Chapter 2
Of course it was Trowa who entered the door way, he had used a wave to ride up onto the ships deck. He had just gained the ability to change his fins to legs that year. Also gained powerful abilities to control the waves and wind, the crew had all but been washed off the deck and were clinging desperately to the other side of the ship by the ropes and railings if any where strong enough to hold on. They were shouting many curse words at being swept away by the cold sea water.
Heero grabbed his pistol and tried to shoot at Trowa the bullet aimed true but Trowa lift his hand and made a wave come up quickly the bullet was slowed down by the salty sea water it fell harmlessly to the ground. Then Trowa moved his hand up toward his face bending his arm at the elbow to make the wave turn into a fist then thrust his right hand forward making the arm of water with the fist on it sail a cross the room and punch Heero in the chest sending him into the wall a cross the room with a loud crashing like that of an ocean wave after it crested and fell on the beach to be wash back into the ocean taking land with it.
While Heero was distracted by all of this Trowa scooped his baby brother up and cradled him in his arm without a sound and as he did this Duo’s crown fell to the bed and landed on the wooden floor with a cold clinking sound Trowa was to worried to pick it up or even think about it. He quickly walked out of the captains cabin only to met with a few pirates who managed to climb back aboard the ship but Trowa gave out an ear bleeding cry that made the men drop their guns and cover their ears and also cry in pain.
Duo had covered his ears as well, as Trowa then jumped up on the railing of the ship, and a wave came up to meet him like that of an escalator. Heero managed to get his wits about him and leapt to his feet and ran out of the cabin.
“YE BLOODY FISH!” Heero yelled at Trowa, “YE DOG gone Sea thief give me back what be mine! Ye Pirate!” Heero shock his fist at Trowa and thought almost of jump into the water after them Duo was his now he thought.
Heero ordered the men to get the cannon ready and fire it a them but then decided against it he didn’t want to hit Duo too. "DAMN IT! I’LL GET HIM BACK YE BLOODY FISH!” Heero’s yells now to Trowa sounded like the innocent yapping of a new baby seal he was not afraid.
Duo’s lovely sleek black tail returned to him and Trowa’s emerald fan tail returned and he swiftly dived down into the depths of the ocean with his beautiful silly brother.
Duo kissed Trowa all over the face for saving him and was hugging him a lot as he still carried him deeper and deeper into the water save from the cold grasp of the pirate King. “Thank you Trowa, thank you so much for saving me!” Duo said kissing him one more time on the cheek and giggled.
Trowa snorted, “I don’t think you should be thanking me just yet you still have father to deal with.” Trowa said sadly, “baby brother why did you do it now your going to get a punishment of a life time. You know you’re not suppose to hunt humans alone they are deadly prey.”
“I know,” Duo sighed looking down as a school of yellow fish with black stripes on them swam past them. Then on the others side a large sea turtle passed by pushing his flippers through the water lazily. “But its just…. I wanted to see if I could do it by myself you know.”
“Well now that you know you can’t and now that you are back with us your going to be in a lot of trouble you know the age of hunting alone isn’t tell your 100 years old your still just a child!” Trowa shook his head, “Come on tell me the real reason you went up there.”
Duo’s pale cheeks turned a bit red, “Fine it was because I wanted to see a human alright but I had no Idea they were so cruel and ruthless.”
“But you did, Father has told you many times!” Trowa said as he was swiftly flipping his tail back and forth going down deep into the depths of the ocean. Tell he finally came down into a coral sink hole that was about 500 feet deep and 900 feet across, the water looked clear blue with silvery like bubbles floating about and far below the king's palace was made out of blue and purple sea diamonds and pearls the palace was a tall beautiful structure to be hold and seem to have a glow about it was at the far south side of the Mer kingdom.
The homes of the area outside of the palace were very lovely as well made of shinny slick looking stone. Trowa swam over all of this, the Kingdom though was guarded by seven foot guards with long spears. They also held magic in their spears and within themselves. Also the kingdom was guarded by Wufei’s magic powers so no human could lay eyes on it unless they were given the right by Wufei himself.
“Alright, alright I knew I made a mistake and I am sorry” Duo said biting his bottom lip.
“I don’t know if you know how sorry you really are,” Trowa sighed “I am just glad I was able to save you, or father might have had to make a hurricane and destroyed much of the land and sea to find you. You know he loves you so much!” Trowa raved on as they come into the court yard which had many pretty coral like planets and glowinga pink, blue and purple sea weed that gave a nice sent.
“Yeah I know I know!” Duo said as they come into the palace which the entry way was a nine foot arching door way the walls of the palace looked like none see through glass that could change colors right now it was a frosty blue.
Wufei came swimming down the hallway toward them flipping his white tail madly and he had a most upset look on his face yet relieved all at the same time.
“Oh Trowa thank the sea God you found him!” Wufei said and came over to them and scooped Duo away from Trowa now cradling Duo against his chest. He looked him over taking hold of his slender chin, he turned his pretty beaten face over. His black eyes narrowed, “You were touched by humans weren’t you?” He wondered in an icy tone that made Duo’s every bones shiver. Duo made to open his mouth but Wufei cut him off he was seeming to be boiling mad. “How dare they do such a thing to you!” He raged and let Duo go and he floated next to him. “I’ll kill every human within five hundred miles of here!” Purple and black energy was being to seep out of Wufei’s body.
“NO Please Father No!” Trowa suddenly burst out not wanting Quatre to be caught in this deadly blow he hugged on to Wufei closing his eyes.
Duo moved out of the way as Trowa hugged their father who was surprised, “What is the meaning of this don’t you think those humans deserve what they get for hurting your baby brother?” Wufei demanded to know in a deep angry tone.
“Yes but I punished the rightful humans on my own no need to kill needlessly really Father please.” Trowa said looking into Wufei’s black eyes with his steady firm emerald green gaze.
“It is true and no need to punish everyone father,” Duo agreed and hugged Wufei on his other side this seemed to clam him down even more.
“Let us just be happy that Duo is safe and back in your arms Father,” Trowa said kissing Wufei’s cheek and rubbed the other side, Mer people thrived off of touch Wufei pressed his cheek into the warm rubbing hand.
“Very well you are both wise children I raised you well, though I don’t know sometimes about you Duo you still need to be taught a few lessons.” Wufei kissed Trowa on his forehead then looked at Duo knowing he had gone to the surface when Wufei had told him many times not to do this.
Duo had started to think he had gotten out of punishment but his father sure did know how to trick him on that one he thought. He looked up at Wufei and Bit his lip and nodded, “yes sir,” he said looking down.
“I can tell you have already been thrashed around enough and spanking you know wouldn’t do any good so I am going to go ahead and take you to your room where you will be guarded for the next two weeks and you’re not leave your room until the two weeks is up and that will start once I put you there is that understood!?” Wufei demanded firmly to his son.
“Yes Father,” Duo felt like this was a total bummer to be sure, then he kissed Wufei on the cheek which was a sign that he really understood what his father meant but also cause he loved him.
“Alright then Trowa go ahead and take your brother to his room and get his wounds healed and give him some crab to eat.” Wufei said and patted Trowa on the cheek softly and smiled he was proud of Trowa and Trowa felt good that his father was so happy with him.
“Yes Sir,” Trowa nodded and then kissed Wufei’s palm before moving to take Duo by his hand and lead his brother down the hall of the palace to their room.
Duo’s hair flowed behind him in a beautiful silky looking chestnut river as he swam away. His tail shined so lovely in the dark water Wufei was so glad to see that Duo was safe then he finally noticed his crown was missing. As he had looked his young beauty over he growled that crown he had made special just for Duo now he really was angry!
He made to fallow after the siblings.
