Nightmare
Vegeta stared into the face of his dieing son. Even as a half Sayjin, his body could no longer take the abuse it had been given. The muscles around Mirais heart had deteriorated to the point where simply beating was a strenuous effort. It was his face that was the most interesting. Mirai was relaxed. Calm even. No signs of pain apparent on the defined features of the lavender beauty.
The doctors said it was a combination of the drugs and the shock of seeing Vegeta that threw him into this state. Trunks would never wake again. He would simply fade away one day and out of their lives forever.
‘Damn it’ Vegeta cursed. The proud Sayjin didn’t feel guilty often, but this was the exception. His son, whom he swore to protect, would die very soon without knowing how much he cared. Or how sorry he was for putting him in this state.
The tears that threghtened his stoic face were as tenacious as he. Salty lines rolled down his cheeks as Mirai’s chi began to flicker. A DNR order was signed by the greiving mother when she was told of the damage to his brain. Better off dead than in a Vegetable state, which is an undeniable hell for a Sayjin. Flickering followed by the gasping for air, than silence…

Vegeta shot up in a cold sweat waking a rather concerned blue haired scientist.
“You okay Vegeta?...” She asked, concern written all over her face.
Vegeta grumbled a “fine” before retreating out of the room and down the hall. ‘It’s funny how a person can wake from a dream and forget reality’ the Prince thought peeking into the blue room at the end of the corridor. There sleeping were two powerful warriors from the future engaged in an unconcious battle for the bed and sheets.
Smiling, the uptight Sayjin made his way back to bed satisfied that his dreams would produce a better image.

Vegeta: “What was that?”
Mirai: “Otousan, you’re a sap”
Goku: ::swipes blankets::
Mirai: “Hey!!”
Blue Ki: “Find your happy place guys” ;P
