Time
A/N: I got some reviews as you can see, I am writing Chapter 3. Well read and enjoy! ^.^

Chapter 3: Time
As the days flew by Kendra and Duo became friends. They discovered they had more in common than they thought. Kendra sat on the counter in the bathroom watching Duo brush his teeth. "What are you going to do today?"
Duo spit out the toothpaste and looked at Kendra with a smile, "Looking for a roommate, the same thing I do every day." He took a towel and wiped his mouth. "What about you?"
Kendra shrugged, "I don't know, today is my last day off for a while then back to work... I was thinking about finding a roommate, since you are living here after you leave it will be too boring." She sighed heavily. "Are you sure you just don't want to move in with me?"
"Are you kidding? Your brother will kill me! Believe me though, I would rather live here than with some strange person that who knows could be a deranged crack head freak" Duo patted Kendra's bare leg. She was comfortable around him now and decided that she would wear men’s t-shirts to bed only.
"Heero wouldn't hurt you... He just says he will." Kendra smiled sweetly then looked down. 'I want him to stay, he and I get along so well, and Beth from work already thinks that we are a couple.' Kendra thought to her self then blushed at the thought of she and Duo getting together. True she thought he was the most handsome thing in the world, and knew that he thought she was irresistible as well. If it wasn't for Heero he would most likely just move in here.
"I don't want to take my chances, I have seen him fight, and I don’t ever want to be on the receiving end of that fist..... again." Duo said as he walked from the bathroom.
Kendra shrugged 'At least I tried' She thought to herself. She hopped off the counter then ran out of the bathroom to her bed room. She looked through her clothes and decided to wear a pair of tight hip hugger dark blue jean, jeans, a red halter top with the Japanese symbol for beauty, and a pair of red satin flip flops. She sighed as she brushed all the tangles from her hair. 'Grrr I could just kill Heero!' She glanced at her katana then shook her head, 'But I wont'
"I'll be back in two hours!" Duo shouted as he left the house.

Kendra walked up to Heero's door and knocked. Soon after he had come to the door, "Did Duo touch you?" Heero instantly grew angry.
"No, I just came to tell you to ease up on him! He is afraid that if he does become my room mate you will kill him!" Kendra growled, "Heero I was so happy when I was finally sharing the place with some one after you had left, now hegoingoing to leave and it will be lonely again!"
"Kendra, it's just that you are my little sister, I don't trust Duo, have you seen the way he looks at you? There is no way I can let him ruin you!" Heero growled back.
They spent the next two to three minutes in a glaring contest before Heero spoke up, "Fine, I will tell him to stop looking for a place, and to stay with you. Why do you have to be such a bitch?"
"Because I can, and I always get what I want!"
"That is what scares me." Heero muttered under his breath.

Duo and Kendra were quiet at dinner that night. Until Duo spoke up, "I found a place!"
Kendra felt disappointment as he spoke. "Oh really?"
"Yea some chick." Duo grinned knowing that Kendra was getting the wrong Idea.
"That's good, so when are you moving in?" Kendra didn't look up at him she felt a tinge of jealousy for Duo's new room mate.
"Already moved in." Duo smiled wide when Kendra looked up. "Your brother called me and told me to stay here and to watch over you for him, I don't know what changed his mind about me and you living together."
Kendra was beaming inside, "Neither do I..." She lied. "How long have you been here already?"
"About two weeks," Duo said as he took another bite of his pork chop.
"Good, it's your turn to get the groceries." Kendra laughed out when Duo looked at her with puppy eyes. "That doesn’t work on me, don't forget to get laundry detergent and dish soap. And tonight you can do the dishes."
Duo looked at her with his mouth opened wide, "Already giving me orders?"
"You best believe it."
