LA LI HO!
Oh wow I am sorry for the long delay. I have just finished my finals Woot! *Dances around* Anyways now I am free to type away until my little heart decides to stop. O_o I make it sound like I can die any minute now.
Ray 4 Ever: You wrote telling me about Garland not knowing about Rei and Kai but I did actually make him know previous chapters ago. I just recall about that part. So D’Oh my bad I screwed up. But eh Rei denied it and well Garland didn’t really mention it as if he knew so eh let us just say mom confessed everything for Rei ya? Okay and hey I think I got insulted in Philippines! Well I’m not sure but the person told me if I wish to find out what the whole thing said that I should learn to read that language. Well isn’t that nice. ^^ If anyone wishes to insult or flame me do it in English ya? Anyways I know I have a lot of bad grammar and spelling at times. I end up forgetting a letter or word cause I am busy thinking it in my mind and I think I typed it up. So forgive my poor English. I regret to say that I mostly fell asleep in classes. ^^; Yes I was a bad student in my entire school experience. Oh well enjoy!!!





Chapter 40




Rei waited under the rain. He heard the horn getting louder but he did not move. He stood there and waited for his quick death to arrive.
‘Farewell…’
The raven hair opened his eyes and saw the car was about to hit him when suddenly he was roughly pushed aside. The sound of the screeching tires was heard and soon the sound of a body hitting the car hard followed. Rei slowly lifted himself up and looked over to where he was standing. His eyes widen at the body that was thrown across the ground. The driver of the car quickly came out in pure horror and panic and was busy screaming sorry over and over. The raven hair crawled quickly over to the dead looking person. He saw the puddle of blood slowly surrounding the body.
“No... no his wasn’t suppose to happen!” He began to look down at the body. He then turned his attention to the panicked driver “Call an ambulance! Hurry and call for help now!”
The person looked down and nodded he ran back to his car and began to dial on his cell phone.
“This wasn’t supposed to happen. Please hang in there. Don’t die on me. I’m sorry I’m sorry! Dad don’t you die on me!!!!”






“Rei-rei!” Lanfei quickly ran over to where her son was seated. The raven hair held his head down and didn’t respond as the women kneeled down in front of him. “Where is he!? Where is your father!? Rei-rei what happened!? Tell me!?”
“Mrs. Kon?” The voice of a woman was heard.
Lanfei turned around and saw a tall brunette women with glasses and a white coat stood in front of them.
“Are you Mrs. Kon?”
“Yes? My husband! Is he!?” The women stood up and made her way toward the doctor.
“Mrs. Kon, please calm down. Your husband is still alive. His condition however is critical. He is suffering from a fractured skull and spine. His left rib is broken and a piece of bone fracture punctured his lung. His right leg is completely shattered and the leg muscles are torn. Mrs. Kon I am not sure if your husband will survive throughout the night. He might or he might not.”
“No…no he will survive! Please say he will survive!” Tears began to fall down the sides of her cheeks.
“I cannot say. He is at the moment unconscious and as I said before in a critical state. We will observe him and of course do our very best to help him.”
“No you must save him! Your best is not going to cut it! You will save him! You must save him!” Lanfei slowly dropped to her knees and gripped onto the doctor’s leg and began to cry harder. “You can’t let him die! He will make it! You are the best here! I heard the doctors here are the best! You can’t let him die like that! He isn’t supposed to die! He is supposed to dance with me for our son’s dance production! We are supposed to dance in front of my son and all of his friends! We are supposed to dance! That is our life!”
“Mrs. Kon please calm yourself. We will do our very best to save your husband. At the moment his condition is unstable. I am sorry that there is nothing more I can do or say to you. But please calm yourself. Please.” The doctor removed herself from the women and slowly made her way.
Lanfei began to cry harder and she laid herself on the ground and began to chant “no” over and over again.
‘Dad…why? No one was suppose to save me…why did you do that?’ The raven hair lifted his head up and looked over to see his mother being helped up by two nurses. ‘It’s my fault…it’s my fault I did this to you.’ Tears soon began to blur out his vision. Soon he felt someone hugging him tightly. He looked and saw his mother who was clinging to him for dear life. The women began to cry hard on the raven hair. Rei wrapped his arms around her. “I am sorry mother…I’m sorry….”





Hours passed by and the raven hair was in the waiting room with his mother who was now softly sobbing.
‘This is all a bad dream…I will soon wake up…this never happened.’
“Rei-rei…” The small voice broke Rei’s thought. The raven hair turned over to look at his mother who was resting her head on the armchair.
“Ma?”
“Rei-rei…how did it happen? Were you two goofy around and weren’t paying attention to the traffic?” She looked over to her son with her eyes red and puffy.
“No…I wasn’t with dad?”
“Tell me what happened? How did this happen Rei-rei?” She sat up and looked at her son with pure pain in her eyes.
Rei quickly turned his head and clutched onto his damped jeans.
‘I can’t tell her…this happened because of me…I killed my father…’
“Rei-rei?”
He looked over to her and saw fresh new tears forming in her eyes.
“Ma I…”
“Lanfei!” A voice was heard coming from the elevators.
They both looked over and saw Garland running in with Brooklyn and Jin following behind.
“Garland!’ The women quickly ran to the man and hugged him tightly.
“Lanfei. God what happened? How is Ki Shou?” The tall man began to rub her back while she cried on him.
“I don’t know what happened? I don’t know what to do! The doctor said he is in a critical stage and that he might not make it!” The women began to cry harder.
“Shh Lanfei everything will be alright. Ki Shou is a tough guy. He will make it I know it.” The man hugged the women tighter and buried his head in her hair. “He will make it.”
Rei watched the two hugging and soon he felt a hand resting on is shoulder. He looked up and saw Brooklyn and Jin looking down at him with pain in their eyes.
‘Don’t look at me like that? If you look at me like that…then I know I am not dreaming!’ His mind began to scream.
“Rei how are you feeling?” The orange hair asked as he sat down next to the raven hair.
“That I should be the one in dad’s place…”
“Don’t say that. It wasn’t your fault Rei.” Jin sat next to Brooklyn and looked over at the raven hair.
“Yeah. The guy wasn’t paying attention. But don’t worry your dad will make it. He is a strong guy.” Brooklyn tried to smile at rei.
“No…it is my fault! It is my entire fault! I did it! I got dad into this mess! And because of me he might die!” Rei stood up and moved away from the now confused men. Tears were falling down as he stared at the two.
“Rei-rei…kitten it isn’t your fault.” The women made her way toward her son. She was about to hug him when he suddenly moved away.
“Ma you don’t understand! I was going to kill myself! I was planning on committing suicide. But dad…I don’t know how he saw me and I don’t know how he got to where I was but.” He looked up at his mother. “But he pushed me aside and that is how he got into that accident! I did it! I killed dad! I wanted to end my life but instead I got dad killed!” Suddenly his mother slapped him hard. He didn’t turn his face; he stood with his head turned to the side and the stingy pain on his cheek.
“How could you!? What was going through your mind!? How could you think of killing yourself!? You stupid boy! You stupid stupid boy!” She suddenly began to hit the boy hard on the chest. “How could you!? Why!? WHY!? Now look what you did! Your father might not live because of your stupid selfish act! How could you do this to us!? Why were you going to do that!? You idiot!” The women continued to hit him.
“Lanfei please calm yourself.” Garland pulled the women away from the raven hair. The women began to thrash hard trying to break away from the tall man’s grip.
“How could you!? You are not my son!? You are not my son!?” The woman was soon screaming louder with tears streaming down her flushed tone skin.
“Lanfei calm yourself. This was all a accident.” Brooklyn walked over to the women and tried to calm her down and Garland continued to hold her.
“WHY!?” She screamed one more time before she collapsed onto the tiled floor.
“Lanfei!” All three men yelled out as the woman suddenly fainted.
“Jin go get a nurse in here! Rei get some water.” The orange hair yelled out.
The raven hair looked over at the woman and then made a dash for it out of the room.
“Rei!” Garland called out.


Rei ran out of the hospital and continued to run no t knowing where his legs were taking him. His lungs soon began to burn; the rain roughly hit his face as he ran full speed to his unknown destination.
The raven hair lost his footing and tripped over, he landed smack hard onto the wet cement and he began to cry.
‘Why? Why is this happening? Dad I m sorry…dad please live. You don’t have to live for me but please live for mom!’ Rei sat on his knees and looked up to the dark skies. “Please don’t let him die! Is this your way of punishing me for falling in love with a man? If so take me instead! Don’t take my father. If I must suffer for whatever sin I have committed then please let me suffer and please let my parents be happy once more.” He soon began to beat his fists onto the cement. “Please!” He repeated over and over as he continued to beat his fists hard onto the ground until slowly they started to bleed.






Kai was sitting down in the library studying. He turned the page when suddenly a loud crash was heard.
“Kai!”
The dual hair looked over and saw Takao running down to where he was studying.
“What do you want big mouth?” Kai said in annoyance.
“Kai Rei’s dad is in the hospital!”
“What?”
“Raul called us and told us. Ki Shou pushed Rei aside who was about to get hit by a car.”
“Is he?”
“Ki Shou is in critical state…they say he might not make it tonight. But other then that Rei ran out and well he has been missing for about three hours now!”
Kai stood up and looked at the bluenette in shock.
“His mother…I am not sure but what Brooklyn told Raul is that Rei was trying to committee suicide.”
“What!?”
“His mother freaked out and said some harsh things to him. He ran out. They are worried about him. They are worried he might try to kill himself once more. Mihaeru, Tala, Raul and a bunch of others are looking for him. Kai you need to help us.”
“Let us hurry.” With that Kai grabbed his jacket and ran out of the library followed by Takao.






Rei was seated behind the hospital building. His fists were injured and dripping with blood. He sat there limp as he continued to allow his blood run out. He heard sirens he heard the staff yelling out orders. He was able to hear people crying. He was listening to death and the sounds of many ho were soon being dragged down by it.
‘Why can’t I wake up already?’ The raven hair tilted his head up and looked up t the now lightly clearing skies. Suddenly his phone began to ring. With his broken hand he dug inside his pocket and pulled out the phone. He chuckled. ‘I could have called the ambulance myself…maybe then dad would have…’ The phone continued to ring. He looked at the caller ID and it read unknown.
“Hello?” He answered.
“Where are you!?”
“Kai?”
“Tell me where are you!?
“In hell.”
“Idiot tell me where you are now!”
“Why do you care?”
“Damn it Rei! Your dad is at the moment dying! You are being selfish like this! He needs you at the moment! Now tell me where you are!”
Rei sat in silence for a while.
“Rei…” Kai said in a voice full of pain.
“Behind the hospital. I guess near the parking garage but hidden in the bushes.” With that he hung up.
After a few moments of being alone he heard the screeching of tires. He looked over to his right and saw Kai zooming in quickly. The dual hair parked in the middle of the road and quickly made his way toward where Rei was seated.
The raven hair looked up with tears running down his face.
“Kai…I don’t want him to die.” He whispered. The dual hair kneeled down and embraced the broken down boy in his arms.
“Kai this is like a dream! I want him to be well again. I don’t want my father to die.” Rei continued to sob.
“He won’t die. I promise you your father will be all right in the morning. You will see. Your father will be wide awake tomorrow morning.” He hugged Rei tighter and soon tears began to fall down Kai’s face.





Rei slowly opened his eyes. He quickly began to scan the room and soon felt a huge weight enter his heart. He was not in his bedroom; instead he was inside the hospital waiting room. He looked down and saw that his hands were wrapped. He looked around the room and saw the dual hair sleeping next to him. He saw Garland and the other two men sleeping across from them. He looked over to the doorway and saw his mother leaning against the doorframe. The raven hair stood up and slowly walked over to her. He stood a few inches away from her and he took in a deep breath.
“Mother…”
He got no response.
“You don’t have to forgive me. I just want to say that.”
“Kitten why? Why did you think by ending your life you would stop suffering?” She kept her back still facing him.
“I didn’t want it to happen like this. Ma you two were not suppose to.”
“Suppose to what? You didn’t expect that by being selfish in killing yourself that it would not have affected us?!” She turned around to look at her son with pure pain in her eyes. “Why? Rei-rei this isn’t like you. I don’t know you anymore. What happened to my sweet little boy who was always happy?”
“Ma…” He threw himself on her and hugged her tightly. He soon began to cry on her. “I am sorry! I didn’t want this to happen to dad! I would never want to hurt you.”
“I know kitten…your father will pull through. He is a strong man. You’ll see.” She soon began to cry with him.
“Mrs. Kon?” The voice of the doctor was heard.
They turned and saw the doctor looking at them with a bit of sadness in her face. “Your husband…”
“No…”
Rei looked at the doctor with wide eyes.
‘No…please say it isn’t so….’

GASP In parenthesis! Is Ki Shou? Well I won’t say or else I might kill it ya? Oh wow it looks like this story might continue longer after all. Oh and wow I realized it is a sad and angst type of story as well. But hey don’t worry it will soon change to the way it use to be. Well it might. Anyways sorry if this chapter is so short.
