I do not own Gundam Wing/AC, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
The Preparations for a Party
Summary: We get a …nothing but endless foreshadowing
Pairings: Q-man + Wu-man, Hee-chan + Wu-man, and maybe some foreshadowing of two more famous pairings….
Disclaimer: If I owned GW, I wouldn’t waste my time writing no fanfics. I’d be trying to make up for a crappy series like Gundam seed…and 0083, except the theme song oh and 008 th teams song…. “I gotta burning love! (burning love)….” “Just wild beat, communication...” Anyone like the Gundam Seed music? TM Revolution and Nami Tamaki?
Warning: You’re on aff.net, guess what sort of rating this COULD have

Dancing For Your Love
Chapter 14
Preparations for a Party
Heero watched the door nervously as he listened to the clock tick away. He figured Wufei would be home soon and he could finally get this whole thing over with. Parties and social functions really weren’t his thing and being the special guest at a gathering with executives certainly wasn’t going to be his idea of a good time. He nodded once, strengthening his convictions. When Wufei came in he’d ask him point blank and be shot down just as fast.
Just as Heero was about to begin his mantra aloud, the door flew open and Wufei came charging in. He took one look at Heero and curled his lip, disgusted.
“And just what the hell are you sitting around for?! Aren’t you supposed to be cooking for me or something?”
Heero swallowed and stood up. He went over to his Asian lover shyly. “Ah…Wufei…”
“What?” Wufei was barely keeping the growl from his throat. How dare that blond bitch thwart him? And for a simple child of all things?! “What?”
The brunette decided to act fast. He could see Wufei’s patience and good temper running out fast. “There’s a company party that I was invited to by the boss. I really don’t want to go, but I was invited personally you see in front of everyone and all the other executives of the companies will be there and—.”
Wufei cut him off. “So go. I don’t care. You’re worthless around here anyway.”
The Chinese man then pushed past him and went into the bed room. Heero remained standing there, quite shocked.
After a few moments he went into the bedroom. “Wu-wufei? You’re…letting me go out?”
“Why wouldn’t I? No one’s going to bother with you except me. You’re no prize so get over your self.”
“Yeah…” He murmured uneasily.
Wufei began to take off his shirt when he noticed Heero was still standing around. “Aren’t you going to get ready? You’re going aren’t you?”
The quiet young man nodded slowly and began to get his things together for a shower. The idea that Wufei found him that worthless hurt him more than the raven haired Asian would ever know.

Zechs set up the bar in the main room with a sigh. Duo really seemed bother by this whole ordeal. Maybe he would buy him a devil ducky plushy later to raise his spirits.
As he set out bottle after bottle and took notice of some of the fine liquor already available, he found himself being mildly impressed. Not too many wealthy folks had bars this well stocked. While he had brought many types of vodkas and whiskeys, the owner had many fine brandies, and even Amaretto as well as many finely aged wines. He let out a soft gasp of surprise as he noticed a bottle of red wine that was dated at 1825.
“Do my stores impress you?”
Zechs looked up and was confronted by a set of deep, Prussian blue eyes. He blinked once and caught his mouth before it fell open.
“Well, yes…I mean, I’m just a bartender for…for the club, but I know my booze and this stuff is very top quality.” The blond gave and uneasy smile and reached for a glass to shine.
The man smiled and Zechs found himself getting a little hot under the collar. Suddenly, the work uniform he had worn for all these years felt like rags in comparison with the man’s finely tailored suit.
“How old are you?” the man asked, looking Zechs right in his own set of blue eyes.
“Twenty…twenty-six, um, sir?”
The man laughed. “Sir was my father’s name. My name is Treize Kushranada. And you? How may I address you?”
“Zechs…Merquise.” Zechs thrust his hand forward. “Nice to meet you Mr. Kushranada.”
Treize laughed the humor making his eyes sparkle and took Zechs’s hand in a firm grip. “It’s Treize if you please. And nice to meet you as well Zechs. I hope you enjoy the party.”
The blond gave a dumb nod and watched Treize float away. He began to polish glasses like crazy, hoping that the shine of his glasses would some how impress his new acquaintance.
Meanwhile, Duo put on one of his more conservative costumes in preparation for the party. As he put in the stiff white collar that completed his priest outfit he let loose a sigh. He’d better get a bonus for doing this shit.

Heero looked in the closet and frowned. He didn’t have many clothes that were suited to going to a party like this one. He stared at the naked hangers in his closet and got a sinking feeling. And what was worse, Wufei was still in the bed room, staring at him. He could feel his eyes burning at his back.
He turned around and looked at his boyfriend, hoping to get some advice. “Wufei…what should I wear?”
“Just put on a shirt and tie like always Heero. It isn’t my fault you have no fucking clothes. What the hell do you do with all your money any how?”
The brunette flinched at this, holding back his response. //I spend it all on you Wufei…how else do you think you got those authentic Chinese shirts and all that expensive jewelry…//
He held his tongue and turned back to the closet. He took out a black suit that looked more like funeral attire than party attire and proceeded to put it on. When he was done, he slowly tied the black and grey tie he had received from Wufei prior to high school graduation. He turned to his lover and gave him a soft smile.
“How do I look?”
The Asian wasn’t even looking at him, but reading a thin red bound book. “Nice.” He grunted, not even looking up once.
The Japanese youth shook his head and put a smile in his voice he didn’t feel. “Come on Baby, you didn’t even look. Look what I’m wearing.”
Wufei glanced up and looked him over. He shrugged. “You look fine. Now hurry or you’ll be late. If you get fired I won’t support you forever.” He then went back to his book.
The brunette left the room quickly, his shined shoes crossing the hard wood soundlessly. He closed the door then ripped off the tie. He grabbed his keys and left the apartment.
