept into the kitchen. “He said yes,” he whispered into the darkness. Suddenly, a light flashed in front of his eyes.

“He did?” Hughes whispered from under the kitchen table.

“Get up you moron,” Rush angrily hissed, walking over to snatch Hughes off the floor.

“Everyone shut the fuck up!” Roy whispered loudly. “Ed doesn’t know you guys are here.”

Hughes smirked in the darkness. “Toldja the coal to diamond thing would work.” He had to muffle an “oof” from where Rush kicked him in the chest.

“No, shit for brains. It was the fruit and bubblies that did it.\"

\"Just shut up and be glad they worked!” Roy whispered loudly.

Hughes frowned. \"Some thanks we get, huh, Rushie?\"

Extremely pissed at this point, Roy grabbed both of them by their necks and after nearly falling over the table chairs, pushed both of them out into the yard. “Go and never come back!” he whispered, shooing them off. Hughes looked at Rush and smiled. “Wanna go eat? I’ll buy you a Rooty Tooty from Ihop,” he said, extending his arm. Rush batted her eyes demurely and placed a hand over her chest. “Why Maes, I didn’t know you cared.” Hughes grinned sheepishly. “I don’t. I just hate eating alone.” Rush punched him lightly in the same place she had kicked him earlier and they walked away arm in arm laughing.

Roy looked in the hallway mirror. He had a stubborn cowlick the refused to lay down. He often had strands of hair flying in every direction, but this cowlick took the cake. The last thing he wanted was to go make love to his fiancee (fiancee...sigh) looking like Alph-Alpha. The door beside him opened and Ed walked out, adjusting his clothes. “Were you talking to someone in the kitchen?“ he asked, looking down and pulling at his shirt. Roy smoothed down his hair and tried to look suave. “No, your pregnancy is making you hear things.” He looked at Roy and smiled, rubbing the ring on his finger with his thumb. “I take it the ring pleases you,” Roy stated, embracing Ed gently. Ed held up the ring and even in the low light, it shone brilliantly. “I think I made it almost flawless,” Roy bragged, swelling up his chest. Ed stared at the rainbows on the wall and looked back at Roy. “If that’s the case, I like my men like I like my diamonds. Almost flawless,” he whispered, burying his head in Roy’s chest. Roy felt his heart leap for the young man who was comfortably sequestered in his arms. He felt peace, love, and completion. For once in his life, he honestly felt secure.

Ed looked up quizzically to see the tears in Roy’s eyes. He drew back from him and watched the silvery rivers of salt and water run down his lover’s face. When one tear sat at the tip of Roy’s chin, Ed ever so lightly leaned upward and placed a kiss over the tear, tasting the salt. Roy wrapped his arms in a crushing embrace around Ed and picked him up to carry him to the Red Room. Once inside, he lay Ed down on the red satin sheets and pulled off the black tank and black leather pants. As usual, Ed was naked underneath. He moved to undress himself when Ed sat up and stopped him. “Let me, please,” Ed said, unbuttoning the pinstripe jacket. Roy nodded and Ed moved quickly but stealthily, barely touching Roy’s skin as he undressed him. Roy walked away from the bed for a brief moment, only to retrieve their glasses and some of the grapes and strawberries. He crawled in bed beside Ed and pulled the covers over them, stroking Ed’s cheek and staring at him. Edward seemed even more breathtaking than usual; his hair and eyes seemed to sparkle more golden than usual, his skin never seemed more velvet and creamy. Roy took one of the strawberries and ran the tip of it over Ed’s lips, down his cleavage, over both erect nipples, and back up to his lips. “Suck on it,” Roy whispered hotly, mesmerized by the sensuality of his lover. Ed placed his lips around the fat strawberry and sucked the tip of it, taking it out and licking around it, making a ‘you’re next’ face at Roy. Roy chuckled and took the strawberry from Ed, kissing his lips gently.

“May I make love to you tonight, Edward?” Roy whispered softly, intently gazing into Ed’s eyes. Ed nodded, feeling a shiver run through his body from the tender words. Never in his life had he been treated so carefully and so gently. The only comparable times were when he was sick and his mother was alive, how she would let him and Al sleep in the bed with her and how he would sometimes catch her looking at him with eyes full of love. It was similar to the way Roy was looking at him. There was no urging, no rushing in his eyes. Only patience, compliance, acceptance, and mostly love. Roy stroked Ed’s neck before kissing his lips. The kiss was slow and searching before becoming hot and needing. Roy attacked Ed’s lips repeatedly, their tongues happily wrestling with each other. After kissing Ed’s sweet lips, Roy bent down to kiss on Ed’s soft and inviting neck. “Ok, let’s wait until Halloween to be a vampire,” Ed snapped after Roy bit his neck. Roy chuckled but resisted the urge to bite the already swollen nipples he encountered on his way down Ed’s torso. He rubbed Ed’s belly lovingly; making him laugh as he whispered promises of toys and candy to his children. He continued kissing down Ed’s body, down his auto mail leg, then down his human leg all the way to the tip of his big toe. Grinning wickedly at Ed, Roy stuck out his tongue and licked from Ed’s heel, to his arch, and the to his big toe, biting it hard. Ed glared at him from around his belly. Roy placed an apologetic kiss on the toe and then pulled Ed down to the foot of the bed by his legs.

Ed closed his eyes, immersed in the feeling of Roy inside of him. His mind was still trying to grasp the fact that Roy actually proposed. Hughes and Hawkeye both gave him inklings about the fact Roy may have eventually asked for some continuance of the relationship, but he never expected marriage. In fact, Ed had been so sure that no one would ever want him that he forced Winry to sign a legal agreement that if they are both unmarried by the age of twenty-five that they marry each other just so they don’t have to be alone. He sold himself short thinking no one would ever accept his auto mail or that his life’s work was to obtain the Philosopher\'s Stone and restore his brother’s lost body. With Roy, he knew there would be no competition, no late nights up wondering with questions those of lesser esteem would have. A deep thrust to Ed’s prostate snapped him out of his thoughts and he opened his eyes to gaze at his lover. The thick black hair, well shaped muscles and handsome face more than turned Ed on. He moaned loudly and placed his hands on Roy’s shoulders, pulling him down for a kiss. The thrusts were almost painfully slow as Roy moved within him. Roy maintained incredible control while fighting back his orgasm multiple times. He wanted this night to be perfect, for Ed to trust in him 100%. “Edward,” Roy said softly, staring deep in the boy’s eyes. “I love you. I want you. I need you. I promise you that the happiness of my family is my first priority. No one will ever hurt you again.” With that, he stood up and lifted Ed with him and quickened his pace, thrusting even deeper inside the tight, hot cavern.

Ed’s eyes rolled in his head and his honey colored hair spread all around the pillows in different angles, almost as if a glass of orange juice had been knocked down over a piece of red paper. “Roy, baby make love to me,” Ed moaned and begged repeatedly, writhing beneath the ministrations of the Flame Alchemist. Roy bit his lip and cocked his head to the side, thrusting harder into Ed. “Mmmm, you’re so fucking tight for me Edward...so tight,” he panted, feeling his balls tighten. “Roy...ahhhh,” Ed moaned, arching his back while he came. Seeing Ed orgasm was the final straw for Roy as he filled Ed with his seed, his mouth hanging open and eyes shut tightly. When he opened his eyes, Ed lay beneath him, looking up at him with a faint smile on his face. His countenance was glowing with happiness and his eyes had a peaceful haze to them. Roy exited Ed slowly and bent down to lick up the remains of the semen that was running slowly out of Ed. Ed reached down to stroke the thick hair, still careful of the knot to the left on Roy’s head. He continued licking upwards to finish off the cum that Ed had sprayed on his own stomach. When the cleaning job was done, Roy climbed back beside Ed, pulling the covers over their bodies. “That was exquisite,” Roy murmured into Ed’s ear, kissing the lobe. Ed smirked and gave Roy a quick peck on the lips. “You gave me jewelry, I gave you ass. It was a fair trade, right?” he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Roy plucked one of the wires in Ed’s auto mail, making his arm jerk. “Damnit Roy!” he screamed as Roy tackled him under the sheets.

Ed opened his eyes and yawned, noticing that it was still dark outside. He looked beside him to see Roy was breathing evenly and sleeping peacefully. He eased himself out of bed to go shower and use the bathroom. Once in the shower, he stood under the water, letting it cover his face and body while he lost himself in his thoughts once more. His hands held his stomach as he wondered for a moment how he was going to have his babies. Faith told him his due date was in approximately eighteen days, but she refused to treat him since Parker’s death. She turned him over to a tall, pretty faced woman named Melany Larose. Dr. Larose was a former protege of Faith’s and was just as surly and rude as Dr. Faith. Ed trusted her about as far as he could throw Gluttony, but the woman had his best interests at heart, and also didn’t hit on Roy during their weekly visits. Ed finished washing himself and thinking and stepped out of the shower to the sink. The steam from the shower filled the huge bathroom thickly, almost to the point where Ed couldn’t breathe.

Ed took his human hand to wipe steam from the mirror and was startled by the voice that said “Hello, Edward,” behind him. He whirled around to see Parker standing there in the same cloak she wore when she walked with Lt. Archer. “P-Parker?” Ed asked in confusion. The shape morphed and he grew even more mortified when Envy’s face peek out from the hood of the cloak.

Envy grinned at Ed and stepped toward him. Ed stepped back, nearly falling onto the countertop. Envy looked and nodded approval at Ed’s naked body. “Nice tits, Full Metal,” he said reaching out to touch one. Ed sneered and slapped the hand away. “Touch me and die!” he snarled, preparing to clap his hands. “But Edward, you wouldn’t want to kill your mother a third time, would you?” Envy morphed into Trisha’s form, making Ed stop dead in his tracks and crumple to the floor. “Look at you. You’re pregnant like some teenage slut. No wonder your father left us! Maybe he was psychic. Maybe he knew our son was going to be someone’s bottom bitch and couldn’t take it!” Trisha/Envy screamed at the stricken boy. Ed began to cry and hold his stomach, rocking back and forth on the red bathroom rug.

Envy changed back into his normal Homunculi form and stared at Ed. He took delight in the boy’s pains. He sat down on the countertop and kicked Ed’s metal shoulder. “Listen up, asshole. I’m not here to be an angel of death. You don’t deserve death. What you deserve is knowing you killed Parker.” Envy grinned sadistically at Ed when he raised his head in confusion. “She envied your and Roy’s relationship. Envied your children. Did you know Parker was a Wiccan? Of course not, you were probably too busy being face down ass up for Mustang. Anyways, after she saw you pregnant she performed a ritual to beg for vengeance. A way to...equal out her pain.” Envy hopped off the counter and helped Ed up by his shoulders.

“She was in the process of taking her life when Lust and I approached her.” Envy wrapped a towel almost lovingly around Ed’s naked shivering body. “She allowed us to kill her, to rape her and steal her essence,” he whispered into Ed’s ear. “She begged for death. But she made us promise to make you and Mustang suffer for her pain. She didn’t want you to die. She wanted you to suffer, to struggle, to lose. And so you shall,” Envy said, his violet eyes sparkling as he turned to leave. He turned around and walked back to Ed. “Remember when Faith said you were going to have twins? Well now you aren’t,” he said cheerfully, slamming his fist into Ed’s stomach. “Gotta love that equivalent exchange alchemy bullshit. See you in about three weeks,” Parker’s voice called sweetly as she walked away leaving Ed bleeding and doubled over on the bathroom floor.

Roy’s eyes popped open. He was awakened when Ed left the room and heard the shower, but that had been almost an hour ago. Frowning, he got up to look for Ed. Walking down the hall, he noticed the bathroom door was open. What he found inside caused his first gray hair. Lying in a pool of blood was his beloved Edward, naked, pale and twitching from shock. His usual light yellow eyes were dulled over in shock and there was a small almost fist sized hole in the right side of his stomach. “EDWARD!” Roy screamed, running over to him. Ed’s skin felt cold and his eyes were open and unblinking. He touched Ed’s neck and felt a very faint pulse. “He’s dying,” Roy said aloud and falling to his knees. Huge tears fell from his eyes as he held the boy close to him and cried. By the time an ambulance got there he knew Ed would be dead for sure. He held Ed and rocked with him until he remembered the red stone. He placed Ed’s head down carefully and ran into the Red Room, searching for Ed’s pocket watch. Inside, under the face was the same piece of the Philosopher\'s Stone used only weeks ago on Roy. He grabbed the stone and ran back into the bathroom to place it on Edward. Rolling him onto his back, Roy placed the stone between Ed’s breasts and drew an array with one of his sister’s eyebrow pencils around the stone. Saying a short prayer, he placed his hand carefully over the array and closed his eyes.

Ed opened his eyes to see a red light fading and Roy kneeling over him, his eyes blood red from crying. “Envy!” Ed cried sitting up quickly. Roy was on his feet in a flash. “Envy did this to you?” he asked quietly, strands of his hair shaking in anger. Roy balls his fists so tightly; blood began to drip from his palms. Ed nodded looking up at Roy. He noticed a silver streak in his hair that wasn’t there earlier that night. Ed clutched his stomach where Envy punched him and felt the spot of impact. He sighed with relief when the spot pushed back at him a few moments later. He looked down at the carpet and saw no blood, just faint traces on his stomach and on Roy’s fingers. “You used the stone,” Ed murmured, looking down. Roy looked at him puzzled. “I had to, Edward. Envy punched a hole in you and-” “I know what he did,” Ed said flatly. “I was here. Trust me, I know.” He pushed himself off the floor and stood in front of the mirror and frowned at the array on his chest. He wiped it off with a towel and raised his eyebrow at Roy’s hurt and confused expression in the mirror. “What do you want?” Ed asked in a testy voice. “You want a thank you? You want gratitude, Mustang? Well you don’t deserve it. Parker is dead because of us!” he screamed, turning around and throwing the towel at Roy. Roy stared at Ed, his expression blank. “Lust and Envy killed Parker. He said she wanted death for herself, but suffering for us. And our children.” Ed walked over and stared up at Roy‘s face. “I’m afraid, Roy. Afraid of being a father, afraid of protecting more lives. I’m afraid I’m not good enough. I‘m afraid I can‘t cut it,” he whispered, turning his head so his hair would hide his emotions. Roy moved only his eyes and looked at Ed. Then wordlessly, he nodded and walked off to the Red Room.

Ed followed him and was surprised to see Roy changed into his military uniform and packing. “Where are you going?” he asked sharply. “Away,” was the answer he received. Ed reached for the black kimono and wrapped it around his body. Roy walked over to Ed, untied the kimono and then shrugged. “I can always buy another kimono,” he reasoned out loud. Ed gaped in horror as Roy handed him the keys to the house, truck, and vintage Mustang. “Even though you’re smart, I’ll point out the obvious. I’m leaving,” Roy said, closing the suitcase. Ed sank to the bed and held his head down as Roy finished packing. “Coward,” Ed muttered as Roy stepped into the hallway. The word made Roy stop dead in his tracks. “What?” he said, almost in a whisper. “You little piece of shit,” Roy hissed, turning around slowly. \"If you want to see a coward, look at yourself, Elric.\" He dropped the suitcases with a loud ‘clang’ on the wooden floor. “You’re just like my father! A spineless lazy son of a bitch!” Ed screamed. Roy strode across the floor and punched Ed across the face. Hard. He caught Ed by his throat and forced the boy to look into his blazing brown eyes. “Let your precious stone fix that,” Roy snarled. He pushed Ed away from him, his callused fingers bruising the tender neck flesh. Walking back out into the hall, Roy picked up his suitcases and walked away. Ed watched the black shiny boots disappear and closed his eyes when he heard the tires squeal out of the driveway. He went into the bathroom and held the stone, sobbing his heart out. Envy smiled and faded further into the shadows, satisfied at his doings.

Hughes rubbed his eyes when his alarm went off. He grumbled a few obscenities and put on a dark blue windbreaker and matching pants to go on his morning run. He gently kissed Gracia, who rolled over in her sleep. He placed some sugar cookies under Elysia’s pillow and kissed her sandy hair as she slept. Whistling, he opened his front door and was shocked to see Roy’s car out front, and a small light waving around. Walking to the car and opening the door, Hughes coughed and stumbled away from the smell and smoke of weed. When the smoke cleared, he sat shotgun and he and Roy sat in silence for a moment. “So...you asked for Ed’s hand and then you were so happy, you decided to smoke vast amounts of weed outside my house all night?” Roy gave a fake smile. “Not all night. Only the past three hours.” Hughes nodded. “That makes it all better then.” He returned the fake smile and patted Roy’s hand. “You hit him, and you hit him hard,” Hughes said softly. Roy gave him a confused look. Hughes pointed at the freshly scabbing wound on Roy’s knuckles. Roy reddened and turned away, ashamed. Hughes sighed and invited his friend in for a shower and a hot coffee, already contemplating on how the situation could be fixed.

Yet again, for twelve days Roy and Ed didn’t speak. Ed’s stomach had swollen to an impressive size, making it hard for him to breathe and move around. In those twelve days, Ed had gained roughly between twenty and thirty pounds. He still came to Central, determined to work until Dr. Larose told him to stay his rotund ass at home. He passed by Roy only once, and that was on the eleventh day. He and Al were studying in the library when Roy walked in. Al nodded and waved; Ed was in between bookcases looking for a books on childbirth. With books stacked over his head, he slowly inched back to his and Al’s table, unable to see Roy.

“Brother, be careful!” Al squealed as Ed tripped over a snag in the rug. Ed managed to stay on his feet, but the books went everywhere. Roy bent down to help Ed gather his books, noting they were on childbirth. He and Ed stood up at the same time and Ed looked at him, his fat cheeks flushed. The cut on his lips from Roy’s punch had healed and his face looked soft and pinchable. He snatched the books from Roy’s hand and turned around to sit with Al with his back turned. Al wished he hadn’t looked up at Roy. He saw something in the Colonel that was broken, something that was reminiscent to a bird with a broken wing. A bird that wanted to fly, but couldn’t. Roy walked past Ed, and Ed could feel that Roy had reached out and pushed his braid to the side, something he used to do to the alchemist when he was younger to annoy him. With a small sad smile, Ed flipped his braid back and opened his book. “Read more and think less,” he advised his brother before he could ask any questions. “Yes brother,” Al said in a small defeated voice. His trick to manipulate the rug so Ed would fall into Roy’s arms didn’t work, so he decided to follow Ed’s orders.

On the twelfth day, Riza, Rush, and Hughes decided to take Roy to a bar out of town called Tringham’s, run by the Tringham brothers, Fletcher and Russell. Unbeknownst to them, Ramona, Alex, and Al had also decided to take Ed out one last time to Tringham’s before he gave birth. When Roy, Hughes, Riza, and Rush arrived, they saw Ramona and Alex dancing, Al and Fletcher chatting, and Ed just sitting at the bar. Not drinking, talking, or laughing, just sitting. Roy frowned and sat at a table at the other end of the bar with his arms folded. Hughes sat with him while Riza and Rush joined Alex and Ramona on the dance floor. “Look at him sitting over there like he’s so fucking special,” Roy grumbled, quickly swallowing a fifth of scotch. Hughes looked at Ed and back at Roy. “You should talk to him,” he gingerly suggested. Roy laughed bitterly in his friend’s face, taking two more shots down. “Fuck a Edward,” Roy said, drinking a fourth shot. “You\'ve been there and done that. Stop drinking and try the \'Apologize to an Edward plan. Only fourteen ninety five and its good for thirty days money back,” Hughes said, taking the scotch from Roy’s hand. Roy looked up at Ed to see a burly, ugly, pocked-faced man pointing at him and laughing.

“Damn, are you a woman or a man or a machine?” the ugly man roared at Ed, getting some of his equally beastlike friends to chime in. “Yeah, he’s got nice tits and kinda cute. But he’s fat,” one friend slurred. “That mechanical arm is fucked up too,” a third man said, attempting to touch Ed’s auto mail. Ed easily moved his hand away from the drunkards. “Ok I’m gonna find out if its a man or woman,” the original guy said, reaching for Ed’s crotch. Suddenly, the man started screaming for water. His hand was on fire, his skin was bubbling, and he was in agony. The music stopped and everyone turned to see the tall black haired man standing on the bar counter. “Sir, I’ll have to ask you to get down or leave,” Russell said, coming over. “Fuck off unless you wanna be on tonight’s news,” Roy barked, not taking his eyes off the three drunk mice.

“That\'s right sir, as I said enjoy your time here and drinks are on me,” Russell said, backing away. Roy hopped down and faced Edward. “Stop bothering my fiancee or else,” Roy warned, wrapping an arm possessively around Ed. “Or else what?” one of the men stupidly asked. Roy patted his chest and burped, snapping his gloved fingers, turning his mouth into a torch. “Or else I start breathing fire, and your crispy asses get even crispier.” The three men looked at each other and ran out of the bar, yelling bloody murder.

“So you have a fiancee?” Ed asked, looking in Roy’s eyes. He returned the gaze and smiled. “Yeah, but he doesn\'t mind if I get some ass on the side,” Roy replied, carressing Ed\'s cheek. Ed smiled at the familiar touch. “We missed you,” he said in a soft voice, his eyes watering. Roy wiped away the tears that formed in the corners of Ed’s eyes. “I missed you guys too.” Their lips met in a romantic kiss, making everyone in the bar whistle and clap. “No one is ever going to hurt you again. I love you Edward,” Roy whispered, holding Ed close. “Love you too asshole,” Ed whispered back, holding Roy just as close. “I noticed you never took off the ring,” Roy whispered, tickling Edward\'s sides and making him laugh. Just then, Ed felt a series of sharp pains. He leaned forward, breathing hard. “What’s wrong?!!” Roy cried out, alarmed. Ed looked up at him and smiled. “I think it’s time.” Roy looked confused. “Time? Time for what?” Ed frowned at him and pointed at his own stomach. “OH SHIT! IT’S TIME!” Riza and Ramona heard and ran over. “It’s time? Yayyy!!” they cried in unison, jumping up and down in a circle. Roy ran out of the door to pull the car around, nearly driving over a couple standing outside the front door. “Ed, baby come on!” he screamed as Al carried Ed to the car.

“Good luck! Don’t drop the babies! Name one after me!” the crowd screamed and waved as Roy and Ed drove off to Dr. Larose\'s office.

>Envy is such a bastard, trying to kill little babies.
