Saiyans are an ancient, aggressive race. Humanoid but not human, their physiology features several distinct traits such as: Double jointed fingers and toes (structured for enhanced climbing). Sharp, angular nails (remnants of claws). Lustrous, almost pelt like hair on head and genital areas (tail included). Simian behaviors (grooming, pack bonding, climbing, group clustering). High metabolisms (Normal body temperature is 101.3 degrees). Saiyans have one eye color: black. Saiyans possess primitive dna linking their current evolution with their ancestral state (oozaru). Now a saiyan's tail is many things: sensory organ, sexual organ, and a means of communication. Should you meet a saiyan on the street, keep an eye on his rear. Lips lie, but tails tell. 1. Tail tightly coiled about waist. This indicates formality, or lack of trust. The sensitive appendage could be injured flailing about carelessly. In an active warrior lifestyle, this is most often seen in everyday and social situations. 2. Tail loose, waving about. Conversely in an informal setting with no threat of injury, saiyans will 'free up' their tails. Often indicates comfort, relaxation. 3. Tail waving about sensuously or undulating. A sexual come on. It basically is saying, 'get your ass in bed!' 4. Tail coiling. In chibis, this is an instinctual 'balancing' and trust behavior. Often small ones will wrap their tails around arms or legs, usually those of family members. Cubs have a sense of security from falling by coiling tightly. In adults, it signifies mild annoyance and confusion. 5. Tail crimping. When agitated, saiyans will 'crimp' or 'crack' their tails, giving the appearance of breaks. Indicates stress, possibly harmful. 6. Tail puffing. In some situations where instincts warn, the tail will fuzz to twice normal size, giving the appearance of a hairbrush. A fine mist of musk emanates from the tail to induce desire. 12. Tail wrapping. Follows sexual activity in adults, an instinctual behavior of closeness and comfort. Chibis from the same blood also tail wrap through pack bond instinct. 13. Tail hooking. Young saiyans and chibis hook their tails as a gesture of stubborness and defiance. 14. Tail whipping. An aggressive motion where the tail is used as a weapon. 15. Tail slapping. A happy saiyan will thrash his tail carelessly, or thump it against objects. 16. Tail ruffling. Another sexual gesture where adults rub their tails together. Often causes quick orgasm. 17. Tail binding. Chibis will wind their tails in a ball when fearful or confused. Also indicates lack of familiarity, trust. This behavior usually stops by the third year. Saiyans use their tails to carry cubs, freeing their hands for other activities. Older chibis are often soothed by playing with the appendage, and bite less (after the first year).
