Chapter 24



Takao groaned as he placed the pillow over his head.
“Babe, get that.” He mumbled underneath his pillow.
“You get it. I have to get up early for work.”
“I didn’t get my sex, so you get it.”
The knocking continued, Mihaeru growled and roughly tossed his blankets away. He glared down at his lover who was quickly snoozing.
“Jerk” He whispered under his breath as he opened the door. “Rei? What are you doing here?”
“I’m sorry. I know it’s late.”
“Yeah two thirty. Anyways is something wrong?”
“May I?” The raven hair looked inside the room. The light blond quickly moved aside allowing Rei to enter. The raven hair removed his jacket and looked over to Mihaeru who closed the door.
“Sit.” The light blond pointed toward his bed.
“Thanks.” The raven hair walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, the light blond walked over and sat next to him.
“So what’s up?”
“I’m really sorry to bother you at this hour.”
“It’s okay. If you need help you can come to us at anytime.” Takao snored loudly making the light blond look over at him with a glare. “Well you can come to me anytime, sleeping beauty…well that’s another story.”
Rei lightly laughed and Mihaeru turned over to him with a smile. They stopped and sat in the dark room in silence.
“What happened?” Mihaeru asked as he turned on the small lamp next to his bed, sitting on the nightstand.
“Remember the whole party thing?”
“Yeah.”
“Man that thing was a bust, I mean it sucked.”
“Okay…”
“That isn’t the reason I came here though.”
“Did something happen at the party?”
“Yeah. I went with Raul, he asked if we can go together and I said yes.”
“Uh huh.”
“He left to get some drinks when Kai showed up and dragged me out. He started telling me that I am screwing with Raul’s feelings and I don’t even notice. This sucks! I didn’t ask for him to like me, maybe like a friend but nothing more then that.”
“You’re still confused right?”
”Well duh!”
“Keep it down Rei.”
“Sorry.”
“Hmm well Kai has a point, he is only trying to make you realize that Raul might get hurt if you continue to act like you have a thing for him as well.”
“I was going to tell him during the party, but I chickened out.”
“I know this is hard but you need to tell him that you don’t feel the same way. If you don’t he will seriously get hurt when he finds out.”
“I guess your right. Can you tell him?”
“Rei you know this is between you and him. I’m sorry but I can only give you the advice, you on the other hand either can take it or continue the way you are now.”
The raven hair looked down, he stared at his shoes and sighed. He felt a hand placed on his shoulder.
“You can do it. He will understand, it will hurt him but it is better to let him know then hurt him even more.”
“I know…I just wished none of this ever happened.”
“Too bad it did. Just remember that we are here for you.”
Takao let out another loud snore making the two boys laugh.



Rei was sleeping soundly under his covers when suddenly loud wild music began to pound in his ear. He jumped out of his bed and was going to run out, until he fell forward tangled in his covers. He landed on the wooden floor with a loud thump, he groaned as he felt pain hit his chest.
“Morning sleepy head!”
He looked up to see Tala holding a boom box and a grin on his face.
“Tala? What are you doing here?” He glanced over to his clock. “At five thirty in the morning…”
“It’s spring break. And today we are all getting ready to head down to the beach.”
“Turn off that racket.”
They both looked over toward the door entrance and saw Kai walking in.
“Oh sorry.” He pressed the stop button and placed the boom box on the floor next to his feet. “Anyways. Come on and pack up.”
“Why?”
“For the week a the beach.”
“I thought that was going to be on Monday?”
“Yeah well change of plans. So hurry up.”
“Fine…” He began to untangle the sheets from his legs.
“We will wait outside. Come on Kai.” He grabbed the dual hair by the wrist and dragged him out of the room.
‘Should I really go?’ He stood up and threw the sheets on his bed. ‘But I can’t stay here for a week all alone…Takao and Mihaeru are going to go and visit their families…and that leaves me here alone.’ He walked over to the closet and pulled out a blue duffle bag. ‘Whatever, I will just be alone at the beach. At least I will have something to watch while I take a good look at how pathetic I am right now.’ He began to pull out cloths from his drawer and threw them into the bag. ‘Tala said all the performers were going there…so that means Raul will be there, I can tell him the truth, maybe then my life will turn around.’



Thirty minutes passed by and Tala was walking out with Rei.
“I hope you brought your bathing suit.”
“You mean swimming trunks.”
“It’s the same thing idiot.” He slapped the raven hair on the back roughly.
“Hey what took you so long!?” Rei looked up and saw Julia. She was seated in the front of a white convertible. She was wearing a strapless light blue shirt that cut, exposing her belly button. She had on a miniskirt that hung low on her hips, and sunglasses on her head. She was on the car seat on her knees and was waving at the two who were making their way toward the car.
“Sorry, this guy is just a regular sloth.” He grinned and ran over to the car. He jumped on the backseat and signaled the raven hair to pick up the speed. Rei sighed and ran over to the car. He stopped when he saw Kai seated in the driver’s seat. He had on a pair of slick dark shades and a white casual shirt that had the top buttons opened and exposing his chest, the sleeve were rolled up to his elbow. He had on a pair of silver dog tags, as the raven hair came closer he noticed that the dual hair was wearing a pair of black tight jeans.
“Come on get in.” The red head patted the seat next to him. Rei looked down, he climbed into the car and placed his bag between his legs.
“Buckle up. I am not going to be responsible if any of you decided to go flying out.”
Julia sat down and buckled up. Tala and Rei did the same, as soon as they finished Kai started the car and stepped on the pedal, they drove off in an instant.


Kai did a quick turn and entered the freeway. Julia pulled out a booklet full of CDs and began to scan through them.
“Do you have 1TYM?”
“No.”
“Aw that sucks. Hmm you have a whole mess of T.M. Revolution songs, GACKT, L’ARC EN CIEL, BI, Utada Hikaru, and Two-Mix.”
“Hey put L’ARC EN CIEL.” Tala pointed at the CD.
“I really wanted to hear 1TYM. Kai why don’t you ever get any of their CDs?”
“I don’t like rapping.”
“But they are so cool, plus Danny is a total hot guy.”
“I don’t buy CDs because there is a hot person in them.”
“Utada raps. Doesn’t she Tala?”
“Not like 1TYM.” He leaned forward and grabbed the CD booklet.
“If you don’t like any then shut up and enjoy the silence.” He looked back to see if there were any cars and he quickly changed lanes.
“But the drive is two hours long.” The Spanish girl sighed.
“Kai you only have these artists?”
“The rest are in the trunk.”
“Why do you have them there?”
“Will you just pick a CD and shut up.” The dual hair quickly cut a car that was ahead of them.
“Fine you grouch.” He looked over the selections.
“Um I have some.”
“Which artists?”
“It’s mixture. Um this one has Boa, X-Japan, Siam Shade, G.O.D, 1TYM,Taebin, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Weesung.” He showed the red head the CD.
“Oh here give it.” Julia snatched away from the raven hair and placed in the CD player. “You have 1TYM and Taebin, perfect!”
“You’re welcome…”
The first song was 1TYM and it was called Hot.
“I love this one!” The Spanish girl squealed. “Too bad Kai I guess we will be hearing rapping today.” She lightly punched him on the arm.
“Whatever, as long as you shut up it doesn’t matter.”
“You’re such a meanie.” She turned her attention back toward her front.
‘Man maybe I should have stayed at the dorms.’ Rei rested his chin on his hand and glanced over the side to watch the scenery pass by.



“Wake up Rei.”
The raven hair slowly opened his eyes, he lifted his head up and looked over his surroundings, he let out a yawn.
“We’re here?”
“Yup. Come on.” Tala jumped out of the car and walked over to the trunk. Rei followed. The red head pulled out the bags.
“Here give me a hand.”
“Sure.” Rei grabbed his and another bag, he followed the red head who made his way toward a beach house. They arrived and climbed the steps, the door was opened and they stepped in.
“Jul where do you want your bag!?”
“Bring it up!”
“Alright!” He turned over to the raven hair. “Take Kai’s over to the master bedroom, it should be the door down in the hall. You won’t miss it, it will be right in front of you.”
“Uh okay.”
They both headed up the stairs, Tala walked down to the left side and headed toward one of the smaller bedrooms. Rei took the right and made his way down the hall toward the master bedroom.
“Why does he get the master bedroom?” He walked in and began to admire the scenery. It was a large white bedroom, in the center of the room rested a giant California bed, to the right there were large windows with silk curtains, there was a large mirror cabinet to the left and the large double door closet on the left as well only down on the corner.
“Lucky bastard gets a nice room like this.” He walked over to the bed and tossed the bag over unto the bed. He turned around and saw Kai leaning on the doorway looking at the raven hair. “Uh…I uh was just dropping off your bag.”
“Reason I get this room is because this is my beach house.”
“This big place is yours?”
“Yes.” He walked past Rei and opened his bag.
“So where will I stay?”
“Julia and Tala have their rooms already and the guest room is going to be for Raul and the other four who will stay here.”
“Let me guess I’m going to take the couch right?”
“No.” He turned around and stared at the raven hair. “You will be staying with me here.”
“In the same room?” His eyes widen.
“No in the toilet. Yes in the same room. You can put your clothes in the bottom drawer and hang some in the closet.”
“I don’t know…”
“If you want to sleep on the couch fine. I don’t give a damn.” He walked over to the closet and began to hang some shirts up.
Rei watched Kai put away his things; the raven hair ran his hand on the side of his head.
“I guess I can be with you in this room.” He slowly walked over to the right side of the bed and began to pull out his things.



It was eleven when the rest of the performers arrived. Raul walked in the giant beach house with four other people, two guys and two girls.
“Raul what took so long?” Julia walked over to her brother.
“Sorry we left a bit late from the college and traffic really got bad.”
“Did you at least have breakfast?”
“No.”
“Well come on, put your things away and eat. Kai is making breakfast.”
“Okay. Oh um is Rei here?”
“Yeah he’s in the kitchen helping Tala set up.”
“Oh good. Okay I will be there.”
“Alright.” She kissed him on the cheek and made her way back toward the kitchen.




“Hey after breakfast how about we go to the beach?”
“I don’t care.” Kai was cutting some oranges.
“Come on Kai. We’re here in the beach, what else do you think we will be doing?”
“I don’t care what you plan on doing. I just want to relax by myself.”
“Man you are such a loner.”
“And you’re an annoying little bug that I want to step on right now.”
“Fine, Julia will just have to make you go.”
“Go where?” She walked in and sat down on one of the stools that were located at the bar.
“To the beach. I was suggesting after breakfast we head down and have some fun.”
“Oh that will be great. Kai you are coming!”
“Whatever.”
“I’m serious, if you don’t go I will force you to take me out to a fancy restaurant for dinner.”
“You’re already forcing me.”
“So that is a yes. Yeah fun at the beach.”
“We can play volley ball and limbo, oh and chicken.”
Rei placed the tablemats and just listened to the two making plans.
“Hey Rei.”
The raven hair looked up to see Raul walking in. He had on a brown vest with a white casual collar, no shirt under and a pair of blue jeans, with blue sneakers.
“Hey.”
“Raul what took you so long?” Tala walked over to the Spanish boy and warped his arm around his waist.
“Heavy traffic.” He had on a slight blush.
“Well at least you’re here. And look how cute you’re dressed.”
He blushed even more.
“Did your mother get you this outfit? Cause it is not beach material.”
“It isn’t?”
“Nope. You know what is? A black Speedo.”
The Spanish boy turned bright red and looked down onto the tiled floor.
“Tala leave Raul alone.”
“You know I am only teasing him Julia. But still I bet you will attract a lot of girls and guys wearing one of those.”
“Um…I don’t like to show off a lot of my body.”
“Aw I bet you have a hot one.”
“Enough! Leave him alone. If you want to hit on someone go to the beach.” Julia removed herself from the stool and walked over to her brother. She removed the red head’s grip and walked with him over to the table.
“You are no fun Jul.”
“Shut up and help Kai.”
“Why don’t you?”
“Cause I already did.”
“Yeah right. You just watched him and ate a few strawberries.”
“Just shut up.”
“Will you two knock it off? If you are going to argue do it in the living room.”
Julia stuck her tongue out at the red head who in return, gave her the middle finger.
Raul lightly laughed and the raven hair only smiled.
Rei sat down next to the Spanish boy.
“I’m glad you came Rei.”
“Yeah well Tala insisted, besides I had nowhere else to go.”
“Well now we can hang out together.”
“Yeah.”
“Ah! Raul get it away!”
The two boys looked over to see Julia hiding behind Kai; the dual hair looked over at the Spanish boy with anger and lifted up a small animal who was eating an orange.
“Fai!” The Spanish boy quickly ran over to him and removed him from the dual hair’s grip.
“I don’t allow pets here.”
“But he had nowhere to be during the week”
“You should have asked.”
“I’m sorry Kai. I knew you were going to be upset so I decided to sneak him in.”
“I hate that thing.” She moved away from Kai and leaned down to look at the small animal. “Raul why did you even get this thing?”
“He’s cute.”
“It’s weird.” She looked at Kai. “Just let him keep it here. He didn’t cause trouble at the dorms so I’m sure it will behave here.”
“It stole some fruit from the salad.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Whatever just keep it away from me.”
Kai grabbed the bowl of fruit and took it over the sink.
“Raul keep him in your room alright.”
“Yeah.”


Breakfast was over and Tala was in the living room stretching.
“Man that was good! Okay everyone let’s head down to the beach!” He picked up his towel and quickly ran outside followed by Julia and the rest of the group.




Rei and Raul were walking together heading toward the changing rooms.
‘I can tell him right now.’ He glanced over to the Spanish boy who was holding Fai in his arms. ‘Gee this is going to be hard.’ He took in a deep breath. “Um Raul?”
“Yeah?”
“Listen I wanted to talk to you about the relationship we are in at the moment.”
“Um okay.” A light blush covered the bridge of his nose.
“How can I put this…you are a very nice guy and well attractive and all, just that.”
“Look out!”
“Huh?” Rei turned toward the direction and saw a ball heading his way. He quickly dropped backwards, allowing the ball to pass by him.
“Nice move Rei!”
Tala came running toward them. He was wearing a pair of red swimming trunks and a white no sleeve shirt. He stopped in front of them.
“Hey you guys want to play volley ball?”
“Yeah!” Raul smiled.
“Hurry up and get dressed.”
He ran over to the ball and picked it up, he tossed it to the person waiting for it and ran up ahead.
“Come on Rei.” The Spanish boy quickly made his way toward the small changing rooms.
‘Argh! I was about to say it…oh well maybe later.’ He quickly followed.


“I’ll meet you outside.” Raul yelled.
“Alright.” Rei closed the curtain; he hung the towel on the hook and began to remove his shirt. Suddenly the light yellow curtain was roughly opened making the raven hair jump in surprise. He looked at the person and saw Kai standing in front of him wearing a pair of black swimming trunks with red flame designs on each side.
“You scared me! And what exactly are you doing here?”
The dual hair didn’t reply he just continued to stare at the raven hair. Rei began to feel uncomfortable, he covered himself with his shit and waited for the dual hair to go away or say something.
Kai grabbed him by the arms and pulled him for a fiery kiss, the raven hair was roughly slammed against the wall of the small room. He dropped his shirt and placed his hands on the dual hair’s chest. Kai pulled away from the kiss and began to kiss his way down the raven hair’s neck. Rei ran his hands down the well-built chest and grabbed a nipple, he tweaked it making Kai moan. The dual hair began to undo the zipper pulling it wide open, he pulled them down taking the raven hair’s boxers with them. He kneeled down and took the semi-erect organ in his mouth. He began to suck on it hard making Rei moan out loud. He covered his mouth in order to prevent anyone from hearing them. The dual hair grabbed the curtain and closed it. He went back to Rei’s erection, he ran his tongue over it and then he stood up. Rei pulled him for a kiss and they both began to kiss in a lustful passionate way.
“Maybe we should do this somewhere else.” Rei whispered in between the kiss.
“No. I want you now.”
“You horny bastard…how about in the water?” He pulled away from the kiss and looked into Kai’s eyes.
“You actually aren’t pushing me away.”
“Well you’re just to damn hot to ignore. But seriously how about later.” He kissed Kai on the lips, he pulled away, and he kneeled down and pulled up his jeans, and grabbed his things. “If you can beat me in volley ball you can do whatever you want with me for tonight.”
“So you are challenging me?”
“Yup. Like I said win and you can do whatever you want to me. But if I win you will have to leave me alone for the whole week.”
“Fine.”
“Okay. Now will you please leave so I can get ready.”
“Whatever.”
The dual hair stepped out, Rei grinned as soon as Kai walked out.
‘Okay Mr. I get what I want, today I’m going to show you that I can be on top for once too. Okay first I will tell Raul and then I will beat that guy so badly that he will soon give me the damn respect I need.’ He stepped out and quickly made his way out. ‘I’m tired of letting people pushing me around. Today I will show Kai what I can really do.’



Raul was kneeling playing with Fai. Rei walked over to him, the Spanish boy smiled and stood up.
“Sorry I took so long.”
“It’s okay.”
“Raul. What I am about to say is going to be real hard for me, listen I like you too.”
“I know.” He smiled.
“But…how can I say this. Please don’t hate me when I tell you this, but the truth is that I don’t like you in the way you do. Please don’t cry. Besides there are plenty of fish in the sea, I don’t even think I am worthy to be with you. Please forgive me.” Rei bowed his head and waited for a reply.
“Oh sorry Rei. I needed to chase after Fai who was wondering off. So what were you saying?”
The raven hair fell over.
“You didn’t hear anything?”
“Heh heh no I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.” ‘Just my luck…I confessed and he missed it all.’ He let out a sigh.
“Rei may I say something.”
“Yeah go ahead.” He stood up and began to un-dust himself.
“I really like you and I know you like me too, but to tell you the truth…I um last night during the party when you left. Tala he wanted to hang out so I agreed and well one thing led to another and I kind of lost my virginity to him.”
Rei stood in his place with his mouth wide opened.
“Please don’t me upset.”
‘What the hell did he just say?’
“Rei…I’m sorry if I led you on. I hope you are not mad at me.”
Suddenly the raven hair began to laugh, he pulled the Spanish boy into a hug.
“Raul I am not mad at you! I am so happy! Thank you thank you!” He removed himself from the hug and looked down at the shocked looking Raul. “To tell you the truth I’m glad you found someone…cause in reality I don’t think I was meant for you at all. Besides Tala seems like a real nice guy.”
“You really mean it Rei?”
“Yeah! I’m happy to hear that you have found someone. I thought I was leading you on and I was going to tell you that I just wanted to be friends.”
“I will be glad if we stayed friends.”
“Great! Man Tala that dog. No wonder he was hitting on you.”
“Yeah…I still feel awkward and all, plus I haven’t told Julia yet.”
“She is going to be surprised.”
“Yeah, especially since she and Tala argue constantly.” He smiled as the small animal who nuzzled his chin.
“I’m happy for you.”
“Thank you. I’m sure you will soon find someone.”
“Oh I think I already have someone in mind.”
“Really, who?”
“I’ll let you know when the time is right. Come on let’s go play volley ball.”
“Yeah!”
They both went running toward where the group was.




“Okay so let me get this straight. You two are going to battle in a volley ball match?”
“Yup.” Rei grinned
“He wanted to.”
The red head sighed.
“Man I rather have you guys do a dance contest instead.”
“We need to be fair. If it was a dance contest the idiot would already lose.”
“Bastard! I can beat you in dancing too!”
A lot of coughing and giggling was heard.
“Sure Rei. In your dreams maybe.”
The raven hair glared at the red head.
“Okay we will give you your battle. So how is it going to be?”
“One on One” Rei said with a smirk on his lips.
“Okay your funeral.” Tala walked away and the two went to their sides of the court. “It will be score 10. Who ever gets ten will be the winner!”
The dance group began to surround the court and watched the two getting ready.
“Heads or tails?”
“Heads” Rei yelled out.
The red head tossed the coin and caught it. He flipped in on the back of his hand and looked at it.
“Rei you serve first.” He tossed the ball at the raven hair.
“You are going down Kai.”
“Whatever.” The dual hair got in position.
‘Tch jerk does he always have to act like he doesn’t even care?’ He tossed the ball in the air and roughly smacked it over the net. ‘Kai you are so going to regret messing with me.’ He smirked.
