“He’s not human! He can’t be!”
“Duo stop yelling! I’m right next to you! And how can Heero not be human?”
“Come on! Look at him and tell me he’s not human!” Duo pointed to Heero who was helping the scientists to upgrade his gundam. “He’s been battered, bruised, burnt, tortured, *and* can put up with Relena! And he’s still in one piece! Trust me, he cant be human!”

“Look who’s talking Duo! You’re not so human yourself!” Duo turned to look at the girl. He was mesmerized by her green eyes.

“What do you mean? Cos we’re gundam pilots? You are one too remember!” Duo nudged her. The girl flicked her cherry brown bangs out of her face and sighed.

“That’s not what I’m talking about Duo,” She said casually as she stood up. She smiled and turned to walk towards Heero. Duo stood up and grabbed her hand.

“Then what are you talking about Cyprien?” Duo asked. His expression went serious, as if a deep dark secret had been let out. Cyprien smiled and a shiver ran down Duo’s spine as if he could hear what she wayinaying, but her lips weren’t moving. Duo let go of Cyprien’s hand and she casually walked away.

‘She.. She.. Can’t know! What just happened?! One minute we’re talking, and she knows about me already? What the..?’ Duo thought to himself. He looked up at Heero and Cyprien talking.

‘She cant be one too? I’d know wouldn’t I? What if she tells Heero? He’d push me out of his life! I’d die if Heero rejected me like that!’

Duo ran up to the wing Zero and looked up towards the open cockpit. Just before Duo could open his mouth to speak, Heero shouted down to him from the cockpit.
“Duo! We’ve got a mission. Let’s get going and I’ll debrief you and Cyprien on the way. Wufei’s already there,” Heero shouted before starting up the wing Zero.

[Wufei’s safe house- Athens, Greece]

“Hey! Wufei ma man!” Duo waved as he entered the safe house. Wufei bowed his head.
“Duo,” He replied.

“Enough chit chat ladies, but we’ve got a mission and it has to take place tonight,” Heero scolded. He sat on the leather couch and placed his laptop on the coffee table. The others followed and sat around the table. Duo looked at his surroundings and smiled.

“So Wufei, How’d you manage to snag a place like this?” Duo smiled.
“I told the owner I’d pay in cash if we’re not disturbed,” Wufei smiled. Duo tried to hold back the laughter.
“You told him we need a place to have group sex?!” Duo nearly fell back on his chair from laughing so hard. Suddenly Duo felt a pinch in his thigh.

“Ow!! Cyprien! What was that for!” Duo yelled. Cyprien pinched him again.

“Shut up shinigami! We’ve got a mission. You can have your fun and games when you’re trying to weasel information out of Zechs!” Cyprien shouted. Duo’s eyes lit up.

“I get to torture Zechs! When were you going to tell me that!” Duo squealed. Cyprien pinched him again.
“Shut up and listen Duo!” she yelled. She turned to Heero and nodded. “Go on Heero.”

Heero turned his laptop around to show the others a blue print of a conference center.
“Some one is planning to assassinate Relena at the world conference in 3 days. We don’t know yet if it’s the white fang, led by Zechs, or if Treis..” Heero said.

“That doesn’t make any sense! Zechs wouldn’t want to kill his own sister, and both Treis and Zechs believe that she’s needed for peace in the future..” Duo shook his head. Wufei scratched his head.
“So what it looks like is there’s a new enemy. They’re going to assassinate Relena and blame it on either Treis or Zechs. Injustice!!”

“Looks like we should all split up and check it out from every angle possible,” Cyprien said. Heero nodded.
“Duo, you go and interrogate Zechs, Wufei, you interrogate Treis, Cyprien, you find out if there are any new players besides Zechs and Treis that want to control the earth sphere alliance.” Heero instructed.

“What about you Heero?” Duo asked.
“I’m going to play body guard to Relena. Besides Noin, I’m the only one she can trust with her life,” Heero said.
“Don’t we all,” Cyprien said. Duo saw Heero look back at her. He could faintly detect a smile and Heero turned and walked out the door.

‘Heero? Smiling?’ Duo thought to himself. ‘I thought he only smiled for me? Maybe Heero and Cyprien are closer than I thought.. but how close?’

Cyprien grabbed her black jacket and her back pack.
“What are you two sitting around for? Let’s go!” She shouted before heading out the door. Duo Wuf Wufei looked at each other as they heard Cyprien’s motorcycle speeding off.
“Women!” Wufei muttered. Duo rolled his eyes.
“You said it Wu!”.

Cyprien dialed Heero’s private number.
“What have you got for me Cyprien?” Heero asked.
“Well hello to you too Heero! How’d you know it was me!” she asked.
“I can always tell when you’re around or trying to contact me. So what have you got?”

Cyprien rolled her eyes.
“Well I hacked into the Oz database at the base in Athens, and there’s nothing about any new bad guys. But, there was something about someone’s been hacking into the White fang computers lately. It seems Zechs has been keeping tabs on Relena’s movements, which isn’t surprising. She is his sister after all. But someone’s been hacking into Zechs private computer and getting info on Relena from there. And trust me, it isn’t one of us gundam pilots.” She reported.

“How do you know it isn’t one of us?” Heero asked. Cyprien could hear him telling Relena to be quiet in the background. “Cyprien, Relena said to say hi.”

“Say hi back for me. Anyway, I know it can’t be one of us because according to what people have told me, not even one of us can hack into his computer. It’s got a 900 bit cipher, which not even the best hackers in the world can crack,” Cyprien said.

Heero paused for a moment.
“Maybe they’re not hacking into his computer. Maybe it’s an inside job. Whoever it ay bay be in Zech’s command,” The stoic boy responded.

“That’s what I think too. I’m going to France, where Zech is and I’ll try get some inside info from there. Ill get back in touch with you in about 12 hours! Cya!” Cyprien said before hanging up.

“Say hi to Cyprien for me Heero,” Relena whispered. Heero wave his hand to tell her to go away. Relena took a step back and put her hands on her hips.
“Well so-ree mr emotionless!” she muttered under her breath.

She waited until Heero hung up and put his phone in his pocket.
‘Pity he’s not wearing his black tight shorts’ Relena thought to herself. ‘I wonder where the phone goes when he’s wearing those.’

Heero saw Relena looking at his jeans.
“Problem?” he asked. Relena blushed.
“Problem? Er.. no problem. What did Cyprien say Heero?” she asked.

“Someone’s been keeping tabs on your movements by hacking into Zech’s computer. Cyprien’s going to check it out.”

“Let’s see. Where are you hiding Zechs?” Duo said to himself. He sat in the corner of a burger shop, typing on his laptop. The waitress served Duo a plate with a large burger with the lot and a plate of fries.

“Thanks lady,” Duo said as he took his long slender fingers off the keyboard and grabbed the burger.
The waitress looked at him and tilted her head.

“Gee, you must me hungry. What’s a young boy like you doing homework on the school holidays?” she asked. Duo nearly choked on his hamburger from laughter.

‘Homework? If only she could see that I’m hacking into the White fang mainframe to gain information about Milliardo Peacecraft right now!’ he thought to himself.

“Gotta work extra hard if you want to succeed I guess!” he grinned at the waitress. She giggled and went back to work.

Duo shrugged his shoulders and kept typing.

“Well well well! Looks like Zechs and Treis are having a secretive meeting tonight in Paris. I bet Wufei’s already there!” Duo ate the rest of his burger and ran to catch the next flight to Paris.

[Zech and Treis’s secret meeting place: Paris hotel, Paris]

“I don’t know how it’s possible?!” Zechs shouted. “Who would try and continually hack into my computer!! And for info on Relena- of all people!!”

Treis placed his finger on Zech’s lips.
“Shhh. My friend, people might hear if you yell. Let’s just keep this meeting quiet.” Treis whispered. Zechs smiled and wrapped his arms around Treis.

“yes sir..” the platinum blonde smiled.

“Wu! They’re up there!” Duo pointed to the penthouse of the five star French hotel. Wufei raised and eyebrow..
“A French hotel room.. I don’t want to know what they’re doing up there!” Wufei muttered. “Injustice..”

Duo laughed.
“Maybe I should’ve brought a camera Wu. We could black mail them with the photos!” Duo smiled.

Wufei rolled his eyes.
“Lets just go in.”

“How’d you get in here!!” Zechs yelled. He reached for his gun, but was stopped by the feeling of cold metal pressed to his forehead. Zechs looked up and saw Wufei on the other end of the barrel.

“I don’t think that’s wise Zechs,” Wufei smirked.
“Just be glad Wufei hasn’t got his sword with him. He might’ve cut your head off by now,” Duo giggled as he tied up Treis to the bed head. Wufei glared at Duo.

“What do you want?” Treis demanded. He was caught of guard when Duo stroked Treis’s cheek with his fingers.
“Well, we’re going to get *very* intimate Treis. You and Zechs r going to tell us who’s planning to kill Relena.” Duo smiled. Treis shuddered when he saw the look on Duo’s face. There was something sinister or dark in his violet eyes.

“Duo.. Duo!” Wufei said and he finished tying up Zechs. “Swap. You take Zechs and I’ll take care of Treis,” Wufei instructed. Duo Jumped off the bed and walked towards Zechs and Wufei. His chestnut braid swinging from side to side as he walked.

“I’ll take him into the adjoining bedroom. U can ‘interrogate’ Treise here,” Duo smiled cheekily. “Pretty good cover eh boys? Hire a hotel room with two bedrooms so no-one would get suspicious.uo luo laughed as he dragged Zechs with effortless ease into the next room.

“Zechs has to be twice his size and probably twice his weight too; how can your little friend drag him so easily. Eh little dragon?” Treis said softly. Wufei turned to face Treis.

“I’m not your little dragon, so don’t call me that!” Wufei yelled, throwing a punch at Treis. “Pervert”

“Well Zechs. Time for you and me to get to know each other a little better!” Duo smiled. Zechs, still lying on the floor, looked up at Duo who was standing in front of him.

“I don’t know anything. Why do you think Treis and I planned to meet here? We were discussing about who would be planning to kill Relena,” Zechs said.
Duo rolled his eyes.

“oh sure!! You had to hire a hotel room to do that! I’m sure you two were just planning to leave after that. From what it looked like when we stormed in, you two were going to get jiggy with it first!” Duo smiled cheekily.

Zechs smiled.
“I’m not afraid of you Duo. Never have need and never will,” He said confidently.
Duo raised an eyebrow.

“Are you sure?..”

“Are you sure? Okay thanx a bunch! Yeah!! Don’t worry! You’ll get your stinking money!! I’ll send the cheque to you as soon as I can!” Cyprien hung up her private phone and mailed the cheque.

‘People these days! If you cant torture them for information.. you have to pay them! Geeze!’

*ring ring *

Cyprien answered her phone.
“Heero?”
“Cyprien, I want you to go and keep an eye on Duo and Wufei. Whoever it is that’s keeping and eye on Zechs might be there when Duo interrogates him for information,” Heero instructed.

“Sure. Gotcha. You justp anp an eye on Relena and we’ll take care of everything okay?” Cyprien hung up the phone and started up her motor bike.

“Come on Zechs, you don’t want me to pump you full of drugs so you can talk. It’s either the easy way, or the hard way. Now what do you know about this new player?” Duo grabbed Zech’s shoulders.

Suddenly the lights went out. Duo threw Zechs back onto the floor and grabbed his gun. Just as Duo’s eyes adjusted to the darkness, a taark ark figure broke through the window.

“Shit!” Duo yelled. He saw Zech’s laptop on the table behind him.
‘He’s going for the laptop!’ Duo thought to himself. The intruder held up a shotgun in Duo’s direction.
Duo held his arms up in surrender, but didn’t let go of his gun.

The intruder reached for the laptop, but kept the shotgun firmly aimed at Duo’s chest.

‘how am I going to dodge the shotgun AND get the laptop back in one piece!?’ Duo thought to himself. ‘I’ve got no choice but to let him take it! .. I’ll follow him and see where he goes.’

“Wufei!” Cyprien yelled. “Where’s Duo!” Wufei was sitting on the bed next to where Treis was tied up with a knife to Treis’s throat.

“He’s in there,” Wufei replied, pointing to the door across the room. “Why? Cyprien, what’s going on?”

“Something’s not right. Women’s intuition I guess,” Cyprien replied.

Cyprien opened the door to the adjoining room and saw the intruder pointing a shotgun at duo.

“Duo!” Cyprien screamed. She reached her arm out in the intruder’s direction, then there was a big white flash.
