Chapter 3
Ed sprints down the hall to see Mako diving behind the steps leading upstairs/
Ed: Mako lets go!!!
Mako: Right ill get the car ready.
They sprint down the hall to the garage and jump in mako's personal car and take off with the tires squealling behind them as the speed out of the garage.
Ed: Thanks for leaving me back there
Mako: Sorry Ed i just couldn't deal with him after last time.
Ed: Yea i guess your right
Ed says remembering the embarraceing event when hues and the major made mako watch 4 hrs of slide show about maes and his daughter.
Ed: Can you do me a favor and take me to my dorm so i can pick up a couple of things for my train ride today.
Mako: Yea sure ed but i thought your trip wasn't until tomarrow?
Ed: It's not but i think i'll suprise winry by showing up early.
They drive until they get to Ed's dorm and walk in.
Mako: i would have thought i general in the military would live in a bigger room than this?
Ed: i would but the money that i make goes back to winry so she can live good. it's been bad for her since aunty penako died last year.
Mako: i see well if thatsa what you think is best to do with it then i see no harm. so what did you need to get from here if you have cloths back home?

Ed holds out his hand with a key in it.
Mako: Huh? Umm Ed whats the key for?
Ed: It goes to the door in the mines back home that winry and i always wanted to get into but it was locks and i found it in roys old desk labeled "Resonbol Mines" so i thought i might go to that door.
Mako just knods his head and walks with Ed out to the car and heads to the train station. They arive at the station and Ed gets on the train.
Mako: so Ed when are you comming back?
Ed: Im not sure but ill give you a call when i need a ride from the train station.
Mako: ok Ed ill see you when you get back
The train starts to move and Edis on his way home.
