Chapter 3
- « Miss Peacecraft is waiting for
you in her office. » said the secretary to Quatre Raberba Winner, the
Gundam Force company boss, opening the door for him.
- « Thank you », he said standing up
then going to meet his future business partner.
The blond young man, with blue eyes and a pale
skin entered a room very… pink. And in the middle of it, sitting in an enormous
armchair in leather… pink, too, was throning a… huh… stuck-up girl, who, to
crown all bad taste, was wearing a suit … and I’m not kidding… fushia !
There was nothing better to jar with the furniture.
- « Mister Winner, please settle
down. »
- « Thank you » he said approaching a e pie pink thing.
As he suspected, the arm-chair was far from
being comfortable. Fortunately, she doesn’t have a nasal twang , or else I
would be running away right now as fast as I can.
- « Good. It’s my brilliant project
chief Trowa Barton who is wishing to negotiate the integration of one of
your data processing specialist in his
project, if I’m not wrong. »
- « Exactly. By the way I wish to attend
the maintenance, once our meeting has ended. »
- « It’s a good idea. I will unfortunately
not have the time to come with you. Well. So your company is… Gundam
Force ? »
- « Absolutely. »
- « Could you present it
quickly ? »
Everything is in the booklet, almost answered Quatre. As if she hasn’t taking the time to get
information before receiving him !
- « Yes, being very busy, I just took the
time to look over the sheets quickly. »
Quatre repressed an enormous sigh. This girl
was to be new at the post of director, it was not possible otherwise. Thus, he
started a mini speech on his company. This interview was already boring, but
well, Duo seemed to really care for his new comer, he was to make an effort…

thought Quatre stopping himself from raising his eyes to the roof.
- « You’re lucky, I have his curriculum in
my satchel, one moment… »
He searched in his files to finally taking up a
blue one. He opened it and looked for Heero Yuy’s curriculum vitea.
- « Here » he said giving her the
layers.
- « Thank you » she replied.
And then, Quatre thought he just pressed the
television remote control button, mode pause. Because it really was a
« freeze frame » that he had under his eyes. The Peacecraft company
boss was in admiration looking at the
curriculum vitea : the mouth opened in a heart shape, the eyes sparkling,
a hand on her cheek… She seemed very impressed… In fact, felt Quatre with his
empathy, it was as if she just met her Charming Prince…. Love at first
sight !
What ?
So she would also be interested in Mister Yuy ? He almost burst into laughing. He retained himself from laughing at the
cost of a big blush and a serious teeth clench. He had to put his hand in front
of his mouth to avoid that any sound go off of it, thinking that Duo will be in
competition with this… hum… with her, concerning the young Japanese heart’s
appropriation. Ah
ah ah ! Ouuuuh, this situation will probably be very
interesting for the three of them. I will have to carefully keep an eye on it.
For once, maybe it will amuse me to play the psychologist with Duo. When he’ll
realize who is this girl and that she is also in love… He’ll gonna kill her for
sure ! Ouuuh this will be fun.
Relena finally seized herself again.
- « When does he have his interview with
Mister Barton ? »
- « At 7 pm, in a quarter of hour. »
- « Very well, I’ll try to come. I would
like to attempt this meeting finally. »
No, kidding ! But it’s a wonderful idea, thought Quatre with a large smile. It was likely to be explosive. His
empathy will be able to play to his heart content ! A moment of pure
happiness in prospect.

« All right. If you please excuse me, I
will have a coffee before my commercial and our new employee arrive. »
- « Of course, no problem. »
- « See you later, then. » he said
leaving the room.
He closed the door slightly, leaved the
secretary office which was just before the one of the boss, and once in the
corridor he couldn’t help himself from bursting out laughing ! He seized
himself quickly thus, and when he raised his head, it was to find himself face
to face with a young Chinese man having a stern and challenging look. The man passed through him with a disapproval
look on his face. Hmmm, he doesn’t seem to be very easy-living, this one. I
hope he won’t be in the same team as Mister Yuy because othee, fe, from what
Duo told me about his backbone, there will be blood in no time. And he
almost laugh again.
