Round 15
Disclaimer: I don’t own DB/Z/GT or any of the characters found in this fic. They are the property of TOEI ANIMATION in Japan and FUNimation in the U.S.A.
I also do not own the song or lyrics One Night in Bangkok by Murry Head.
I had no idea that the song was actually part of a larger stage show named ‘Chess’ written by Benny Andersson, Bjor Ulvaeus and Tim Rice. Which I own no rights to either.
I am not making any money from this work of fanfiction.
A/N- This is actually a G/V get together fic. However, some of the other pairings may surprise you. :) I think there’s only one cannon couple in here. Obviously VERY A/U.
I hope this is a fun read for anyone who may be interested in such a combination. (DBZ/chess (the game, not the play.))
Beta’d by Hoshi. Thank you Hoshi! (And thanks to Pixelgoddess, rdk and chibi_vegeta for catching a few others).
Rating – PG13 – or at least that’s what I was hoping for.
Warnings – OOC, A/U, mentions and kisses of M/M, mentions and kisses of M/F, chess, foul language, some minor roles of OC’s.
Maegerkawaii - :) I’m glad you liked their performance! *drools thinking about what those two could communicate with just gestures and chess pieces* Just a two more updates. :( The story is almost to its conclusion.
ANZ! :D Thank you so much! I knew you’d enjoy it…if I ever managed to getting around to writing it!
Round 15
The sunrise reminds me of the sky at home,” Radditz mentioned quietly.
Chichi tried to hide a yawn behind her hand. She didn’t realize how long she and Radditz had been up talking, mostly him telling her about his home planet. “How’s that?” she asked. She stood and walked over to the window Radditz was staring out of at a gesture from him.
“Red,” Radditz said. He tensed up momentarily as Chichi’s arm slipped around his hips – not having expected the contact – and then relaxed when she didn’t hurt his tail.
“Mmmm, very pretty,” Chichi said, and then yawned again.
Radditz chuckled. “I think we both need some sleep, don’t you?”
“I just don’t want this to end,” Chichi admitted tiredly.
Radditz turned to face the princess. “It doesn’t have to…”
Chichi smiled, “I know…” she yawned once more.
Radditz shook his head, even though Chichi wouldn’t see the gesture with her eyes closed. “But we do need a break. Get some sleep. We’ll both be better able to talk about this with some rest.”
Chichi tugged on Radditz’ shirtfront to get him to bend down, and then kissed him on the lips. “Okay – but you’d better be here when I wake up. We have a lot to discuss if we’re really going to make this happen.”
“Of course.”

Bulma smiled as Eddie came into the bathroom. The Jacuzzi tub she sat in was wonderful – she’d have to remember this for any future visits. The shower in the room she and Goku had been sharing wasn’t near as nice. She smiled mischievously as he slipped the robe off his shoulders. “You’re not going to wear those in here, are you?” she asked, pointedly looking at his boxers.
“I didn’t want to presume…” Eddie admitted with a blush.
“Well, if I’m going to be naked, then I expect you to be as well,” Bulma informed him.
Eddie shrugged and took off his boxers before stepping into the warm water, bubbles quickly hiding what the boxers had been moments before as he sat.
Bulma hummed and leaned her head back to rest against the towel she’d placed at the edge of the tub. “This is nice.”
“Yes it is,” Eddie agreed.
Bulma sat up and then shifted over in the tub until she was between Eddie’s legs, then handed a wash clothe over her back. “Scrub my back?” she asked. She shivered as he kissed her bare shoulder.
“My pleasure.”

Yamcha really wished he were dead. The hang over was bad enough. The fact it looked as though he’d fallen asleep next to Nappa made it worse. He liked the guy – but he didn’t like any guys that much. Yamcha tried to comfort himself with the knowledge he was still wearing all of his clothes – including his shoes. He tried to stealthily scoot further down the couch and that’s when his drinking buddy woke with a snort.
It took Nappa a moment to figure out where he was – by the time he managed that most of the rest of the memories from the night before were remembered. He rubbed one of his huge hands over his face, trying to get the muscles to wake up as well before he looked over at Yamcha. His drinking companion looked a little pale. He grinned and stretched. “Relax, you’re pretty, but you ain’t that pretty.”
“Excuse me?” Yamcha almost squeaked – Nappa making any comment about his looks was disconcerting.
“Nothing happened last night, other than a large amount of drinkin’,” Nappa replied before yawning.
Yamcha felt his whole body relax as much as it could without some aspirin. Nappa’s recollection didn’t help with the hangover, but at least Yamcha wasn’t contemplating trying to find a way to chew off his arm just to get out of there. Speaking of which, “Uh – where are we?”

Goku hardly remembered crashing through the hotel room door. The kiss the prince and he were engaged in at the time seemed a whole lot more important. In hindsight it may have been better to have taken the time to have found the room key. Being woken by paparazzi taking pictures of them through the broken frame was a bit disconcerting. “Would you people get the heck out of here?” he growled as he hid his eyes behind the back of his hand from their flashing bulbs.
A low growl sounded behind Goku, preceding the cameras – and what he hoped was the images they’d managed to take – being destroyed. The news people gasped as their equipment crunched like soda cans in an instant. Goku knew it was from a mere thought, but not his thought. “Don’t these people know the meaning of privacy?” Vegeta asked as he sat up.
Goku smiled apologetically over his shoulder at his companion. “Not really,” he answered under his breath.
“Mr. Briefs, care to explain your choice of bed partners?” One brave reporter with a note pad and pen asked. He’d been in Bangkok for a week hoping to be able to report something exciting about the Briefs siblings’ visit to the city. Pictures would have been better, but he surmised in this case a thousand words would have to do.
Goku’s eyes narrowed as he turned his attention back towards the group of people at his door. “Someone in security is getting fired for this,” he said under his breath. He blinked in surprise as Vegeta stood and then walked towards the reporters – naked. A moment later he was standing as well, hoping to stop Vegeta from doing something drastic to them – hurt, maim, kill – only to feel his shoulders relax as Vegeta picked up the door from floor, lifted the lumber into what was still intact of the frame and then used what Goku could only think of as ki rings to hold it in place.
Vegeta turned back towards Goku, smirking and licking his lips. “I didn’t realize the people on this planet were such voyeurs.”
A smile slowly settled on Goku’s lips as he noted with some satisfaction marks he’d left on the prince’s body from earlier in the morning. “They are probably still out there with their ears pressed to the door.”
“Hmmmmm,” Vegeta acknowledged as he crawled across the mattress. “Wonder what they would think of Mr. Briefs screaming in ecstasy.”
“It would probably fuck with their minds,” Goku said as he moved the sheet aside before laying back.
Vegeta settled over the top of Goku. “It will teach them better.”
Goku didn’t respond verbally as the prince’s lips meshed against his.

Krillan yawned and stretched, stilling as soon as he realized there was another body in the bed with him. It hadn’t been a dream! Jane rolled up against him, kissing his shoulder. “Awake so soon?”
Krillan blushed. “There’s something going on outside the door…”
“Hmmmmm,” Jane agreed as she kissed the back of Krillan’s neck. “It’s been going on for about 30 minutes. I would guess it has something to do with our neighbor’s door being knocked down…”
“I don’t remember that,” Krillan said, trying to turn his head so he could look over his shoulder at the blonde behind him. “Which door?”
“It would be the room towards the foot of the bed,” Jane said, tickling her fingers up Krillan’s side.
“That’s Bulma’s and Goku’s room,” Krillan speculated, starting to get up before a surprisingly strong arm around his middle tugged him down.
“I think it’s been taken care of,” Jane suggested with a knowing smirk.
Krillan listened hard – and then wished he hadn’t. Those were sounds of…
“Want to try and drown them out again?” Jane asked.
Flashes of memory of the night before came and Krillan nodded enthusiastically as he turned to face Jane.

True to his word, Radditz was still at the Ox-king’s castle when Chichi woke several hours later. She made a cup of tea while listening to them discuss Vegeta-sei rituals. One in particular made her concerned though. “You’re not really saying in order to marry me you have to fight my father,” she interjected as she sat at the table with them.
Both Radditz and the Ox-king looked over at her guiltily. “Well, we were thinking it would be something strictly ceremonial,” her father finally said.
“Good,” Chichi sipped at her tea. “Beating my father up isn’t really conducive to me wanting to marry a person. Besides, I think it’s brave enough to just ask for my hand in marriage. Was this little ceremony going to be before or during the wedding?”
Radditz cleared his throat before answering, “Well, the fight is just for the right to court you.”
One of Chichi’s eyebrows rose, “Really?” She wondered what exactly courting entailed in Saiyan culture. That could be interesting. What else was interesting was that the way the color rose up from Radditz’ neck then through his face. Usually when people blushed, or at least the ones she knew, the blushing happened all at once.
“Yes, the couple doesn’t actually consider it a mating until there’s offspring involved,” by now Radditz could feel how badly he was blushing. He was glad to see he wasn’t the only one: Chichi and the Ox-king apparently weren’t ready to discuss this topic in each other’s presences.

Telling Vegeta he’d decided to stay on Earth with Chichi wasn’t going to be half as difficult as telling his father – at least, that’s what Radditz thought.
Tracking Vegeta down was another matter. Nappa said he hadn’t heard from their prince since the previous day. Finding the prince was as easy as tapping his scouter to read for a high ki level. When Radditz found two he went to investigate – which he sort of wished he’d called ahead when he ripped the door down in the building to find his prince and his brother in bed…together…not surprising mind you – just awkward.
He was heading back to the house they were renting, still a bit disturbed, when his scouter beeped at him to let him know he had an incoming message. “Radditz here.”
“Hey son,” Bardock’s voice came over loud and clear.
“I was going to call you in a matter of minutes,” Radditz said in surprise.
“No need. Some things have happened around here – so I know about your mating and your brother…”
“What?” Radditz didn’t think anyone’s reconnaissance was that good.
“It’s a little complicated – not to mention unbelievable,” Bardock’s chuckle came over the earpiece.
Radditz didn’t realize he’d stopped mid-flight. “I was going to come back to Vegeta-sei…”
“Don’t bother. Your brother is going to pick up a very handy technique on his way here…”
“Huh?”
“Going to make traveling almost instantaneous.”
“That’s not really possible…” Radditz knew his father was nuts at times, but the idea was silly.
“I didn’t think seeing the future was either…still getting the hang of it. See you in a little over a year.”
Radditz growled as his father terminated the conversation without any more explanation. He didn’t understand the last little comment from his dad at all.
