Chapter 2
I woke up at 1pm. I had an hour to get ready and be at some restaurant for some corporate meeting. I flew out of bed and into the shower. I washed my hair quickly and theapteapt outthe the shower and got dressed. I put on baggy black jeans and a white dress shirt. I blow dried and brushed my hair, cleaned my teeth, pulled my boots on and ran out the door. I collided with Tyson in the hallway.
\"Ugh! Get off me! I\'m running late!!\" he snapped.
\"Calm down! So am I!\" I replied, helping him up..
We walked briskly down the corridoor to the elevator. We rode the elevator to the ground floor and rushut iut into the streets of hong kong. We ran all the way to the restaurant. Puffing and panting we collapsed into our seats. I aologised as best I could while gasping for air.
\"Doesn\'t matter\" kenny replied \"It\'s not really important. I just told you all that so you would come.\"
Tyson groaned.
\"You mean I ran all that way for nothing?\" he grumbled.
\"Ever hear of exercise...?\" Kai asked, his voice dripping with disdain.
My heart skipped a beat at the sound of Kai speaking. I couldn\'t help it, I was falling for the guy. I ate in a daze, answering in monosyllables. I was impatiently waiting for night to arrive so I could spend it in Kai\'s arms. A couple of times I caught Kai looking at me. How odd...
