Oh yes I had a reviewer tell me that the performance from last chapter was disappointing and I agree with you. I was upset because I had the whole thing planned out and all but due to a lot of things happening I was slowly losing a lot of my ideas cause my head was being filled with unwanted thoughts. -_-

Chapter 55

Rei slowly walked inside the dark room. He dropped his jacket onto the ground, not even caring where it landed. He placed his keys onto the counter of the kitchen and made his way towards his bedroom. The raven hair stumbled inside his dark room and fell forwards onto his bed.

He buried his head into the matters and bit down on his lip as he felt anger boiling inside of him. When he finally felt as if his life was going to turn back around it just got worse. He should have stopped Boris, should have kicked his sorry ass or even killed the platinum hair. But he couldn’t.

‘What now? If I do anything he might ruin Kai’s career…I should tell him. I should talk to Kai maybe he will be able to do something about it.’ He thought to himself as he rolled over to rest on his side. ‘Why did you leave me alone again Kai?’ he closed his eyes and allowed the tears stream down his face as he slowly began to drift to sleep.

A pair of hands wrapped around his waist scaring him, he felt a body press behind him and he began to panic. He was about to fight back when suddenly he felt two strong arms wrap around his waist pulling him closer if possible. He felt someone nuzzling his neck and soon hot breath next to his ear making him shiver.
“What’s wrong?” a deep voice whispered.

“You just startled me.”

“Sorry.” He began to kiss behind his ear sending shivers down the raven hair’s spine.

“Um Kai how did you get in?” he whispered as the other continued his slow and wonderful treatment of tender kissing.

“What time is it?”


“20 till 9”

“Oh well then did you forget we are about to leave in three hours?”

“Good we will be waiting for you outside of the gates with Garland.”

He hung up and placed his phone down. The raven hair just sat in his place for a bit. Thinking. He wished time would just freeze, so he could just think. Figure out exactly what he needs to do in order to get his life going normal again. He shook his head and chuckled. He knew being in love with another guy is not normal. Normal was the way his life use to be. Was he feeling regret? The pain in his chest was making him wish that he never left his hometown in China, that he just stayed like his parents asked him to. To be with his old friends, and even end up marrying Salima, having kids and just being a normal person…


He sighed and just got up from the bed to get ready to meet up with his parents.

“Hey Ma.” He gave his mother a huge smile; of course it was a false one. In truth he was so upset he just wanted to lock himself up and forget about everything.


“Kitten! I am sorry you had to wake up early. But this is out last day.” She smiled and pulled her son into a tight embrace.


The raven hair just sighed and hugged her back.


“Don’t worry about it Ma, I don’t mind. So where are we going?”


“Not sure. Garland is going to take us he didn’t say where.”


The young man being spoken of stuck his head out from the driver’s window, “Hey you two hurry up! Or else we won’t have enough time!”


“Don’t yell at your elder!” She called back with a smile on her lips. “Let’s go kitten.”


He nodded and grabbed a hold of her hand, surprising her. He helped her towards the car and with gentlemen features opened the door and helped her in.


As soon as everyone was seated the dark skinned man drove out into traffic and they drove towards their destination.

“Good morning! And welcome to ‘Violet Sky’ a petite dark haired girl came to the group with a smile. “A party of how many?”


“Four.” Spoke Garland.


“Alrighty! Please follow me!” She grabbed four menus from the podium


She walked on ahead of them with the group following them. The restaurant was semi-full. People seated at their tables, booths, enjoying a nice warm meal of nutrition. She stopped at the end of the restaurant and waited for them all to take their seats. They all sat themselves and she handed them each a menu.


“Some one will be here to attend you. Please have a pleasant meal.”


They all thanked her and began to look over their menus. Another young lady with brown hair came towards them and placed eating utensils and napkins on the table.

“Good morning folks, I am Linda and I will be your waitress for today.” She pulled back and pulled a small booklet out of her apron.


“Would you like to start off with any drinks?”


“Let me have two coffees and a cup of hot chocolate.” Garland smiled at the girl.


“Orange juice for me please.”


“Okay! I will be back with your drinks.” She smiled at the group and left them.


“This is nice. I am so happy we are having breakfast together. Just like a big happy family” Lanfei smiled as she looked over at her husband and son, and her adoptive son as she liked to call him.


“Rei your performance was brilliant, I didn’t get to say it to you. But son you did us so proud!” Ki Shou grinned at the raven hair.


“Thanks. You two need to go? I would really like it if you stayed a little longer. I realized I didn’t get to spend any time with you at all.”


“Would love that Rei-rei, but we already paid for our tickets and of course we can’t spend anymore money on a hotel they are most expensive. Plus your father needs to recover and rest up more.”


Rei looked over at his father who was reading over the menu. He felt horrible once more realizing that he caused his father’s condition and because of him they weren’t able to be a normal family. He wished there was some way to go back in time, of course that was not possible.


“Dad…I am truly sorry. I mean if it weren’t for my stupid thinking you wouldn’t have gone through all that…we would have been able to spend time together as a family. Yet because of your accident, you needed to suffer in the hospital and Ma needed to slowly suffer seeing you in that condition. I am so sorry,” he bowed his head “Please let me some how pay you back, I can go back with you guys to China and take over the school, and we can spend time as a family once more…”


“Rei…hey come on we are here to have a pleasant breakfast as a family, and just enjoy the little amount of time we have. I never and still do not blame you for what happened to me. Accidents do happen, and even though we did not go fishing or just cruise around finding girls, or whatever dads and sons do I still feel as we had a great time with you.”


“That’s right kitten, we all suffered enough already. We just want to start anew and forget about everything. So don’t beat yourself anymore, it is all over and we would love for you to live your life as a normal young man would, and just make us proud by continuing your love of dancing and make something of yourself.”


The two looked at their son across of them and gave him two sincere smiles.


“Mama, Dad…”


They went silent, only the small chattering of the other costumers and the sounds of the kitchen was heard around them.


“Hey you better not start crying on us!” Garland interrupted the silence of the group and ruffled Rei’s hair.


Ki Shou chuckled, “Rei you are indeed a silly boy. Now let us just enjoy today.”


The raven hair nodded making his parents smile at him with sincere and lovable smiles. Soon the waitress came back with the drinks in her hand and placed them in front of the owners.


“So are you folks ready to order or would you like some more time?”


“No we are ready.” Garland smiled at the girl.


With that they all placed an order and continued to enjoy each other’s company, knowing it would be their last day as a family.


Rei walked out with his mother, her arm hooked around his as they stepped out of the restaurant. Garland and Ki Shou were still inside paying the bill.


“I am going to miss you so much my kitten.” Lanfei rested her head on his shoulder as they waited for the two men to come out.


“I’m going to miss you too. Next time when I get a break I will visit you guys.”


“That would be nice.”


“Ready to go?” Garland called out as he and the older man came out of the building.


“I really wish I could stay longer.” Lanfei pulled away and looked at her son.


“Ma,” Rei pulled her in for a hug. “ Come on, at least start crying at the airport.” The raven hair smiled at his mother.
“Attention please, flight 319 is boarding rows 1-5” The voice of a woman called out through the speakers looming over the waiting area.


“What row are you guys? The raven hair looked over at the group.”


“Row 6”


Rei nodded and looked away “Well then I guess we better say goodbye huh?”


The Korean youth looked over at the sad looking raven hair and smiled “Hey we had a great time. This was the longest time we ever been overseas.” Jejung said with a tone of gladness (A/N:I know his name is spelled another way I always knew that but this is a way so you can pronounce it, also a magazine I have of them; well they had it spelled that way so I stuck with it plus it was easier to type for me. XD Yes I am lazy)


“Hey that is so true!” Changmin interrupted, “Usually we would be overseas for two weeks but this time we actually had a real long time and did end up sightseeing ad having more fun then usually!”


“And that means we will get scolded when we get back.” Yunho shook his head with a smirk on his lips.


Rei looked over at him, “You serious? You guys are going to get in trouble because of all of this?”


“Hey we spoke with the managers and the ones staying with us didn’t mean to mind, after all they are getting Garland in helping their company by teaching a lot of their artists. So highly doubt they will be angry,” Junsu spoke next.


“Of course our fans are a tad annoyed and sad.” Yucheon chuckled.


The group just laughed at their conversation and spoke on how happy they would be to get back to Korea and tell their fans the amazing adventure they had.


“I hope you decide to visit us one day, “Jejung looked at Rei and placed a hand on his shoulder giving it a pat, “We would love to show you around and hey even have you perform with us.”


“Sounds great, maybe during break I will so visit.”


“Great!”


“Now seating row 6-8, seating row 6-8” the woman’s voice from earlier called out, informing the group that it was time for them to say farewell.


“Guess it is time for us to go” Yunho got up and picked up his backpack.


The rest of the group soon followed him, Rei stood up as well and with each of them he gave them a powerful handshake and a hug.


Yunho pulled away from the hug and smiled at the raven hair, “You did a fabulous job and keep up the great work!”


Changmin came up next and pulled Rei into a friendly hug and patted his back, “Tell your mother I enjoyed cooking with her and I hope she comes too so we can show her a lovely time. And thank you for making us feel welcome.”


Yucheon smacked Rei hard on the back and pulled him into a hug as well, “You showed us a unforgettable time and please keep up the hard work!”


Junsu moved up to the raven hair and stuck out his hand and they shook hands, then he gave a hug as well, “You got talent, if you ever decide to move over to Korea look us up and you can join our concerts.” He gave a huge smile.


Last to say farewell was Jejung, he stood face to face with Rei and stuck out his hand, his face holding a sincere smile. The raven hair smiled back at his new friend and took the handshake. They gave each other a long and friendly hug.


“It was an honor meeting you Rei Kon, and your parents. Work hard. I had a great time and was honored in working with you and your parents. I hope we do see you soon, and good luck in becoming a famous performer like your parents.”


Rei smiled and felt as if he was about to cry due to the wonderful words each of the Korean youths said to him.


“Yo Jejung make out already!” Yunho called out making the others laugh and the other two pull apart.


“Yunho! I am trying to say goodbye to our friend!”


“Then make out already! And let’s get going!” He called out again and received a glare from the other member.


“Heh you better get going.”


“Sorry my friends can be real dorks at times…”


“It’s cool; makes them awesome friends. Jejung have a safe trip and thank you so much for taking the time in performing with us.”


“Next concert we have you will be invited!”


“Would like that.”


“Goodbye.” He bowed at the raven hair wand went over to where his friends were waiting.


“Say bye to your parents for us again!” Junsu called out


“I will! Thank you DBSK! And have a safe trip!” he waved at them as they waved back and soon they all began to board the plane.

Rei stood there until the door that led to the plane was shut closed after the last seats were allowed entrance.


After ten minutes Rei was seated alone watching the plane form the window slowly move away and taking off into the air. He smiled as he watched his new friends fly away and soon disappear in the clear blue sky.


“Rei-rei!” a voice called out.


He turned around and saw his mother looking at him. He moved away from his spot and walked over to the older woman.


“Ma did you guys get your bags checked?”


“Yes we did dear. Did they leave already?”


He nodded.


“Oh, I was hoping that we finished so we could have watched them depart.”


“It is fine, they said goodbye again to you guys.”


“So sweet of them, I hope they continue in working hard and bringing joy to so many people.”


“Same here Ma.”


“Attention please, flight 314 will be departing in 10 minutes, boarding is taking place in gate 12” a voice called out through the speakers.


“Guess we better walk over there then.” The raven hair walked over to his mother who had a sadden face. He grabbed her hand and gave it a tight squeeze. “Come on Ma.”


She nodded and they walked off towards that direction.



“Now seating rows 1-4”


“Guess that is us.” Lanfei stood up followed by Rei.


She turned to him with a smile and her eyes shining as if they were ready to spill tears.


“Kitten glad you are doing well, and we are proud of you. Take care of yourself and try not to fight so much with Kai, and one day you should cook him something, call me if you want any special recipes, also tell your friends they are all so wonderful and thank them for taking care of you.” She began to move away the strands of hair surrounding her son’s face, “Also call me at least once in a while and not have me worry so much, and stay warm in the cold, and eat healthy and do not stress so much, do well in your studies and please be happy, and”


“Ma” Rei interrupted, “I will be fine, please do not worry and take care of yourself. I will try and call more then once as well.” He smiled at the woman.


“Oh my little Rei-rei!” She pulled him in to a surprise hug burying his face into her breasts making him flail while she cried hard.


Ki Shou laughed and calmed his wife down slowly making her release her now flustered son.


“Son you behave yourself, and be safe. Take good care of that Kai, all right? He is a good guy. And work hard in your dances. You made us very proud.” The older man smiled up at his son.


The raven hair bended over and embraced his father giving him a kiss on the cheek. Ki Shou smiled and patted the raven hair with his good hand giving him more advice while they continued to hug each other feeling the ache of parting enter them.


“Dad you are strong, thank you for saving me and realizing so much, please take care of yourself and I hope that you will soon be able to dance again.” Tears streamed down his face as he said farewell to his father.


“Hey don’t worry, I will be back on my feet and moving better then ever, you will see. Just wait. Come visit on your breaks okay? And be sure to give that hot guy of yours great pleasure every night.” He chuckled as tears streamed down his face.


“Last call for rows 1-4”


They pulled away from the hug. He smiled at his two parents and with that Lanfei began to wheel her husband towards the door to board the plane.


“Well kid you showed me you got real skill, I will be sure to keep you in mind for upcoming productions.”


Rei looked up at the taller man who placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze.


“Thank you Garland, have a safe trip as well.”


‘Thanks, be sure to tell Brooklyn and Jin that I am truly sorry I did no tell them I was leaving today. Heh Brook can be a real crybaby at times and well knowing him he would find a way to keep me here longer. Take care of yourself and work hard.”


“Thanks, and thank you for helping all of us in that production.”


“You are welcome kid! Well keep on dancing.” With that he moved away from the raven hair and walked over to where the couple was handing in their tickets.


Rei watched them and they waved at him at the entrance of the door.


“I love you Mom! I love you Dad! And Garland please take good care of them while I am at school!” He called out as he waved at his parents.

Lanfei smiled and the tears she held for a while soon spilled out running down her delicate face, “ Good bye kitten! We love you very much!!”


With that the three made their way down the hallway leading them to their plane. Rei watched smiling as he watched them soon disappear from his sight.


“They departed already?” a voice called out from behind him, startling him.


He turned around ad was surprised to see Kai standing there behind him. His shades covering his eyes as he stared at the raven hair. Rei only nodded and went back at looking out the window. The dual hair walked over to his side and they both stood there watching, the plane was soon slowly moving, it continued to move gaining speed, slowly ascending up. The two only watched the plane slowly lift up into the air, the loud roar of the engines booming over them.


“Bye…” Rei whispered as he waved at the airplane that flew past them.


Kai only watched the smiling raven hair, watching the small tears stream down his face as the plane departed the airport. His attention went back to the view and watched the plane slowly disappear into the clear blue skies.


“Come on, I want to take you somewhere.” Kai spoke softly to Rei.


He looked over at the dual hair and just nodded. They moved away from the window and made their way out of the crowded airport towards the dual hair’s car that was parked out front.

It was already 2:30 and Rei and Kai were still driving, the raven hair did not know what the dual hair had planned but he was feeling nervous, they did not say a word through each other since they left the airport and now they were driving a empty mountain road.


“Hey Kai where are we going?” he turned over to the dual hair.


“You will see.” And that was all he said and focused once more on the road.

The raven hair gave a sigh and turned his attention to his side and began to admire the gorgeous view, the green trees surrounding the whole area, flowers blooming, the cool breeze running through his hair as his eyes scanned the mountain sides and looked over to see a crystal clear river running along the fence of large trees.


After what felt like more then an hour drive the dual hair finally parked his car. Rei looked around and noticed the area to be familiar. His eyes caught a hold of a sign and it read ‘Butterfly Grove Mountain”


“Hey I’ve been here before. Why are we here?” he looked over to Kai but saw that the dual hair was already out of the car and grabbing some things out of the trunk.


Rei stepped out from the car and walked over to help the dual hair. Kai slammed the trunk down and began to walk off. The raven hair gave out a breath and quickly followed the dual hair.


‘He seems like he is being chased by someone…’ he thought to himself, he began to look behind as he felt that perhaps they were being chased.


Finally after a while of walking they stopped in an open area, a beautiful lake. Rei watched the gorgeous clear lake shimmer under the sunlight and watched as a few butterflies flew around the greens, the flowers all blooming in different colors, making a carpet of colorful beauty.


“Rei come here.” Kai called out, pulling the raven hair away from the scenery.


He saw the dual hair sitting down on a large red blanket with a basket placed in the center and he was pulling out a large bottle of wine ad two wine glasses. Rei smiled at the image, he never knew that the dual hair enjoyed being a romantic sap. He walked over to where the dual hair was pouring the red wine into the clear glass. He sat himself down across from Kai and was handed the glass with wine. He gladly took it and tasted the enrich drink.


For a while they sat there, enjoy the beautiful scenery, the birds singing performing their own chorus entertaining the two. A small breeze blew gently, blowing through Rei’s hair making it dance in the wind. It felt wonderful.


“Rei”


The raven hair looked over to the dual hair and saw that he had a serious look, well a look much more intense then usual.


“Yeah?”


The dual hair placed his empty glass to the side and moved forward so he was closer to the raven hair. Nervously Rei watched the dual hair wondering if perhaps he wanted to have sex out in the open. Some how that was getting the raven hair excited.


“You know I love you, I will never stop loving you and you are the only person I care deeply for,” he reached into his pocket, Rei’s eyes following. “ For along time I thought that I would never fall for anyone, after what happened in my past, but meeting you, realizing that my destiny decided to change, made me change.”


Rei just continued watching the dual hair, trying hard to make out what he was trying to say to him.


“I can’t stop loving you, I will never stop, and I finally realized that I want you in my life forever, I want to make you happy, I want to take care of you, and just have you by my side forever.” He pulled out a small black box out from his pocket and placed it near Rei.


The raven hair continued to ponder what was happening and suddenly his eyes shot up wide open.


“I want you to be with me forever, I want us to be bound together.” He opened the small box and inside was a golden band.


Rei’s mouth fell open as he saw the golden item shimmer in the light. He looked back up at Kai and down at the ring.


“I am asking you to marry me.”


It felt like a brick smacking him hard on the face, he looked at the dual hair still in complete shock his mouth gaping open like a fish, he tried hard to form words but was not able to.


“Will you be with me forever?”


“Kai…” the name escaped his lips as a whisper.


He stared at the dual hair for a while and suddenly he felt his eyes roll back and he lost consciousness, he fell backwards with a thump. Rei fainted.

I did not plan on that but suddenly while I was sitting around I just saw this image of Rei fainting when suddenly getting proposed to. I mean I know I would faint if I had my love propose to me.
