Ride the Storm part three

Hey guys, sorry for the long wait, but I had writer\'s block for ages and had been brought down with a chest infection, but now I\'m up and running again. So no with the story. and don\'t worry, I won\'t ditch this story. I can\'t stand the thought of leaving a story unfinished.

Ray didn\'t know how long he sat there with Tyson curled up next to him, but he knew it had been awhile as his arms and legs felt stiff and cramped from not moving. He was not going to move though, for fear of waking Tyson.

Ray was worried. What Kai had done to him was so unlike Kai that Ray couldn\'t help but think maybe Kai hadn\'t intentionally done it. He was confused and didn\'t know what to do. What with Kai being brought up by his Grandfather and Boris, two extremely heartless men who cared for nothing but world domination, he had to be extremely mixed up inside.

Ray sat there thinking for awhile, when Max and Kenny, who had finally come back, came through the door, stopping dead at the sight before them.

\"What happened here?\" Max asked, stepping over to them.

\"Kai happened is what. I knew something had happened as soon as I heard Tyson call for me,\" Ray replied.

\"Kai did this?! But that\'s so unlike him. Why would he just decide to attack Tyson all of a sudden? They\'re best friends for crying out loud,\" Kenny asked, horrified at the thought.

\"I don\'t know. All I can guess at, is that when Tyson shut us all out and didn\'t even talk to us, it just got to Kai enough that he decided to take matters into his own hands. He just did it the wrong way. I think we should talk to him,\" Ray said. \"Find out what he was thinking.\"

\"Good idea,\" replied Max. \"But what about Tyson? What do we do about him?\"

\"I\'m not sure. When I came in, he was curled up in the corner, and he lashed out at me when I got too close. He thought Kai was still here. Where is he anyways?\" Ray asked.

\"He left earlier. We tried asking where he was going. He just said he needed to think. That was all we got out of him,\" Kenny said.

\"Well I\'m more concerned about Tyson at the mo. I want to talk to Kai, but I don\'t think he will trust us enough yet. He only ever opened up to Tyson. Not to mention we can\'t leave him here,\" Ray said, looking fearful.

\"Hey, I know. What about Tala and Bryan?\" Max suddenly piped. \"Surely they of all people would know what Kai is going through, what he may be thinking. Why don\'t we ask them to come here for a few days or so.\"

\"That\'s a great idea Maxie. Why don\'t you go call them?\" Ray asked.

\"Ok,\" Max said. He left the room to make the call.

\"I\'ll go and put some coffee on,\" Kenny said, thinking it best if he got out the way as Tyson looked to be stirring. He left the room at Ray\'s nod.

\"Hey there,\" Ray said softly as Tyson looked up at him with slightly dazed and confused lavendar eyes. *He looks sooo gorgeous like that,\" Ray thought.

\"What happened?\" Tyson asked in a hoarse voice. Then it crashed on him. Kai had raped him!! Why would he do that?! Tyson broke down, clinging to Ray\'s shirt and sobbing his heart out.

\"Easy Ty, easy,\" Ray said in a comforting voice. \"I\'m here for you.\"

\"What happened? Why would Kai do that to me?\" Tyson asked in despair.

\"I don\'t know Tyson, but we\'re gonna find out. Don\'t you worry ok? We\'re giving Tala and Bryan a call to see if they\'ll come over and help out,\" Ray explained to the still distraught bluenette.

\"Ok,\" Tyson said in a small voice. He suddenly looked down and noticed his state of undress, not to mention what a mess he\'d made of Ray\'s shirt. \"Sorry,\" he mumbled, blushing furiously. He scrambled up to find some new clothes to wear and once he was dressed, turned back to Ray.

Ray got up and went to Tyson, who looked a little wary but didn\'t lash out this time. Ray reached out and drew Tyson into his arms, holding him gently. \"Don\'t worry Ty, it\'s only a shirt. I got more. Are you alright now?\" he asked gently, looking at Tyson\'s still red eyes. Tyson nodded.

\"Good. Why don\'t we clean you up and get some coffee? then we can see how Max \'s conversation with Tala went,\" Ray suggested, to which Tyson nodded, looking a bit better.

They left the room and went to the bathroom, where Tyson cleaned himself up, then went to the sitting room and Kenny brought out the coffee as they sat down. Max came in and plonked himself down on the sofa, sighing.

\"What\'s up?\" Ray asked.

\"Ah, just the usual with those two. I swear they\'re like rabbits. I had to yell down the phone at least a dozen times coz they wouldn\'t stop going at each other,\" Max said, blushing a little. Tyson, Ray and Kenny sniggered. They all knew about Tala and Bryan\'s relationship and how they couldn\'t keep their hands off one another.

\"Are they coming?\" Ray asked.

\"Yeah. They said they\'d leave on the first flight out of Russia, and they\'re bringing Spencer and Ian too as they want to live over here somewhere apparently. I managed to get whether they were coming over out of them after Bryan finally stopped kissing Tala\'s neck,\" Max explained with a dramatic sigh.

\"At least they\'re coming over. That\'s what counts. We need to find out what\'s wrong with Kai,\" Kenny said. \"Yeah,\" they all replied.

\"What\'s up my peeps,\" someone suddenly yelled, scaring them out of their skins. They looked round and saw Grandpa standing there, brandishing a kendo sword.

\"Uh, nothing Grandpa,\" Tyson replied. \"You\'re training now? Why?\" he asked when he saw his Grandpa with the sword.

\"Because T-man, I gotta run tomorrow. I\'m going to meet your Brother and his new lover at the ships. We\'ll be staying in a hotel over night though. Will you be ok here till then?\" Grandpa asked.

\"We\'ll be fine Gramps,\" Tyson said. \"Who is Hiro with?\" he asked.

\"You just wait and see,\" Grandpa replied. \"I don\'t know myself.\"

Tyson, Ray, Max and Kenny sweatdropped.

\"Hey, where\'s K-man?\" Grandpa asked, noticing his peeps were short by one.

\"Oh, he just had to nip out to get something, and to train,\" Kenny repied quickly, thinking of an excuse as he knew what Tyson\'s Grandfather was like. Tyson threw him a grateful look.

\"Ok then. I\'m gonna go finish my training, then pack,\" Grandpa said, leaving the room.

\"Thanks Kenny,\" Tyson said.

\"Sure thing,\" Kenny said.

\"So why did you hide it from your Grandpa?\" Ray asked.

\"Because Grandpa is nice and all, but if he ever found out I was hurt, he would be down that person\'s throat quicker than a fly with crap,\" Tyson replied, sweatdropping.

\"Oh, I see,\" Ray said, gaping along with Max.

\"Close your mouths. You\'ll catch flies,\" Tyson said, giggling.

\"Sorry. Just not used to hearing you cursing,\" Max said.

\"Oh, right. Sorry,\" Tyson said sheepishly with his hand behind his head. \"Hey, where\'s Kai got to? It\'s late,\" he pointed out, looking at the sky that had begun to darken.

\"Oh great. He\'s done another disappearing act,\" Kenny said, sighing.



Right. I\'m gonna leave it there guys. Hope you enjoyed that chapter. Who is Hiro\'s lover gonna be? I don\'t know myself yet. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Where has Kai gone as well? Could he have sneaked off and met Hiro? Please review. It keeps me going.
