Eighteen's Revelations

Stranded-the revised version!

Chapter 3- Eighteen's Revelations

Notes: Well, I was planning on leaving this fic as a pointless, almost plotless lemon. But... I've
been getting rave reviews for it recently, asking about another chapter. I guess I'll have to come
up with something to do with these two, eh? I don't know what I'll do about more sex scenes,
they really are a pain in the ass for me to write, sometimes. Take forever... *sighs* Well, here's the bit of a
plot I came up with. And here's a question for anyone who chooses to review this: Do you think
that Vegeta should end up with Eighteen and leave Trunks and Bulma in the dust? Or should
something more tragic happen? *smirks* Dust or tragic, what'll it be?

It was morning. The cruel dawn sun shone brightly through the window of the room the android and saiyan were sleeping peacefully in. Vegeta rolled over onto his side and the sun's rays forced their way through his eyelids, his dark eyes snapping open suddenly.

Without even thinking about it, the Prince of All Saiyans sent a ki blast at the window. The wood and glass shattered and fell away, taking a rather large chunk of the wall with them. Eighteen snapped awake at the sudden noise and the two of them stared at the aperture. This could be an avenue of escape for the both of them. They both sprang from the bed, pulling on pieces of tattered clothing.

Eighteen, seeing that what was left of her clothing wasn't nearly enough, grabbed a bed sheet and made a makeshift wrap from it. She tied it firmly in a knot with the help of her teeth and Vegeta glanced at her as he stepped towards the window. The android said in a low voice, "You tell no one, and I tell no one. Understand?"

Not wanting to argue, but rather to leave the whole ordeal behind, the saiyan nodded and left through the whole in the wall, taking to the sky and disappearing in a flash. Eighteen shook her head and murmured, "What in the hell have I done?"

She, too, flew off. She headed for her brother's cabin in the woods. It was still early, so she knew that he'd be asleep. Seventeen had always been a late sleeper. More of a night owl than anything else.

She silently set her feet down on the porch of the log cabin, slowly opening the door and peering in. Not seeing any immediate activity, Eighteen closed the door behind herself and made a quick inspection of the house. Coming to her brother's room, she saw that the door was ajar. She pushed it gently open and couldn't resist a small smile as she caught sight of him.

There was her younger brother, dreaming away. It wasn't necessary for them to sleep, but the two of them had adopted more human habits over the years. His raven dark hair was half draped over his face as he lay on his side, his lips parted ever so slightly as he breathed deeply. He was sprawled across the bed, taking up far more space than should have been possible for one so thin. Since they were practically insusceptible to temperature changes, he was sleeping shirtless. His pale skin glimmered softly from the few rays of light that filtered through the thick and heavy drapes on the windows. Seventeen had one arm curled under his pillow, his coal dark lashes resting on his smooth and pale cheeks.

Eighteen shook her head with a little smirk. It really was a shame that he was her brother, he was a truly beautiful thing. She turned to leave the room when she heard the blankets ruffling behind her. She glanced back over her shoulder to see her brother sitting up with a yawn, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

She crossed her arms and leaned against the door frame. "Well, good morning, sunshine."

Seventeen jumped slightly, sighing in relief when he saw his sister standing there. "Trying to give me a heart attack?" he asked.

"You know I'd never do something like that to you."

He nodded and squinted in the semi-darkness at her. "What happened to your clothes, Eighteen?"

'Shit,' she thought. 'I can't tell him...' Out loud, she said, "Don't worry about it. I can always go and pick some up at the store."

He shrugged, not wanting to press the issue and feeling her discomfort about it. "If you say so. Hey, you want some breakfast?"

"Sure."

The twins headed into the kitchen and Seventeen set a frying pan on the stove, cracking open a few eggs and letting them cook. He turned on the coffee maker and sat down at the table across from Eighteen.

"So," he began, "to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

The blonde android shrugged. "Just felt like dropping by, I suppose."

"Wearing a sheet?" he raised a dark brow questioningly.

"Let's not go there, alright? I did something I shouldn't have done, and let's just leave it at that."

"Hmmm..."

She said nothing as he served up the eggs and poured two cups of coffee. "Are you sure you're alright? You seem like something's bothering you, sister."

Eighteen sighed and took a swallow of the nearly scalding hot coffee. "You have to swear to me that you're not going to be angry, Seventeen... He He held his hands up. "Alright, alright, I swear. Now, spill."

Eighteen chewed thoughtfully on a forkfull of eggs, wondering where to begin. Finally deciding to start with her fight with Vegeta, she told him the whole story in great detail.

Seventeen sat in silence for a moment, taking a ginger sip of his coffee and staring at his sister. "Eighteen... it wasn't anything big. I mean, it was just sex, right? It's not like you two are in love or anything, is it?"

"Kami, no!" she said quickly in defense.

'The House of Truth! Dear Kami, they were in the house of truth! Here's to hoping they just wanted to bang, and aren't in love...' he took long swallow of his coffee and spoke to his sister comfortingly.

"Alright then, don't worry about it. I can see why, though. This sort of thing happens quite often. Two mortal enemies end up in the sack because they're always all over each other anyway. As long as you don't have some illusions about him loving you, big sister, you'll be fine. Even being perfect, as we androids are, we do fall prey to human emotions such as lust."

She smirked. "You sound like an encyclopedia, Seventeen."

He shrugged and finished his coffee. "I'll clean up," he said.

"Thanks." Eighteen handed him her plate, fork, and mug. She was a bit worried by what her brother had said. What if she was falling for the saiyan?
