A/N: Gosh this
is getting longer and longer… Tho it looks like I’m
getting to the end pretty soon. I’m not going to guess how many chapters there
will be cuz I’ll be wrong anyway. But that’s just me

Meetings
Envy looked at
the boy he still held pinned against the wall. There was determination in the
golden eyes. Determination and anger mixed with fear. Ed’s mouth was drawn in a
thin line the corners turned slightly down. Envy could feel the slight push of
the automail arm as Ed tested his grip. It was exhilarating to feel the smaller
body so close to his own, tensed and ready to fight.

“I already told
you that. Now what do I have to give to you to keep my brother safe?” Ed asked
angrily.
“Give me,
boy.
“Yes. Not tell
me and we’ll make another one of your silly deals.” he said angrily trying to
kick the homunculus.
“Don’t be so
aggressive,” Envy said moving so that both of his knees were between Ed’s so
that it was impossible for the boy to kick him. “you
know that you’re awfully vulnerable when you’re like this?”
Ed
to look at his captor. It reawas was a vulnerable position. He didn’t even want
to know what people would think if they saw them in this position.
“Are you going
to tell me what you want in exchange or not?” Ed finally asked.
“Hmm what’s the
rush, ochibi-san?” Envy asked languidly rubbing his
cheek against Ed’s hair. “But maybe you’re right.”
“So?”
“So what I want
is…” Envy started smiling arrogantly before leaning closer and whispering the
rest into Ed’s ear.
The golden eyes
widened in shock and Ed’s mouth dropped open.
“You can’t…” he
said trying to pull away but he was still trapped between the wall and Envy’s
body.
“I can’t?” Envy
asked pretending to be surprised. “But you said anything.”
“I…” Ed started
but stopped when he realized that he really had promised Envy anything
did mean anything.
“So do you agree
to our deal?” Envy asked smiling.
“Yes. I’ll keep
my side of it as long as you keep yours,” Ed finally said. “now
let me go.”
“Hmm but I like
you when you’re helpless. Right now there’s little you could do to stop me,
were almost touching.
Ed stayed quiet.
“But I’ll let
you go now.” Envy said smiling and stepping back letting go of Ed’s hands.
Ed didn’t attack
Envy, but he was cautious.
“Good you’re
starting to realize that fighting me is useless.” Envy said still smiling.
“And what are
you going to do now?” Ed asked rubbing his wrist and glaring at Envy.

Ed nodded. Envy’s
smile changed a little and Ed was surprised he could even tell the difference. It
was more than a little alarming.
“What I’m going
to do now is look after you.” Envy said reaching out to gently touch Ed’s
cheek.
At that point Ed
didn’t know whether he was more surprised at the gentleness of the action or
his own need to tilt his head closer to the hand. He was getting more and more
accustomed to Envy’s presence and he wasn’t sure if that was a bad or a very
bad thing.
“You like me
don’t you, ochibi-san?” Envy said leaning closer
again.
“Stop flattering
yourself. The only reason I’m not kicking your ass right now is because you
forced that deal on me.” Ed muttered halfheartedly.

Ed could feel
Envy’s smile against his own lips when the homunculus kissed him for the second
time. This time he wasn’t shocked and the kiss lasted longer so he actually had
time to really feel the sensation. It didn’t feel bad.
“Has anyone else
seen you looking like this, ochibi-san?” Envy asked
when he pulled back.
His hands had
sneaked into Ed’s hair and the smaller boy was again pinned against the wall. This
time Ed wasn’t trying to gree ree and he didn’t know if that was because of the
new deal or because of something else.
“I don’t think
there’s anyone else. And now there won’t be anyone else ever.” Envy said
leaning in for another kiss.
Ed didn’t know
whether he should open his mouth or not when Envy’s tongue prodded his lips but
in the end he opened his mouth hesitantly. After all he had agreed to the deal.
A traitorous voice in the back of his head told him that he had opened his
mouth willingly because he enjoyed the contact. When Envy pulled away again Ed
leaned a little forward as if to mahe che contact longer.
“Now that is the
attitude I want you to have,” Envy said smiling. “always
knew you’d be quick to catch on.”
Ed blushed and
tried to work up a decent glare but it was difficult when you were panting. He
was embarrassed that he’d allowed someone to kiss him and he was even more
ashamed that he’d actually enjoyed it.
“It’s just
because I’m forced t thi this.” Ed grumbled aware that he was still very red.
“Well we’ll see
how long you’ll believe that,” Envy said. “but now its
better if you leave before someone comes looking for you. And this time it
would be better if you kept our deal a secret.”
Ed snorted
clearly not amused by the comment. Envy released him again and he turned to
walk away. When he looked back he couldn’t see Envy anywhere.

Two days after
his last encounter with Envy, Ed was getting restless. He kept wondering
whether his self proclaimed stalker still watched him or if he had finally gone
away. He found himself looking out of the window constantly even though he knew
that he wouldn’t see the shapeshifter if he didn’t
want to be seen. And he still couldn’t stop doing it. It was grating on his
nerves.
“Brother you
should stop that.” Al said quietly to his brother who was standing at the
window again looking outside.
“I know I know…
I just c rel relax.” Ed said frustrated rapping the window frame absentmindedly
with his fingers.
“Is it because
you know that we’re being followed?” Al asked.
“I don’t know. I
really don’t know, Al.” Ed said shaking his head. “I think I’ll take a walk
again.”
“You shouldn’t
go outside alone. Especially now that you know that we’re being watched all the
time.” Al said starting to get up from the bed where he’d been sitting.
“I’ll be okay.
He won’t hurt me or anything. At least not yet I think,” Ed said smiling to his
brother.
What he couldn’t
tell Al was that the reason why he wanted to go out alone was to see Envy. He
hated himself for wanting to see the homunculus but he couldn’t just ignore the
feeling. He had tried to ignore coe constant nagging feeling for the last two
days but so far it had only made it worse. And he didn’t even know why he
wanted to see Envy.
“I’m going now,”
Ed said grabbing his coat and practically running out of the room leaving his
brother stare after him in astonishment.

After walking
aimlessly for an hour Ed realized that he had no idea where Envy could be. The
homunculus had said that he would be watching Ed but… Finally he ended up in a
small park. He sighed and sat down on a bench and leaned back letting his head
fall back so that he could see the sky. He didn’t raise his head when he heard
someone come closer and sit down next to him.
“Were you
looking for something? Or someone perhaps?” Envy asked casually studying the
young alchemists face idly.
scoffed turning his head just enough to see the other man.
“Hmm… Aren’t we
unpleasant today? And I thought I was being nice by giving you some time to
think.” Envy said playing with Ed’s bangs.
When he leaned
in to steal a kiss Ed raised his hands to hold him away.
“Don’t.” Ed said
turning his head away.
“But I want to.”
Envy said swatting the hands away and kissing the boy anyway.
Ed tried to push
him away but his own confusion about his feelings wasn’t helping him. In the
end he wasn’t sure if he was pushing Envy away or pulling him closer. And he
knew it was wrong to do it.

“And I don’t
hear you complaining either.” Envy said smugly after they separated.
Ed tried to deny
it or at least say something but…
“I don’t know
what’s going on anymore,” Ed said covering his face with his hands. “I hate
you.”
Envy just
laughed not feeling a drop of sympathy for the boy. It had as bes been his
intention to confuse the boy and keep him off balance. It was easy to
manipulate the boy to do anything he wanted him to do. The moment Ed had agreed
on that first silly deal he had been caught in a net and was getting more and
more caught in it every time he saw Envy.
While he was
going over his plan in his head he missed the dangerous glint in Ed’s golden
eyes. The alchemist knew that he was being played with and he didn’t appreciate
it. He would not take this laying down.

A/N: well that
was a fluffy and sappy chapter. And it seems Ed is planning something too.
*sighs* Why are they both plotting little bastards?
write shweet fluff and smut. Er…
about the smut… seems like I’m finally getting to it so maybe in the next
chapter or something… yeah *yawns* We’ll see.
