Unexpected Guests

A/N: This one takes place a month after the propositions cookie. It was a request on LJ, and I took some creative license with it.

Unexpected Guests

“Remember that conversation we had?” Aideen said, her voice low and breathy in Fletcher’s ear. The slightly taller man turned to his wife, eyebrow raised. “Oh, don’t do that,” she said, smacking him on the shoulder. “You remind me of my fathers when you give me that look.”

Fletcher chuckled turning fully around and wrapping his thin arms around his wife. “I can’t help it. Do I ‘remember that conversation we had?’ Really, Aideen,” he said, leaning down to kiss at her neck. “We’ve been going at it like rabbits trying to bring an addition into our family. Do you really think I’ve forgotten?”

“I was just thinking, though,” she said, “that maybe we should be a little adventurous about things.”

“In other words, you’re getting bored.”

“Well…” she said. “I know they say that certain positions and conditions are supposed to be optimal, but from what I understand, Nicholas and I were conceived on the floor of a tent and my cousin Sasha on the sofa in our house.”

Fletcher looked a little disturbed. “Why on earth does your family share these things?”

“Have you met my fathers? The men who traumatized Nicholas because they were so busy… well… they forgot to lock the door.”

The blond found himself laughing lightly at his brother-in-law’s expense. “That explains a lot about Nicholas.”

“Doesn’t it, though?” she said, pulling away and sitting atop their kitchen table.

“Here?” Fletcher asked.

“Why not?” She grabbed hold of his sweater and pulled him closer. “We haven’t gotten to break the table in, so to speak. The kids are with Rose and Alex. The front door is locked. What excuse can you give me?”

“I think you covered it all,” her husband said, unbuttoning her shirt.

Roy Mustang went up the front steps of his daughter’s house. He had found a new book while he’d been visiting the former prime minister in Creta. It talked about western alchemic techniques, and the moment he’d seen it, he’d thought of Aideen. She’d been studying a good bit about the east and even Ishbal’s alchemy, and he thought this would be a new realm for her.

When he reached the front door, he saw it was locked. Though he thought he saw a few lights on inside, he decided that if Aideen wasn’t home, he’d just leave the book inside. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a set of keys. There was the faintest sound of movement coming from inside, and Roy realized that someone was definitely inside. Most likely, it was Fletcher, and as Roy started to unlock the door, he definitely could hear the alchemist’s voice, but what was being said really wasn’t clear.

The door now unlocked, Roy opened it and stepped just past the threshold before he got a direct shot of the kitchen and Fletcher standing in front of the kitchen table, naked. Roy dropped the book as his mind registered there was a pair of pale legs wrapped around the thin man’s hips and just a moment before, when Roy’s presence was still unknown, Fletcher had been pistoning into the body stretched across the kitchen table.

Roy couldn’t see the woman’s face, but for the first time since his daughter had entered this relationship with the plant alchemist, Roy really hoped Fletcher was cheating on her. For his own sake, the fuhrer hoped that it wasn’t his daughter’s body he was seeing on the table, covered in sweat and nothing else.

“Roy?” Fletcher asked. And then, the woman sat up, the woman who was definitely his daughter.

“Papa!” she said, sounding as mortified as Roy felt.

“Oh, damn it!” Roy said, wishing that Frank Archer had shot both his eyes out as he made a quick retreat from the house.

“You didn’t even knock?” Raine asked him.

“They gave me a key,” the man said, his whole demeanor and voice deflated, and still wishing there was a way to wash away that image from his remaining eye.

“But you should still knock first, as a warning,” Raine said, setting a cup of coffee in front of him. “Haven’t you noticed that I do that before I come to your house?” She sat down opposite him at the table, her own cup of black coffee in front of her. “You know, I just realized that you don’t knock when you come in here either.” She blew on the cup of coffee. “What on earth would you do if you had seen Vato and I on this table?”

And with those words, the cup of scalding hot coffee dumped into the fuhrer’s lap as he backed away from the table.

“Oh, we clean it, Roy,” Raine said, her tone chiding.

“I’m going home. I am going home, and I’m locking myself away.”

“Not with a burnt lap you’re not.” Raine pointed upstairs. “Go get changed into a pair of Vato’s pants, and hopefully you won’t be so burned that I have to heal an area I’m not entirely comfortable with.”

“Oh, damn,” Nicholas moaned. “What the hell is that thing?”

“It’s a vi-ibrator,” Victor answered as the blond flicked the button connected to the one currently lodged inside of the dark-haired man, who still held his finger on the button to Nicholas’s. Both men were standing by only will alone, but it was Nicholas who finally collapsed to his knees at the sensation, dropping the controller to Victor’s, which now hung by its wire. “Who invented… this? I want to thank them.”

“Not before… I do.”

Victor then did something to the controller he still held in his hand, speeding up the one inside of Nicholas. “Bastard,” the blond managed through gritted teeth.

“It’s your fault you dropped yours,” Victor said smugly.

With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Nicholas managed to raise himself to his knees in front of Victor, taking the other man into his mouth.

“That’s cheating.”

“Hm-mmm,” Nicholas hummed the negative even as he continued to moan, a small part of his mind wondering what things would be like once they added Nina into the mix, then quickly putting those thoughts to rest, as she had only been dating the two men for a month.

“Aaah, it i-is too!”

Ed laughed at the phone call he’d received from Raine. Apparently, Roy had spilt coffee on himself over a comment about Raine and Falman. Raine said he wasn’t burned bad enough to be healed or even let her see how bad it was, but that he’d need some of the analgesic cream she’d loaned Nicholas after he’d gotten a nasty burn from a backfire of his fire alchemy.

Ed had been let into the building by the doorman with no issues and was on his way through the hall. He made his way to the door he was looking for and knocked, but got no answer. He opened the door with the key he’d been given by his son. When Ed heard a scream, sounding like it was being torn from Nicholas’s throat, he ran to the bedroom, only to find the sight of his son mid-climax, head thrown back, eyes closed. Victor appeared to have already been spent.

Ed, however, just cried out loudly, “Shit!” and covered his eyes.

The next day, Nikki looked up at her parents. “Mom, why do Granddad and Grandpa turn red when they look at you and Uncle Nicholas and why do all of you turn red when you look at them?”

The family was having their regular Sunday dinner together, and neither of the two patriarchs seemed capable of making eye contact with their children.

“It’s an adult thing,” her uncle told her.

“You’ll understand when you get older,” her mom said.

Nikki still looked around the table like there was a puzzle to solve, but accepted she wasn’t going to be getting any answers from the grown-ups at the table.
