Dorothy\'s been making eyes at me all day. It\'s kind of creepy, only kind of. I\'m not sure if I should talk to her about proper behavior in the work place; that, and the fact that I kissed her. I really should talk to her, after I finish this paperwork.
1:15pm
I just got back from lunch with Dorothy, and we set some rules, just in case we start dating. One is no alluding to outside activity in the office. Another is no public displays of affection. Basically I\'m trying to save her from losing her job. I can\'t lose mine. I\'m the boss\'s son. Nepotism creates job security, especially if you\'re going to take over the company someday. But I digress.
I kissed her again though. It was better than I remembered, which is good. \'Cause it means that I like girls. I even got hard from it, which is a very good thing. Maybe she\'s that special someone that I\'ve been waiting for. I wonder what sex is really like. Better than masturbating I bet. Then again, it\'s not a hand, and that\'s where it\'s supposed to go.
But anyway. I think that I might be able to have a relationship with her, which\'ll last longer than a week. She was hinting that she\'d like that too. I think that\'s what she was doing. I\'m not sure.

Duo called again. He wanted to talk to Dorothy, again. About Heero, again. I told him he couldn\'t, but then she walked in and now they\'re on my phone, discussing Duo\'s love life, or lack thereof, and how he didn\'t fuck it up with Heero, even though Heero now thinks Duo\'s straight. It\'s a whole big mess. I think we should just scrap the idea and leave it at that. Oh holy fuck. Heero just walked in.

Okay, so I just got home after an afternoon of messes. When Heero walked in, Dorothy transferred the call to her desk and told the Japanese man to stay there with me. The second she was out of the door, he looked at me with incredibly impassive eyes and said, \"He hates me doesn\'t he?\"
\"He\'s not sure about you. You haven\'t been very nice to Relena.\"
\"I thought being a jerk would make her leave. It didn\'t work.\"
\"No she\'s actually kind of a glutton for punishment. So, do you really like him?\"
\"No, I think I\'m in love with him.\"
\"What?\" Needless to say I was a little shocked at this. In love!?! They\'d only met twice.
\"I used to think that love arst rst sight was bullshit, but that day at work, when he kissed Relena, I saw him before she came out, waiting for her, and I don\'t know. I felt like I found the other half of me. It\'s hard to explain. Then he kissed her, and I felt my chest hurt. I wanted that to be me. I hoped to God he was the one Dorothy had set me up with. And then he was, and he turned to leave…\" There was the slightest hint of hurt creeping into his voice.
\"You know, even when he\'s convinced that you\'re gay, he might not give you a chance, unless you don\'t give him the option. He\'s kind of hardheaded and very loyal, and until Lena gives him the go ahead, he may wait. But if it makes you feel any better, he\'s got it as bad as you. In fact that\'s who Dorothy\'s talking to right now.\" I gave him my most heartfelt smile.
\"Just have a little patience, he\'ll make it worth your wait.\"
\"You\'ve known him for a while haven\'t you?\"
\"Since we were eighteen.\"
\"What\'s he like?\"
\"He\'s the smartest idiot you\'ll ever meet, and the nicest guy, but don\'t mess with his friends. There\'s a reason he was called Shinigami when he was a kid. And he needs someone nice to help him realize why he should be loved. There\'s too many pricks out there, and he\'s found them all.\" His eyes narrowed at those last words, and it was scary. Almost like he wanted to kill everyone that had ever hurt Duo. Oh yes, he\'d do well for my best friend, very well. \"No he hasn\'t told us their names, at least not the last ones, or Wufei and I would have tracked them down a long time ago. He\'s a kind soul, and doesn\'t need the bullshit people have put him through.\"
\"I could tell.\"
\"You really do love him, don\'t you?\"
\"Treize says I do.\"
\"You talk to your boss about this?\"
\"He\'s also my friend. He and Une are the happiest couple I\'ve ever seen. I want that.\"
\"We all do.\"
\"So, do you like Dorothy?\"
\"Turn the tables huh?\"
\"Hn.\"
\"I\'d never expect you to talk this much. Lena said you were pretty stoic.\"
\"If there\'s something to talk about, I talk. I don\'t have anything to talk with her about.\"
\"Seems simple enough. She is pretty nice, when you do speak with her.\"
\"n\'tn\'t like politicians.\"
\"Bou wou work for one.\"
\"He\'s not a politician. He got forced into it.\"
\"But he\'s good at what he does.\"
\"That\'s not all he does.\" Heero smirked at this point. It was kind of frightening and kind of cute. \"Treize grows roses.\"
\"Really. That\'s amazing. Lena has some hobbies too, although most of them include a bottle of alcohol.\"
\"So how about you and Dorothy?\"
\"Back to that again. I don\'t know. I like her, but I\'m not sure.\"
\"About what?\"
\"I work with her.\"
\"That\'s an excuse.\"
\"That excuse could get her fired.\"
\"Good excuse.\"
\"Yeah. Why do you ask?\"
\"You kissed her.\"

\"Do you normally kiss women you work with?\"
\"Did she happen to tell you I was drunk?\"
\"Only the first time.\"
\"You know about…\" He smirked again. He really did look good when he smirked. Duo would be melting. \"So you and Dorothy are good friends?\"
\"She likes to have gay men around. She is a self-proclaimed fag hag.\"
\"New or old definition?\"
\"Old.\"
\"Figures. So why is she after me then?\" He smirked yet again. \"You should try smiling at Duo. He\'d melt.\"
\"I\'ll have to try that.\"

I just got back from dinner with Dorothy. It was a \'planning session\' as she called it, but basically I ended up taking her home and spending the next hour kissing her good night. Obviously I liked it, to have done it for so long, but I can\'t help but k thk there\'s something missing. I\'m not sure why I get that feeling, but I do.
