Chapter 36



Rei was slowly walking away from the restaurant. He had his head down as he slowly walked down the sidewalk.
‘I can’t believe them. How can they just go and make a choice like that?’ He kicked the can real hard this time sending it flying out onto the street. ‘I’m old enough to make my own choices! I can just say screw it!’ He stopped in his tracks and looked up at the sky. ‘But then I will get disowned…and no matter how flaky my parents might act I don’t want to lose them.’ He sighed and then began to rub the side of his neck in frustration.
“Mew.” He heard softly.
“Hm?” He looked down and saw Fai rubbing against his leg. “Fai? What the hell are you doing all the way down here all alone?” He kneeled down and picked the small animal up. The small animal began to rub his head under the raven hair’s chin. “What if someone found you? I bet Raul is freaking out right now. Come on.” With that he began to walk off.




“Tala stop…”
“You don’t really want me to stop do you?” He smiled as he continued to stroke the Spanish boy.
“Yes…yes I do. I need to feed Fai.”
“Relax. I’m sure the little fur ball is asleep at the moment.” He began to kiss Raul’s chest making the Spanish boy give out a whimper.
“Please…”
“Please what?” He looked up at the flushed Raul with a wicked smile.
“He really needs to eat.”
The red head lowered his head in defeat and pulled away from the Spanish boy. Raul sat himself up and began to fix his clothes up.
“You act like that fur ball will die if he doesn’t eat for every five minutes.” HE sighed and slumped down on the couch. Raul lifted himself from the couch and looked down at the upset red head.
“I’m sorry Tala but he is still young and needs to feed constantly.”
“Yeah well I’m young and horny and I need to fuck constantly!” He growled.
The Spanish boy smiled and leaned down to give Tala a small peck on the lips.
“As soon as I feed him we can continue.” With that he walked over to the kitchen.
“Unless you decided to ignore me and play all day with the fur ball.”
“Tala!” Raul came running in with a look of worry.
“What’s wrong?”
“Fai isn’t in his bed”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes! Help me look for him!”
“Calm down love. I’m sure the little thing is hiding somewhere.”
“Then look!” He began to frantically look all over the dorm room calling out the small animals name. After fifteen minutes of searching the Spanish boy was on the couch sobbing.
“Raul don’t cry.”
“He’s gone! I bet he walked out when you came over! He walked out as soon as you pounced me!” More tears began to form and soon he was bawling.
“Love, don’t cry. It’s not a very nice look for you.” He began to caress the side of the Spanish boy’s face trying hard to calm the boy down.
“He’s all alone now! What if someone finds him and takes him to a science lab to experiment on him!?” He looked up at the red head with a face covered with tears and a running nose.
“We can make flyers.”
“I don’t have any pictures of him! Matilda is going to freak when I tell her!” He began to cry once more making the red head sigh. Soon there was a knock at the door.
“Baby someone is at the door. Try to calm down okay.”
Raul slowly nodded and began to wipe the tears away on his sleeve. The red head kissed the Spanish boy on the forehead and made his way to answer the door.
“Oh hey Rei.”
“Tala hey I should have guessed you would be here.” He smiled at the red head.
“Rei!” Raul quickly made his way to the raven hair.
“Raul hey why are you crying?”
“Fai is gone! I don’t for how long he has been missing! Rei I’m worried!” More tears began to form.
“Relax Raul. Look I brought you something.” He moved his book bag to his front and there sitting inside with his head popped out was Fai.
“FAI!” The Spanish boy grabbed the small animal and began to kiss him and hug him tightly. “I am sorry! I’m so sorry! I will never neglect you ever again!” He looked at the raven hair with a smile. “Thank you Rei! Thank you.”
“Anytime.” The raven hair smiled back.
“Come on Fai let’s get you some food.” With that he headed toward the kitchen.
“You want to come in?” Tala suggested with a glance.
“Sure”
The red head moved aside allowing Rei to walk inside.
“So where did you find the little hair ball?”
“He was near the restaurant Divinity Star.”
“All the way down there! Shit…”
“Yeah I’m amazed no one found him.”
“Maybe cause he is so small people couldn’t see him.”
The raven hair sat down and Tala sat next to him.
“How exactly did Fai get out?” He glanced over at the red head who began to laugh nervously.
“He jumped out the window…”
“…”
“I tackled Raul as soon as he answered the door and for I don’t know how long we had the door open.”
“You horn dog.”
“Well I’m just glad that YOU found the little guy.” He let out a sigh.
“I’m still amazed at how far he wondered.”
“So what were you doing down at that fancy joint?”
“My parents wanted to take my fiancé out for lunch.” He whispered.
“Fiancé?” He looked over at the raven hair in confusion.
“When I was younger my parents arranged a marriage with the owner of our building. In order for them to take owner ship of the company building they had to marry me off to the daughter. So they agreed to marry us when we turned eighteen.”
“Wow an arranged marriage? That sucks…but are you going to tell your folks that you are with Kai.”
“What!? Who told you I was with Kai?”
“No one. I just knew all along…oh yeah plus Kai did say a few things here and there. But that’s not the point. Are you going to tell them that you are already with someone?”
“I just can’t…I don’t know how my parents will react when they find out that I am gay…”
“If they are you parents and they truly love you then no matter what you tell them will make them love you less.”
“You think?”
“Yeah. And the way your parents are I think they will just be happy that you are happy.”
“I guess…” ‘Tala might be right…but then what about Salima?’




“One two three! One Two three! Whoa stop!”
Everyone groaned in frustration and half the dancers slumped down.
“Garland why did you stop again?” Brooklyn looked over at the tanned man with annoyance.
“I just had a crazy idea! How about it I invite a Korean singing group over to help with this production?”
“What? Garland we only have half this week until opening night?”
“Trust me! Okay everyone take five!” With that he headed toward the office room.
The orange hair let out a sigh. ‘He is still the same guy.’
“Brooklyn.”
He turned around to see Jin walking over to him.
“Yeah?”
“Rei’s parents are asking if he should up by any chance to practice.”
“No. Garland told me that he wasn’t going to show for practice today.”
“Well they seem a bit upset and worried. What should I tell them?”
“Maybe Garland knows where the kid is. I’ll go talk to them. You can search if he is around here.”
“Got it.”
They both walked to their destination. The orange hair gave the couple a smile as soon as he came up to them.
“Brooklyn have you seen our little Rei-rei?” Lanfei looked at the orange hair with a sad look.
“I haven’t actually. But don’t worry Lanfei if he isn’t here he might be with some friends.”
“See sweetie now try to calm down.” Ki Shou hugged her tightly trying to reassure her.
“Brooklyn!”
The orange hair turned around.
“Yeah?”
“He just came in.”
“Rei-rei!?” The women removed herself from her husbands hug and ran toward the stage.



“Great my parents are here.” Rei said with a tone of disappointment.
“Just be cool okay?”
“Yeah.”
“Rei-rei!” The women yelled out as she ran to her son and hugged him for dear life. She soon began to cry on her son.
“Ma please don’t cry, especially in front of everyone.”
She pulled away and smiled at the raven hair.
“I’m sorry kitten…you just had me worried.”
“Ma I’m not a child anymore so don’t freak if I walk off on my own.”
“I know…but it’s how you reacted that got me worried.”
“I’m sorry about that…I was just a bit upset of what you guys said.”
Salima and Ki Shou were soon standing behind the women.
“Son we’re sorry we sprang the news on you like that.”
“It’s okay Dad…”
“Rei?”
He looked over to the red hair girl who had on a small smile.
“What you said in the restaurant about you having a lover…”
“Salima about that…”’Can I really say it’s true?’ He began to look around and noticed that everyone was already looking at them. ‘Can I really say it in front of everyone now?’ Soon he caught Kai’s stare. The dual hair was looking at him with his same stern look. He looked back down at the girl who looked like she was about to cry. “I was just saying that in order to stay here. I have no lover.”
“Really?”
“Really.” He gave her a small smile and in return he got a tight hug.
“I’m glad…” She whispered. He began to rub the small part of her back and then he looked up to see Kai with the same look only with a hint of hurt. The dual hair turned away and walked off.
“Great news everyone!”
The entire class turned around to see a smiling Garland walking in.
“Our production will soon have special guests. Besides Gravity who has greatly helped us with the dance steps, I have booked a new Korean group who will do the opening scene for us. Dong Bong Shin Ki are coming here!”
Everyone looked at the tan man in shock.
“They will sing our opening act for us.”
“Are you serious?” Brooklyn walked over to Garland, who still had on his smile.
“Yup! They are the new group I was going to work with anyways so they agreed to join in order to promote their new album.”
Everyone soon began to cheer and talk to one another with great excitement.
“So we better work hard in order to impress. So I will let you all go early today! See you tomorrow!” With that he began to walk off followed by the orange hair.

“Rei-rei how about we go and get some ice cream?”
“I guess so.”
“Great! Come on Salima let’s go.”
“Okay.” She quickly kissed the raven hair on the cheek and walked away with Lanfei.
“Why did you lie?” Tala whispered over to the raven hair.
“Because I can’t live the life that I have been living now…I must take over my family’s company and make them proud.”
“Bull shit! Rei you can’t go on and live a life of lies.” He hissed at rei.
“I know…but who knows I might fall in love with her.” He smiled weakly at the red head and soon he began to walk away.
“Rei!”
“Let him go Tala.” Raul placed his hand on the red head’s shoulder.
“Love we can’t let him do this. He is going to screw his life over just to make his parents happy. What about Kai!? He is going to hurt…after what happened to Wyatt. Now Rei! So Kai is sometimes a cold hearted bastard but he does not deserve to hurt!”
“Tala…”
“If Rei is going to act like a selfish kid then fine! I will not let him go near my best friend.” With that he roughly move the Spanish boy’s hand away and walked off.
“Tala stop!” He dropped his head. “I’m no good at stopping others…”
“Hey kid.”
The Spanish boy jumped in surprised and saw a handsome tall man looking down at him.
“Uh Mr. Ki Shou? I thought you went for ice cream.”
“I went over to talk to Jin for a few production ideas.”
“Oh.”
“Is that red head guy your lover?” He looked down at Raul with a serious look.
“Uh…well..” He began to panic and soon was scanning the entire stage.
“Don’t freak out on me.”
“Yes…” He lightly whispered.
“That’s nice.” He smiled at the confused boy. “And you two are friends of my son correct?”
“Yes…”
“I don’t mean to sound nosy but I ended up over hearing your conversation.”
“Uh…”
“Rei he is gay right?”
The Spanish boy looked up at the older man in pure shock. The man had on a pure sincere look.
“So it’s true that he has a lover. Can you please let meet him?”

GASP! More suspense! *Evil laughter* So what do you think is going to happen/ What do you think Ki Shou is going to do when he meets Kai? I mean he already met Kai but how do you think he is going to react when he finds out that Kai is Rei’s lover? Well you will have to wait and see ya? I am still with no Internet but that is still not going to stop me from sneaking in the college computers to submit this story. HAH!
