Chapter 37




“Uh Mr. Ki Shou…I don’t know what you’re talking about.” The Spanish boy began to stutter.
“Don’t lie to me…please if you are his friend then you will want to help him right?”
“Uh?”
Raul looked at the man and lightly bit down on his lower lip thinking on what the older man said.
‘He is right. I do want to help Rei but…what will his father do if I reveal who Rei is with?’ The Spanish boy continued to think to himself while Ki Shou watched the boy nervously think to himself. ‘What would Tala do?’ He glanced up and saw the sadden look of the older man. “Please don’t tell Rei I told you.” With that Raul began to walk off and the older man began to follow.




Rei let out a sigh as Salima continued to talk about how excited she was for the wedding.
‘Damn she talks way to much.’
“Rei-rei are you feeling alright?”
“Huh?” The raven hair looked over to his mother who seemed worried. “Yeah I’m fine. Why?”
“Well your ice cream is melting all over your hand.
“Oh heh sorry I was just thinking about the show.” Rei was about to reach over for a napkin when suddenly the red head girl already began to wipe away at his arm.
“Aw how cute.” Lanfei smiled at the sight.
“Don’t worry Rei you will do just fine. I know you are a wonderful performer just like your parents.”
“Thanks.” He smiled at the girl making her lightly blush. “I better go wash my hands.” With that he stood up from his seat and made his way to the restroom. He walked inside and turned on the faucet and allowed the cold water to run down. He began to wash his hands slowly and then splashed the cold liquid at his face. He sighed and looked up at his reflection.
‘Man this sucks…I feel like I am living the life of a drama television show. What next? I will get shot during my wedding day?’
“Well if it isn’t my dear little Chinese doll.”
The raven hair quickly spun around to see Boris walking over to the sinks.
‘Just great the psycho is here…’ He burrowed his brows as he watched the platinum hair began to wash his hands.
“So I heard you will soon take over Kai’s place my dear little doll.”
“You heard right now if you will excuse me.”
“So Gravity are your parents, how interesting.”
“If you want a picture or autograph it will be twenty five dollars.” He smirked.
Boris walked over to the towels and ripped out a sheet, he began to dry his hands as he looked over at the raven hair with a smile.
“You are really a sweet thing. How about dinner one time?”
“How about a kick right up your nuts?” He hissed.
“I take that as a no, but let me warn you my little doll.” He slowly walked over to Rei. The raven hair slowly began to walk back until his back was pressed against the cold bathroom tile. Boris leaned closer to Rei making the raven hair turn his face to the side. The platinum hair only placed his lips near Rei’s ear and began to whisper. “As soon as Kai leaves you will be all alone and no one will be here to protect you. Of course when you do start to feel alone you can always come to me.” He lightly bit Rei’s ear making the raven hair roughly sock Boris had up in the jaw sending him back.
“Fuck off you freak. I don’t need Kai to protect me. You just got lucky you drugged me but the next time you want to try something stupid I will be sure to kick your ass first to make you think twice.” With that he quickly made his way out of the restroom.



Raul and Ki Shou made their way up the stairs toward the third floor. The Spanish boy walked slowly trying hard to calm his beating heart that felt like it was going to burst out any minute.
‘Just breathe Raul and pray that Kai isn’t home yet.’
A few more steps and they walked around the corner toward Kai’s door.
“Isn’t this Rei’s room?” The older man looked at the Spanish boy in confusion.
“Yes…” Raul lightly knocked at the door and they both waited for a few. Once more he knocked but with a bit more force. Still there was no answer. “Uh well I guess we should go.”
The Spanish boy turned was about to walk away when he suddenly saw Kai walking toward them.
‘Oh no…’ Raul felt the panic grow faster in him as he saw the dual hair walk over to them.
“Hello Kai.” Ki Shou said to the dual hair with a smile.
“Mr. Ki Shou. Raul what are you doing here?”
“Uh well you see…”
“I wanted to talk to you Kai.” The older man interrupted. “Do you mind if we discuss it inside?”
“I don’t see why not.” He pulled out his key and moved Raul aside; he opened the door and walked inside. The Spanish boy was about to follow him but was stopped by Ki Shou. He looked up at the older man.
“Raul do you mind if I talk to him in private?”
“Uh…Please don’t tell Rei.” He lowered his head.
“I promise I won’t say a word.” With that he walked inside leaving the Spanish boy alone. Raul soon moved away from the door and walked down the stairs toward his room.


The dual hair made his way toward the fridge and opened it up.
“Would you care for something to drink?” He looked over toward the older man who was still at the door.
“No that’s alright. I would just like to talk to you.”
“Sure. Have a seat.” He signaled toward the small kitchen table and Ki Shou accepted.
The dual hair grabbed a water bottle and sat down with the older man.
“So what would you like to talk to me about?” Kai looked at the man.
“Kai remember the first time we met? When my wife suggested that you should come tour with us?”
“It was a nice offer but I already have plans to move to Europe.”
“I know and congratulations. But the reason I came to talk to you was about Rei. He has been acting weird since we first arrived and I think it has something to do with you.”
“To tell you the truth Mr. Ki Shou, your son has had a grudge with me since we first met and of course he still does.”
“He said you stole his virginity.”
The dual hair looked away from Ki Shou and sighed.
“Like I said he has a grudge and I bet he said that so you two can just take back your offer.”
“You know Kai you remind me of a certain person I once knew in college. In fact you dc have his looks. He was my best friend and also my first love.”
The dual hair looked over at the older man with a shocked and confused look.
“Ki Shou what are you?”
“I’m bisexual…or maybe I use to be. Kai your Rei’s lover aren’t you?”
The dual hair continued to stare at the older man in disbelief.
“Who would have guessed my son would fall in love with a guy. Heh maybe it runs in the family, after all I lost my virginity to a guy too.” Ki Shou began to chuckle to himself as Kai continued to look at the man with a stun look. “He was a talented singer and rapper, and well at first I just thought he was a big obnoxious guy since he always picked on me and insulted me since my singing skills weren’t that good. One day of course during my freshmen year I discovered dancing and of course I wasn’t very good at it yet. One night I sprang my ankle when I fell of the stage. I awoke to find myself in bed with Eric sitting next to me. I still didn’t accept his kindness I just thought he was teasing me for my incident. I was proven wrong, after that he mostly spent his time helping me around and things like that. I ended up growing very attached to him later on, we became best friends and then one night after he helped me shower he confessed to me that he loved me ever since he first met me. I of course laughed and found it pretty amusing.” Ki Shou looked away from the dual hair and smiled to himself as he continued to talk about his past. “Listen to me talking here like some old man, heh well compared to you I’m sure that is how I look.” He looked back at Kai with a huge smile and with some tears formed in the corner of his eyes.
“Ki Shou…may I ask why you are telling me this?”
“I don’t know if Rei told you this but he is engaged and after this performance he will be marry to her and moving back to China.”
“He’s engaged?”
“To Eric’s daughter…”
“Eric you mean?”
“Yes my first love’s daughter. To tell you the truth Kai I only wanted Rei to be happy. The only reason I agreed to the whole engagement thing was in order to get the building and to be near him. It sounds selfish I know but I just wanted a good life for my son.”
“Well it sounds like you were only thinking about yourself and a way to still get a good fuck from your old flame. So I hope that Rei has a nice life with whoever she is as well.”
The older man let out a sigh and stood from his seat.
“So you will just let him go like that? I mean it seems to me that you still care for him.”
The dual hair looked up at the man a bit annoyed.
“You can’t fool me with your cold ‘I’m a bastard look’ I was the same way.” He winked at Kai. “If you think you can be happy too then fine, I will allow my son to marry her. It’s up to the both of you in fact. Well then I will see you at your last stand okay?” With that he headed out the door.




“I wonder what happened to your father Rei-rei?”
“I’m sure dad is either busy showing off his moves or even flirting with poor innocent college girls.” He sighed imagining his father being a real wolf around the girls.
“Don’t be silly Rei-rei. Your father would never show off his moves.”
The raven hair looked over at his mother with a confused look.
“Ma did you even hear what I said after that?”
“Yes that he would be flirting with girls.”
“And that doesn’t bother you?”
“Why should it?”
“Cause he might end up having an affair.”
“Don’t be silly kitten. He would never do that.”
“Fine…whatever Ma.”
“Rei?”
“Yeah Salima.”
“Would you ever cheat on me when we get married?”
“What kind of a question is that!?” He pulled away from her and stared at her in disbelief.
“Well I mean I’ not saying you aren’t faithful, but you know.”
“No I don’t know Salima. Tell me do you think that I am going to go find me a hooker and just bang her for the fun of it? Or even go to a gay club and get me any innocent pretty boy to use for the night?” He half yelled to the now frightened girl.
“Rei I…”
“Rei-rei why are you yelling at Salima?” The older woman walked over to the two and moved the girl aside to look at her son in anger.
“Well why the hell is she asking me such idiotic questions? We aren’t even married yet and she is already saying shit like that? Ma come on she is being a total idiot!” Suddenly he was slapped. He placed his hand on the stinging cheek and stared at his mother in shock.
“Rei-rei how can you say things like that? What happen to my little boy who would respect others? What happened to my little boy who was always happy?”
“Ma…”
“You changed kitten and not for the good. You have become rude and angry. Why? What happened? Do you hate me? Do you hate me for making you leave for asking you to take over the business?”
“Mama I don’t hate you….”
“Then why are you like this Rei-rei?” Tears began to form in her eyes and she stared at her sadden son.
“A lot has happened…”
“Tell me? Please tell me. I’m your mother and friend you can tell me anything.”
“Not this Ma. This is different.”
“How?”
“He has a lover that is how it is different.”
“Ki Shou?” The wife looked behind the raven hair and saw her husband walking toward them with a smile.
“A lover? But Rei said…”
“He lied. He is just being a pig headed guy at the moment.”
“Dad what are you talking about!? I have no lover I told you.”
“Okay son then why not tell him that.” He pointed behind him and there walking forward was Kai.
“Kai…what the hell are you doing!?” Rei hissed at the dual hair.
“I’m just here to fight what is rightfully mine.” He smirked at the raven hair and looked over at the now shocked half dead looking Salima.
“So you’re the girl who is planning to marry the idiot here? I am sorry to disappoint you girly but the idiot already belongs to me.”
“What are you saying?” She whispered
“Your fiancé is gay.”

Ta-da! Man I think this chapter sucked big time. I am just having such a hard time at the moment. I am being piled up with so many assignments since finals are so close by. I still need five large drawings for my art class and two huge English papers that I still have not completed. O_O HOLY CRAP! Ahem anyways what did you think? Sorry I am taking awhile to update. Oh but I got my Internet back ^_____^ Yay thank you daddy! Anyways so now you know that I am still back just as slow as a turtle at the moment.
