Konnichiwa! I hope you guys enjoy my story for so far ^^ i like writing it, it gives my mind something else tot think about. I also thank all of you who vote me and send me reviews! I really like it, thank you. And yet again sorry for the lack of Kai×Rei flufness, i think you guys will hate me for this chapter XD but LOVE me for the next one! And I’m not telling anything! I decided to write the next chapter right away after I uploaded the last one, cause I think I owe you guys a bit. Sit back and Enjoy, ohh and Rei didn’t slip off cause he had a lock around Kai’s waist and… Kai helped a bit to XD

Chapter 12


The jet black motorcycle finally stopped in frond of Rei’s building after driving for a few minutes non-stop. Kai who drove it had taken a way around the crowded parts and was left unseen, for him to bring his passenger back to his dorm. The roaring of the engine stopped as the lights faded out and Kai placed one leg on the ground. He took off his helmet to place it on the handle and ruffle his dual blue hair up. When he did so he slowly felt Rei’s grip loosen as he started to fall off the bike. Kai quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him back up. kai raised an eyebrow anyway.

“deep sleeper hu?” the dual hair mumbled as he moved off the bike and looked back at the building. It was deserted here and no lights seemed to be on, as so no one around. The older male didn’t really want to wake the sleeping raven hair cause that would keep the whining, cursing and trouble to a minimum. So he didn’t really have a choice, he slide his hands under the neko’s legs and back for support as he lifted him up. Surprised how light the boy was, he glanced down at the sleeping teenager and noticed also his face was bruised up and smothered with filth. He leaned Rei against his shoulder as he locked his bike up and started to walk towards the building with the Raven haired teen in his arms. The doors slide open before him as he entered the dark room, only the hall lights where burning dimply so you could see a little, to keep the energy level down. As he walked towards the elevator he pushed the button and the doors slide open. As he walked inside the small space he looked at the buttons, of floors and pushed the round one with the bright 5 in it. The doors closed and the elevator started to move up.

Rei had not told him the floor he lived in, or room number. But Kai knew where it was. He was supposed to know anyway, for the fact now he IS part of his band. Kai only looked at the changing digits above the doors jumping from, 1, 2, 3 and so on. He felt Rei slightly shift in his arms and that made it hard for Kai to keep him in place. When there was a ‘pling’ the doors opened and Kai released from his staring trance at the numbers. He stepped out walking through the long hallway. Finally he stopped at room number 512, now he just needed the key. The dual hair wanted to sigh with ignorance as he just let it be and moved Rei over his shoulder.
(A/N: Is Rei in a coma? XD )
He slowly moved his hands inside Rei’s pants pocket to find the key all the way at the bottom. For a moment Kai thought the raven hair was about the wake up, but that didn’t last. When he got it he opened the door and went inside. Closing the door behind him with his foot he walked on, he needed to put Rei down cause his arms where getting numb. He walked on in the bedroom and soundly put Rei down on the soft bed. The curtains where still open and from there the moonlight directly shone into Rei’s bedroom. Kai just stood there next to his bedside as he stared down at the boy. His hair had gotten all lose and wild and lied on the bed like it was put in the perfect position, his face peaceful and calm as the new inflicted marks ruined it.. As mush as Kai hated this kid, a part of him… felt different some how. How Kai felt, was always a mystery to others. He knew how to hide himself very well, and he didn’t really care either. He lowered through his legs as he leaned slightly against the bed.

“What a loser you are, you can’t even take care of yourself let stand help our group to be something big.” Kai said narrowing his eyes at the sleeping boy. He lifted his hand up to move to Rei’s face, putting his finger on the neko’s cheek. He wiped off some filth that was there and a little to rough. Rei slowly began to move his nose and also his eyelids tightened.
(A/N: and then he does?! XD do not react to this! I have to make him wake up somehow!)
Kai did not really care if he woke up, he had done his job and he better would shut up. Rei opened up his eyes completely to stare at Kai directly as Kai just gazed back non emotionlessly. Then the raven hair’s eyes widened as he sat up, not really realizing what was going on at all. The only thing he knew was that the dual hair was with him and normally that was a not good situation.
“what are you doing here?!” Kai stood up as he cocked up an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.
“I brought you back to your dorm, cause you were to moronic to walk straight and to drunk to stay awake, and vultures would eat on you if I didn’t.” He said simply. Rei recorded that and felt like exploding.
“vultures would eat on me?!” Rei said furious. Kai blinked once with a uncaring stare.
“duh, as helpless as you are I ain’t surprised.” Rei growled as he made fists and jumped off the bed, not really noticing his body could not handle it at the moment. He lowered through his legs leaning on one knee his head faced down and he felt, pain. Kai just stared down at him.
“Weakling.”
“Get out!” Rei answered to that almost instantly.
“excuse me?” Kai answered. Rei said nothing as he stood back onto his feet, and now moved his face to look back up at him.
“I said, get out.” The raven now said calmly. It was silent in the room, it was unbearable and rising. Then Kai stepped forward and walked pas Rei roughly jamming his shoulder pas Rei’s so he fell onto the bed. The pissed of dual hair walked on until Rei only heard the door fall shut very forcefully. Rei sighed deeply as he fell back down on the bed, he let his mind wander as he sat up quickly and realized what he had just done.

“he.. helped me?” Rei said to himself Rei stood up again, with more self control this time and walked to the window. The male in the black leather motor suit was already outside starting his bike when Rei saw him. The male outside didn’t even look up one time as he drove away In the distance towards the garage. Rei sighed softly as he turned away, he knew the party was still going on but he was not feeling like going back. Not at all, his body was sore, again, and his conscious was starting to catch up with him. He was down as he slide his hand through his messy hair, this was not going good at all. He was getting edgy and careless. What was happening to him? He was always very organized and his mind was always calm. But now everything was a mess and his mind was never as blurry as it was now. He needed to get things straight again, like it was before everything started to move out of order. He knew how he could do that, and he would also.
“but first! A shower, I smell like mud!”

Tala had already put away his bike and all and was waiting patiently for his friend inside the garage. The redhead was leaning against his bike with his arms crossed and eyes closed as he thought. He was waiting for some time now and thoughts where going through his mind, that Kai and that loser alone maybe wasn’t such a good idea. Tala knew Kai well, for since they where just little kids. And he also knew that when Kai heard some one was about to enter there group he was not happy, not happy at all. For a fact, no one was. And when Kai was angry, well then you better watch out. He may look like the silent type but hell he can be strong. Lets not forget intimidating if it gets to it, a single glare from the dual was mostly enough to shut people up. Only persons who actually fought against him sometimes came close to actually human with brains in his eyes. Also that was the reason why everyone respected him, he had a though grip in authority.
On that moment the main door started to slide up and the black motorcycle drove inside, stopping next to the blood red bike and shutting his own off. The dual hair stepped off the bike and put of the helmet, setting his hair free. The look on his face was not really pleasant, well hard to read. For Tala it wasn’t, he was used to it and got to know Kai much better then other people.
“Something went wrong.” The redhead stated more then he questioned it, like he thought out loud. Kai gave him a cold stare and walked on after locking his bike up. As he walked pass the redhead he just fallowed him with only his eyes.
“like I thought, should I go and finish the job which Brooklyn and Garland started?” Tala brought to the dual not moving away from his bike. Tala was curious in something, he knew the older male would not slip anything so easily. But in reaction he got more than simple words. Kai stopped walking as he didn’t turn but just stood there. Tala stared at the dual’s back and Kai could feel it, he thought in how he should answer as the redhead waited patiently.
“Do whatever you wish,” he started. “Spares me the trouble.” He said simply in a cold answer, like he usually did. Kai walked on and disappeared outside through the single door and let it close normally, leaving Tala alone and in thought of what he just heard. He moved away from his bike and grabbed the suitcase he was received as main reason why they left tonight, anyway.
‘Kai is acting rather, strange lately for what I can tell… and the main reason for that, better watch it.’ Tala thought as he narrowed his eyes. The way he thought it was not really clearly understandable if he had said it… did he mean it threatening or as a warning for that same person? He was done there and so he shut down the lights and cleared away from the room himself…

‘BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!’

“AAHH! What!? Where?! Huh..?” Rei quickly shut up his alarm clock as he stretched and yawned widely. He kicked the blankets away and stood up with a yawn.
“morning already?” he said softly as he walked towards his window and popped his head through the curtains feeling the sun sting his eyes.
“waaahh! My eyes! My eyes are burning!” he ran back into his room and into the bathroom, there he did the shower on and would start his morning routine.
Yesterday he had no classes at all, he didn’t know if it was usual or for the fact the entire school had a hangover from the party. And also the school ground was a total mess, he didn’t even bother to get out of his room yesterday. He was to tired and hurt to move anyway, so he slept almost all day long. And it helped to! Luckily he was a quick healer and most of his bruised muscles where really feeling better, he still had to take it easy though. And his face was still pretty scarred up to, but that would disappear eventually. But even though he healed fast, the pain in his right upper leg was still there.. he didn’t understand, maybe he hit that table in a really wrong way? The injury seriously took long to fade completely… maybe it would always stay there? Rei sure hoped not.. but now it was Wednesday and time for school, and the day he would have to face the entire band again. It was something that haunted him in the back of his mind, like a curse. But the neko promised himself he would get things back in order again! And he would do so, starting today.
The long black haired Neko-jinn got out of the hot steamy shower and wrapped a towel around his slime, yet still muscled body. He walked out of the room and into the much colder hall, his skin got goose bumps and of the sudden cold attacking him his nipples got hard. Rei felt that, obviously, and got a petite pink blush which he refused to look down at and quickly walk back into his bedroom to get dressed.
When he was done with that he wore black trousers with a white shirt and a grey sweater on top of it, which was unzipped. He had put his hair in traditional style and was all set to go with his book bag all ready. He walked back into his living room and on to the kitchen, he poured himself some milk and grabbed a nice red apple. After downing the milk he did on his shoes and jacked, as he did not forget his cell phone or key’s. he stood up and opened the door, shutting down the lights and closing it behind him as he walked with a decent smile of satisfaction. This was going to be a good day, he hoped.

Rei was walking inside the school building and was on his way for Geography. He was good in time and wouldn’t be late today, Raul and Miguel where in that class to. He still needed to explain why he suddenly disappeared at the party, they probably where worried.
He walked inside the room and took place next to his friends, who gave him a burning look of expectations.
“you’ve got allot to explain! Do you know how worried we where?!” Raul half shouted through the classroom, letting a few people look up. Raul smiled nervously at it and continued softly.
“where were you? You suddenly disappeared!” he said sternly as Rei thought about what he should say to his friends, if he would tell the truth, they would be even more worried then they where right now and Raul send out of class because of his shouting temper. Rei scratched his head with a finger as he looked up and thought.
“Rei, did something happen?” Miguel questioned. Rei gave a look and after studying his friends briefly he decided to just lie.
“Not at all actually, I was with.. uhh some one and started to dance, then I wandered off and I couldn’t find anyone anymore. So I just decided to have a good time on my own.” Rei made up making it sound like the truth, everyone would fall for it when he lied with self confidence. The redhead and blonde just stared at him as they accepted that answer.
“ohh, okay. If that is what happened I’m sure we had nothing to worry about.. and yesterday? Where were you then? I phoned you a couple of times but you simply didn’t answer.” Rei blinked.
“my phone?” he dug his hand in his pocket to grab his cell phone and flip open the top, indeed a few missed calls of Raul.
‘odd I didn’t notice that before, I must have slept deeply..’ Rei though in himself as he erased the calls and turned his attention back to his friends.
“yeah, I slept all day yesterday, uhh I had a huge hangover.” He said again with that same tone. “ohh.” Both his friends said in stereo.

“Hey Rei me mate!” suddenly sounded from behind the raven haired neko as he got trapped in a unexpected headlock. Rei made a funny sound and tried to turn, but got twisted in the lock.
“Michael! Let go! You’re choking me!” the long blonde let go as Rei breathed again.
“Sorry mate, how did you know it was me?” Michael asked the half red raven haired boy.
“because, Michael, you’re the only I know capable of saying ‘mate’ in every line.” Rei said with a sigh as he sat back down properly in his seat. The blonde blinked at it and sat down next to Rei.
“you know mate, you’re right! Aw well, a habit.”
“yeah I know.” Rei answered and just on that moment the teacher Geography walked in with his briefcase and put it down on the desk after closing the classroom door behind him.
The lesson began with working in your work book silently, after fifteen minutes the teacher called and started an open talk about the culture of Russia. Everyone was ordered to pay attention but like usually, Rei was not.
He was doodling in his work book, and he had not written a single correct answer either. He had his hand set under his chin as he stared blankly at the school board, which the teacher wrote something on once in a while.
He was far away with his mind, why did he lie to his friends? Why didn’t he just tell them the truth? It was not like he didn’t want to.. no, he just didn’t want to alarm them of anything! Right? He sighed softly without he knew himself doing it, he wasn’t aware of himself daydreaming as well. Then he thought about last night..
“Mr. Kon?”
Why did that bastard bring him back to his room? ‘I thought he didn’t care..’ Rei thought dazedly. Agh! He just did it for his own good probably, so Rei wouldn’t tell him about what his friends did to him!
“Mr. Kon?!”
Rei was still hurting because of it! Those bastards! Why do they always have to pick on him!.. ‘But it was still kind that he did so..’
“MR, KON!” Rei finally shot op, well actually fell from his seat onto the ground, because his teacher shouted in his ear and slapped on his desk with a wooden stick. Rei looked up with a little pale face as he saw the mad facial expression of his teacher.
“Can you tell me what I was talking about Mr. Kon?” The teacher said with an evil stare saying, ‘wrong-and-you’re-mine’ Rei gulped at it and his eyes moved swiftly in every direction for an answer. Then his eyes where set on the board with ‘Russia’ on it.
“Russia!” Rei blurted out with nervous smile. The teacher narrowed his eyes, and because he was wearing glasses, enlarging the glare Rei was receiving.

“And now, In what year did Russia became as the socialistically Federative Soviet Republic the core of the Soviet-Union?” The teacher asked with a snakelike venomous tone. Rei simply didn’t know! He didn’t know a thing about Russia or what so ever. Rei was looking around the class for help but they all seemed to have as clueless look as he had. Rei was still sitting onto the ground on his bum and opened his mouth to say something.

“From the year 1917 up to 1991.” Spoke a clear voice from up frond in the classroom. The entire class looked up to see who said so and so did the teacher with an surprised face. Rei popped his face up above his desk to see a pale skinned, blue eyed redhead standing in frond of the class with crossed arms and a stare at the teacher. Rei’s eyes widened.
‘WHAT?!’ He thought bewildered. ‘What is HE doing here?!’
“Mister Ivanov, I don’t remember teaching you right now. But yes, that answer is correct. How can I help you? so I can go on fast.” Tala didn’t have to think that over. He extended his hand showing a small note. The teacher moved away from Rei and walked towards the redhead, he grabbed the note and started to scan it over. Rei in the meantime stood up and patted his clothes clean. After reading the note the teacher spoke without taking his eyes of the note.
“Kon, your mentor wants to speak to you. Tala will bring you to him, take your stuff with you.” Rei blinked with confusion.

‘wants to talk to me? Oh no.. did he find out some how? Tala doesn’t look to happy… not that he ever does, but..’ Rei gave Tala a fast look, the redhead wasn’t looking to well, he skin was even paler then before and he had bags under his eyes with dark circles under them. His presence wasn’t as powerful as it was a few days ago but still no one wanted to mess with him. Rei put his books and pencils in his bag and closed it, hang it over his shoulder and then Tala had already moved towards the door. Rei wanted to get away from this man, but he didn’t want to fallow the redhead either. Guess he had no choice. Tala had already left the room when Rei wanted to do the same but heard.
“A twenty page assignment about Russia, Mr. Kon. By next lesson, good day. mister Kon.” The door just fell shut behind Rei and his head hang down.
“just my luck…” He muttered softly looking down as he walked after the redhead. The raven haired student sighed softly as he looked up a bit, his eyes widened when he suddenly was grabbed at the frond of his shirt and thrown against the wall, and held there. Rei grunted at it.

“Hey! What gives!” Rei said to the sternly looking redhead, Rei wrapped his hands around Tala’s wrists trying to break free, but Tala only hang him higher against the wall.
“Listen loser! Stop drawing attention to yourself! Or-get-lost! We don’t like you, people at this school don’t like you and the teachers don’t like you. Haven’t figured that out yet? You’re an outcast of an filthy breed and you’re getting involved in things that you are not supposed to be in!” Tala spoke with teeth clenched together, his eyes where furry and Rei simply didn’t understand. He stared down at the redhead with confusion in his eyes, and he saw that Tala got that point because he wasn’t saying anything anymore. The it seemed like Tala got some kind of ‘pain’ attack out of no where and let go or Rei, resulting in the raven haired boy to fall down square on his ass, again.
“Auwch..” Rei said softly closing one eyes, he saw Tala stumble back and holding his head with one hand as he leaned with his back against the wall. Rei quickly stood up and walked over to him.
“Hey, are you okay?” Rei said, surprisingly, worried as he put a hand on his shoulder. Tala quickly reacted by slapping it away.
“Get your paws off of me!” The redhead said harshly, but that shouting was not helping. in fact, it only seemed to get worse. Tala grunted now with pain, and Rei assumed that he wasn’t often brought down to exposing his pain.. so this had to be bad.
“should I get you some help?” Rei offered trying to get a hold of the situation.
“NO! just stay away from Kai!” Tala shouted as he gave Rei a push and ran pass him through the hallway.
“Hey wait!” Rei ran after him but on that same moment the bell rang and all doors flew open. The hall start to fill up and Tala disappeared from his sight, Rei tried to get through the maze but it was a unbegon task. So Rei gave up on it.
‘what was that all about? Stay away from Kai?’ Rei repeated to himself as he stared at the trail the redhead had disappeared off to.

Tala had been running as long as he could, until he could get no further. He reached his dorm room and slammed the door shut behind him. He was out of breath and his entire world was spinning, he lost balance and fell onto the ground in frond of the door, he tried to get up but gravity was not helping him. So he stayed there and closed his eyes, he hated the period after… but he just couldn’t help it. Then, like the person up there hated him today, there was a knock on the door.
“Tala? I know you’re in there, open up.” It was Ronin. ‘Ohh crap.’ Tala thought sarcastically as he used all his strength to lift himself up his legs. He ruffled his hair a bit and sighed. Then he opened the door to face his teacher, who didn’t look to happy.
“Ronin.” Tala said instead of an, ‘hello’.
“Tala.” Ronin copied. “We need to talk, and I think you know about what. I thought we made an agreement, I am, very disappointed in you, Tala..” Ronin said indeed very disappointed. Tala didn’t really care, but did about the agreement he had made a few weeks ago with his teacher. So he let him inside for his so called ‘talk’ and as the door closed his conscious was finally starting to work on him.

The day was finally over for Rei as he gratefully closed his dorm room door and let out a sigh of relieve. He walked on into his living room and fell down on the couch with another sigh. He had dropped his bag onto the floor and his head was hanging on the back of the couch. It was simple silence in the room, he was tired and it was only 20:00 p.m… Rei opened his eyes as he stretched his limbs.
“mehh, another day behind me. An odd day though.” He said to himself as he stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
“That Tala guy is really strange, then he looks like he is going to slam my brains out and then he has some kind of pain attack, I try to help him and then he makes a run for it!” He muttered to himself as he opened some cupboards to grab something to eat.
“Actually, all those guys are strange, they beat me up, curse at me, laugh at me,… I think they would be happy if they hear I’m dead!” Rei almost cursed at the thought people could be such… bastards.
“I suppose I’m the perfect target for them.. I’m youngest, smallest, smartest, strongest I am simply hot and next time they try something I’ll take drastic measures!...” He stood in one place as he stared down at a soda can.
“Who am I kidding… They can mess around with me whenever they want, and there is no one who cares… that isn’t true, but no one who can help me without having trouble themselves..” Rei sighed against with pity for himself.
“aww well.” He said simply as he grabbed the can and opened it, he took a few large swallows until he heard some noise out of his living room. Rei blinked.
“hm?” He quickly swallowed the last zip and ran into his living room, grabbing his jacket from the sofa and grabbing his phone. Rei moved the frond up.
“Unknown number?” He thought it over and just took the call, it could be one to change his life out of a million ones.

/”Hello?”/ Rei said questioning.
”Rei? Its me Ronin, I’m glad I got your number!”
/”Uhm, yeah. How did you get it?”/
”Ohh its registered in the computer under your file, you gave us your number when you signed in remember?” Rei thought about it for a moment.
/”oh yeah! I remember, okay classified right?”/
”Yeah, I was meaning to ask you something Rei.” Ronin said in a slightly different tone.
/”Okay, ask away.”/
”Let me finish, since you’re new in the band its traditional to go out ones in a while with the whole band to create a bond between the members. Like just hanging out some where, also to get to know each other better. I know you don’t get along well with them but that’s why we have those nights out. So you can get used to each other!”
Rei felt the blood boil up to his head, his heartbeat was raising and his hand palms where sweaty. At both ends it was silent, Rei could hear a TV at the other end with Ronin and that was the only sound.
”Rei? Still alive?”
/”WHAT?! They’ll kill me! I’ll never survive! I’m to young to die! What if they poison me! Or push me in frond of a car! Tie me up and throw me off a bridge into a river! Nooo!”/ Rei was half panicking over there as he was walking around in circles around his couch.
”Rei Rei Rei Rei Rie Rei, Rei. Calm down. I’ll be there to. And if you end up choking, under a car or drowning under a bridge, I’ll call 911.”
/”meep?”/ Rei said using a high voice. At the other line he heard Ronin laugh loudly.
/”Sigh! When is it anyway?”/
”Oh didn’t I tell you? We’ve planned a trip for tonight! And you’re tagging along with us! We leave at 22:00 in frond of the garage.” There was a loud bang and some rumble at the phone.
”Rei? You still there? Helloo!”
Rei in fact laid on the floor twitching and the phone next to him calling his name.
“why me! Why meheheee!” Rei cried out as he now only had an hour and a half left to prepare for the night, that could be his last.

”Reiii! Pick up the phone! Rei?!”


“Aaaand cut!” That’s another rap people! XD coowl isn’t it! And even more questions are made, what is wrong with Tala? And will Kai ever forgive Rei for his ruthless behaviour? Will Rei ever talk to those people normally without having been thrown to a wall first? And what’s up with that Michael dude? Will Miguel and Raul ever stop worrying? And will I ever upload within a month? Find out next time you you must NOT miss that chapter! I guarantee you people will like ittt! *0*
