Let Me Be

Vegeta sighed as he finally came to a stop at the training area. The canyon was covered in rocks and empty space. The sky was bright and clear for it was still early morning. Goku stood in front of Vegeta and looked down.



"So Vegeta," He started giving a smile as he stretched his legs, "Ready for me to beat you once again?"



"Never Again in your lifetime, Kakorott!" Vegeta shouted throwing the first punch, which Goku efficiently dodged. Vegeta Growled and lunged again. He speed each fist up and tried to make contact with some part of Goku, however Goku dodged each and everyone with ease.



Goku finally threw a fist at Vegeta and whacked him right in the stomach.Vegeta Spit up a little blood and Jolted up. "I will win!" He screamed as he hit Goku with a devastating blow to the skull that sent him flying backwards.



Goku caught himself and pulled his hands back, "Kame... Hame...HA!!" he sent the blast right at Vegeta.



"Galic Gun!" He screamed back and the two blue lights hit in the middle. Vegeta pushed out as much power as he could. Vegeta yelled as the beams\' middle grew closer and closer to him. suddenly it all blew up in his face.



Pain seared all over Vegeta but he would not give up! He flew at Goku head on and delivered some serious blows. He kept hitting until Goku grabbed Vegeta\'s fist and flung him away.



"Calm down, Vegeta, you don\'t look OK..." Goku stated looking over the bleeding Vegeta. "Maybe we should stop."



Enraged Vegeta growled, "give up Kakorott? you think i should give up?" Goku tried to utter a no but Vegeta broke through it, "I WILL NEVER GIVE UP! I AM A SAIYAN WARRIOR! THE SAIYAN PRINCE AND I WILL NOT LOOSE TO YOU!"



Vegeta hurdled himself at Goku and caused as much damage as possible.THey kept handing blows to one another for hours on end. Finally Goku sent out anouther blast that sent Vegeta soaring through a cliff. Vegeta was unable to regain himself before he plummeted deep into the dry, hard ground.



"Vegeta!" yelled Goku " Are you alri-"



"sh-shut up." Vegeta started as he stood up and vomited blood off to the side. he wiped his mouth with his cut up arm, "This isn\'t over yet!" Suddenly Vegeta collapsed onto his knees and spit up more blood.



Goku flew over and bent down next to him. "Its ok Vegeta, maybe you\'ll win next time."



Vegeta looked up at Goku through slit eyes."I-I will not loose.." his face grew extremely enraged and all signs of pain faded from his face.  "I WILL NOT LOOSE TO YOU, KAKOROTT," Vegeta screamed at Goku, "I HAVE TRAINED DAY IN AND DAY OUT WHILE YOU LIVED YOUR PERFECT LITTLE LIFE!!! YOU THINK YOUR SO GREAT WITH YOUR HAPPY LIFE!...and your wife... and your kids..." suddenly Vegeta\'s head fell and Vegeta started to cry.



Goku\'s hand rubbed Vegeta\'s back comfortingly. "its alright Vegeta, let it out, you\'ve been through a lot lately."



Vegeta felt all the bottled up pain began to fade and he huged Goku tight. he layed his head on his shoulder and kept crying. "I-I wanna go-" Suddenly everything went black and Vegeta blacked out in Goku\'s arms.

Goku gasped As the weeping stopped. "Vegeta..?" he whispered softly. Vegeta\'s eyes were shut and he was barely breathing. Goku started to panic.



Goku quickly scooped Vegeta into his arms and placed his finger on his index finger and concentrated on Gohan\'s power level. Soon he found himself in the lobby of the hospital right in front of Gohan.



"Dad! what did i tell you about just popping up at my work without a good reason?" growled Gohan, startled and frustrated.



Goku started quickly, "Vegeta\'s hurt and i don\'t know if he\'s gonna be okay! He just blacked out! he could be dieing!"



Gohan pushed his square glasses off the edge of his nose. "Well if he dies it would be a better world i\'ll tell you that dad. so i still don\'t see the ergancy in this."



"Gohan! Now is not the time for grudges! Help him NOW!" Goku yelled. \'whats his problem?\' Goku thought silently, \'Vegeta\'s a good person under all the tough guy stuff\'



Gohan, surprised by his dad\'s sharp tone,he quickly called for a nurse who brought Vegeta a stretcher. Goku sat him down carefully and held his hand in till the nurse and Gohan pushed him to far into the distance.



Goku sat in the waiting room for what seemed like hours. He sat in his seat upside down waiting for Gohan to come in and inform him about Vegeta.Gohan finally came out staring at a small clipboard with his doctor\'s jacket trailing behind him.



Goku jolted up. "How is he? Is he alright? What took so long?"



Gohan gave him a puzzled look. "sorry dad i didn\'t know you cared so much." he looked back down at his clipboard in till he realized his dad was staring at him. "he\'s fine. he\'s been better once we got some blood into him. he just woke up about a second ago. I just came out to-"



Goku interrupted him quickly. "He\'s awake!Can i go see him?"



"Yeah but I-"



Goku rushed past Gohan before he could finish. Gohan let out a bid sigh, pushed up his glasses, and went to go flirt with some of the nurses.



Goku walked into Vegeta\'s room and saw the IV plugged into his arm. "Vegeta I\'m so so-"



"shut up," Vegeta interrupted and Goku looked down. Vegeta laughed."I think it might just be the morphine but i really enjoy your company."



Goku lifted up his head and smiled. Vegeta wanting his company made him feel better about being the one to put him in this hospital.He sat in a small chair next to Vegeta\'s bedside.



Vegeta was smiling, and it wasn\'t his smirk smile... it was a real smile..

Goku leaned down over Vegeta and smiled at him. It felt nice to finally be around Vegeta without all the harsh words and comments. Goku laid his hand on Vegeta\'s bedside.



"Goku," Vegeta said softly, staring at the hospital ceiling. Goku looked at him waiting for him to continue. "I don\'t like being alone... I appreciated your company." Vegeta moved his hand and laced his fingers with Goku\'s."And what ever i I do now I want you to remember." he laughs and sits up.



"Vegeta, Be careful..!" Said Goku as Vegeta flinched from pain. Goku\'s cheeks grew red as Vegeta\'s face got closer to Goku\'s. So close Goku could taste Vegeta\'s breath.



"...and what i say later and deny all of this... I want you to know it\'ll all be to cover up how much I want you.



Vegeta\'s lips finally met Goku\'s as he kissed him for the first time ever. Goku raped his arms around Vegeta\'s neck and Vegeta put his hand on Vegeta\'s thigh. The door opened behind them but did not stop the two.
