Ed's...PREGNANT?!!
Disclaimer: I don‘t own FMA. Hell, I don’t even own my car. :( I do own Faith and Parker Nightingale though.
Ed barely got to knock at Mustang’s door when a hand grabbed him and pulled him inside. Instantly he felt hot lips on his own and hands groping him. “I’ve wanted you all morning,” Roy whispered, licking Ed’s ear. Ed couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the physical and emotional attention he was receiving. Before he could protest, Roy was on his knees, almost violently sucking Ed’s dick.
“Wh-why are you going so fast?” Ed panted. Roy removed Ed from his mouth and looked at the wall clock. “Riza is due back any moment. I need some of you to get me through the day.” With that, he began sucking; knowing just what Ed wanted to bring him to climax. Taking off his glove and shoving it in his mouth, Ed moaned into the rough leather, as not to alert the other worker bees to his and Mustang’s indiscretions. It took only a few more moments before Edward’s seed was coating the back of Mustang’s throat and he was loudly “MMMMM“-ing into his glove. Roy smiled at tasting his lover, still smelling the honey and cherry scent on him. Pulling some mouthwash from his desk, he quickly swished the excess semen from his mouth and spit it into a nearby plant that was already in the process of wilting. Ed seemed frozen in place until Roy rezipped the boy’s pants and kissed him thoroughly on the mouth.
“Have a seat,” Roy cheerfully chirped and motioned candidly to a chair, as if he hadn\'t been just gagging on the eighteen-year-old’s huge penis. Ed sat down in the chair facing Roy and played with his auto-mail.
“So Roy, how are you?”
“Just lovely, love. Did you like the eggs and bacon?”
“No they tasted like dog shit. I’ve regurgitated and it tasted better than that crap.”
“Ungrateful bastard.”
“Your daddy.”
“YOUR daddy, motherfucker.”
“Ed. Whew hew...Edward...Eduardo. Ed!” Roy called, clapping his hands. Ed shook his head. He had been dreaming about what to say, and actually forgot to speak when he was spoken to. “Sorry,” he stammered, slightly embarrassed. Roy nodded and leaned back in his leather chair. Just because he gave the kid some head didn\'t mean he would stop respecting him.
“So do you want to come over again tonight?” Roy ask forwardly. There was no B.S. when it came to affairs of the dick and heart. Underneath his table he crossed his fingers, hoping for the ‘y’ answer. Ed nodded his head. “Of course I do. But I want to know where Al is.” Roy shrugged. Truthfully he answered; “I am unsure of Al’s exact location.”
Ed frowned and shot eye daggers into Roy. “I don\'t need longitude and latitude coordinates. Just a general location.” Roy sighed and walked around to massage Ed’s shoulders. “I thought you trusted me,” he murmured into the boy’s hair. Ed broke away and stood, looking sad. “I thought you trusted me,” he whispered and walked out the door.
Roy could have shot himself. Maybe he should have told Ed where Al was. It wouldn’t have hurt, and Ed would have felt dumb for being so up in the air about worrying so hard. But then too, he made a promise to Al not to spill the beans. Roy was a lot of things, but a snitch and a teller-all wasn’t one. He had a strict code of silence, so strict that even threats of death wouldn\'t phase him. He felt like if you needed to know something so bad, just ask the person you were wondering about. He returned to his desk, banging his head continually until Riza came back. She knew better than to comment on his bruised forehead or the white stuff on the corner of his mouth.
For twelve days Ed and Roy didn’t speak. If they passed each other in the hall, Ed would look away. If Roy was in the cafeteria, Ed would eat quietly in the library. Actually, Ed hadn’t been eating that good for about a week. He was throwing up often and late to calesthenics classes regularly. His body felt weak, and he inwardly cursed the Colonel. He was sure he had caught mono or the flu or something from the germ infested Mustang. Ed ached, from his sickness, and from missing his lover’s arms. He wanted his brother to come home so at least he would be just sick opposed to sick and lonely.
“Riza,” Roy called from his office. Whoever was pleasing the Colonel had obviously stopped because he was arriving late as usual and not doing his paperwork as usual. Riza and Hughes both discussed the change, and she was shocked to find that Roy had been sleeping with Ed. She was shocked but yet happy at the same time, since both men REALLY needed someone, and they were both so cute. She and Hughes had both taken a shot of Jack Daniels’ to the couple and their happiness. So much for drunken wishes.
“Riza, have you ever dreamed of fish?” Roy asked, looking at his friend. Her face scrunched up and she turned slightly green. “No, I hate fish. They taste disgusting.”
“No, no, I mean like swimming with them or just fish in general. I\'ve been dreaming of fish this past week and I don’t know why.” Roy shrugged. Just then the black phone rang.
“Colonel Roy Must-” Roy began but was abruptly cut off. “Riza, I need to speak to Riza!!” Ed shouted through the phone. “Hello, Edward.” Roy said coldly. How dare the boy shun him for almost two weeks and then call HIS phone asking for someone else? The nerve!
“Umm...hi Roy,” Ed said, sounding very childlike. It almost melted Roy’s heart to hear his sweet lover’s voice. Roy handed Hawkeye the phone. “It’s Ed wanting to talk to you.” He already knew Hughes told her of his and Ed’s brief sexual encounters, but was surprised nevertheless when she shot him a questionable look and reluctantly took the phone.
“Ummhmm...Ed are you sure? Okay, I know someone who can see you. I know sweetie, calm down. Yes, yes. I’ll go with you. Ok. Ok. All right, Ed. EDWARD! Calm down. She’s great, full discretion. Ummhmm. Yeah. Ok. See you in a few.” With that, Riza dashed off, not even giving Roy a chance to ask what was wrong. ‘Probably just stomach ulcers from eating candy’ Roy surmised. Then, remembering a dream interpretation book Hughes bought him as a 32nd birthday present, he pulled it from his desk drawer and flipped to the “F” section to look up fish. “Farm...feet...fire ..Ah fish. Fish dreams are usually when one or someone you know is...” Roy slammed the book down and broke out into a cold sweat. “Pregnant?” he whispered. Then he laughed nervously. Ed was a man. No ovaries, no fallopian tubes, no eggs. Only semen. No eggs only semen. ‘NO EGGS ROY!!!’ his mind screamed. Maybe Gracia was pregnant again; Hughes would love that. Someone, anyone else. He rocked back and forth in his chair, the first time in his catching a chill that even snapping his fingers couldn’t fix.
“Ed, this is Dr. Faith Nightingale,” Riza announced, introducing Ed to the short doctor. She was so short, even Ed towered over her. Ed smiled at the woman, for she greatly resembled Aunt Pinako. Dr. Faith sat Ed on the examination table and looked into his mouth, listened to him breathe, and then opened his shirt. Blushing, Ed tried to get away from her and her cold fingers, but she was amazingly strong. “Don’t fight me boy, you’ll hurt the babies,” she mumbled. Ed froze. Maybe the babies she was talking about were his balls. Those were the only babies he knew of.
“Umm Dr. Faith, what babies?” Riza asked nervously. She knew the woman was old and slightly insane, but she had seen her all her life and was the best doctor she knew. Dr Faith pointed accusingly at Ed. “The babies that are inside of him. There are two, possibly three.” Ed jumped from the table. “You quack bitch,” he yelled. The woman was off her nut to assume there were babies anywhere near Ed. He had assisted Hughes’ wife with her delivery, but he wasn’t popping out kids of his own. Dr. Faith laughed at Ed.
“I’ve been called everything in the book, kiddo; but I’m not a quack and somebody knocked you all the way up!!!” she cackled and slapped her skinny thighs. Ed was angry and embarrassed. He thought back to he and Roy’s lovemaking and its true, not once did Roy strap it up. “Fucking Mustang,” Ed muttered. Dr. Faith looked at him and smiled. “Yeah, that’s probably how you got pregnant. But just to make sure I’m right, I’ll give you a pregnancy test. After all, you could just have gas.” she cackled again and Ed considered transmutating the table into a guillotine and putting her head on it. She came back into the room with a pretty redhead, short with freckles. “This is my daughter, Parker.” Parker smiled at Ed, and handed him the pregnancy test.
“Everything you need to know is in the directions. Basically pee in the cup, drop some of it in the strip, and wait 5 minutes.” she smiled again and patted Ed on the back. “Don’t worry. As long as you and the baby’s father...other father are still together, you don\'t have to face this alone.” Ed hung his head. It had been awhile since he and Roy had talked, other than the brief formalities of this morning. Sighing, he hopped off the table and walked to the bathroom, looking at Riza with wide scared eyes. “Do you want me to come with you Ed?” Riza called, almost feeling sorry for the boy. Ed shook his head, inhaled a deep breath, and went into the bathroom.
“So is he in the military with you?” Parker asked as she gathered up some cotton swabs and tongue depressors. Riza nodded. She and Parker were good childhoodfriends, and played tennis together often. “You do realize that he’s pregnant, and this test is just to prove to Ed that he‘s carrying, right?” Parker stated, turning towards Riza. Again Riza nodded. “Is it Roy’s baby?” Parker whispered. Sadly, Riza met her eyes and nodded again. Parker and Roy dated about six years back, due to her setting them up. Roy loved Parker, but all of a sudden broke up with her. Riza heard both sides of the story, but the bottom line was Parker became pregnant, but lost the baby in her second trimester. That happened atleast 4 times, Roy later revealed. He loved Parker, but eventually wanted children. That couldn’t happen with her, so they came to a mutual understanding. But if he was sleeping with a man, that was a for sure way to avoid a pregnancy, right?
Five minutes passed. Then ten. Then twenty. Riza, Faith, and Parker were all outside the bathroom door on pins and needles, calling for Ed to come out. When he didn’t, Riza panicked and shot the lock off the door. “Hey, that’s going on the kid’s bill!!” Dr. Faith shrieked as Riza and Parker ran inside. Ed was sitting on the toilet, eyes wide open and red from crying. Parker walked over and held up the test showing 2 lines. “Congratulations, Edward. You’re going to be a mama.”
People passing by on the block were startled by the screams coming from Faith Nightingale’s house.
“There, there, Edward,” Riza soothed as Ed fell into the fetal position on the floor and cried. “Women...er people have babies everyday.” Ed bawled. “Not the hellions of Mustang!” he screamed. Damn it why did the Colonel always have to ruin his life?!! He should have slit his throat during his state alchemist exam when he and Mustang had to face off on each other. Then he wouldn’t be pregnant. But then again, he would have never known the soft caresses and sweet kisses Mustang had to offer. Hitching and hiccupping, Ed sat up and allowed Riza, Parker, and Dr. Faith to take turns hugging him and picking him off the tiled floor. Riza wiped Ed’s face and rebraided his mussed hair. Ed sat there, staring in the mirror at himself. Then looking down at his stomach, fresh tears fell from his eyes. Riza hugged Ed and told him she would be back, them removed anything portable and metal, lest Ed transmutate it and kill himself.
“So it’s Roy Mustang’s kid. Humph,” Faith snorted as she and Riza walked down the hall. She remembered that black-haired idiot, the one who was engaged to Parker. She never liked Mustang, despite his efforts to get along with his future mother in law. She thought Roy was a dog, and leapt at the chance to tell him so at any given occasion. Riza stopped the old woman and touched her shoulder. “How did Ed get pregnant?” she asked, not even believing the words out of her mouth. Faith pulled up a chair and sat down and tickled Riza’s arm, something she did to soothe her. “You told me the boy had been transmutated, and that’s why he has auto-mail. There must have been a change in his DNA and RNA while the transmutation occurred. Also, I had studied Roy and Parker’s blood a long time ago to find out why she could never carry to term. Something in Roy’s blood makes his semen too strong, so strong that if his seed were to take root, it could possibly kill its host.” Riza’s eyes nearly jumped out of her head. “So the babies will kill Ed?” she asked in a scared voice. Faith shook her head. “They are both alchemists. Parker wasn’t. Her body wasn’t strong enough to carry Roy’s child. Being alchemists, they have both extraordinary internal and external strengths. I honestly believe that if Ed had slept with any other male alchemist he still would have got pregnant. Only thing is his transmutation made it more likely that he would get pregnant. The strong breed with the strong,” Faith quipped and turned away. Ed’s pregnancy was a marvel of science, and she was proud to be the one who unraveled it. She turned and faced Riza again. “By the way, his bill for today is $425, including the lock you shot off. And tell him he’s 2 months pregnant and he’s having a boy and a girl. He will be due to give birth in approximately 3 months, because alchemic babies develop faster than normal humans do. He is to visit me atleast twice in those three months.” With that, Faith kissed Riza’s forehead and walked away. “Something about that love between alchemists,” she muttered to herself. Then went to make a strong pot of tea, lemon, and brandy.
Sighing, Riza gathered Ed, paid the bill, and promised to call Parker later. On the way out, Parker caught hold of Ed’s human hand. “Please, be good to Roy. Give him everything I couldn’t, and tell him I said hello and good luck.” Ed nodded and hugged the small redhead. “Thanks again for all you and your mom have done for me. Be good to your mother always,” Ed whispered and walked away, feeling his eyes brim with fresh tears. Parker and Faith waved at them until they were ant-sized in the distance.
On the ride home, Riza told Ed what Faith had said about his pregnancy. “A boy and a girl?” Ed whispered, clutching his stomach. Riza nodded and smiled. “Are you going to tell Roy? Or do you want me to?” Ed shook his head while tracing the JEEP emblem on the dash of Riza‘s truck. “It’s my job to tell him. Who knows,” he said smiling. “Maybe I can get some child support from his cheap behind.” Laughing, they pulled into Central and parked beside Roy’s cherry red mustang, accented with orange flames.
Roy had worn ruts into the floor from pacing so much. Pregnant, Ed fucking better not be pregnant. He remembered getting excited whenever his ex-fiancee’ Parker became pregnant, and remembered the rainy days spent holding her, telling her that her body was not broken or barren, and that they would try to replace the baby they had lost. He didn’t want to do that again with anyone else, male or female. He stopped when he heard laughing outside his window and looked down to see Hawkeye and Ed getting out of her jeep and walking toward the building. If they were laughing, then nothing was wrong right? Right. Roy sat back at his desk, playing with his gloves until he heard the familiar knock on the door.
“Come in,” he said in as neutral a tone as he could. Gran Basque’s ugly countenance filled the room and Roy felt his face sag. What the hell could Basque want now?!!!
“Hey Colonel, don’t look so happy to see me,” Gran muttered. No one liked him, and he couldn’t understand why. Especially not Roy. Just because he was Colonel, it didn\'t mean his shit didn’t stink or that he didn’t put his pants on one leg at a time. Asshole. Roy cleared his throat and gave Gran a menacing glare. “May I help you,” he coldly ask. Gran frowned and handed him a stack of papers. “Hawkeye was supposed to give you these, but she ran off this morning. It’s about a small coup de’ eat in The Crossing that Warrant Falman has been investigating. Fuehrer Bradley wanted you to be informed.” Gran turned and walked away, slamming Roy’s door. Roy mumbled some obscenities under his breath and began sorting through the papers when his door opened.
“Now what, Gran-” he started but then looked up to see Ed and Hawkeye. Ed looked flushed, like maybe he had been laughing or crying extremely hard. Hawkeye gave Ed a supportive look and gently pushed him into the room and closed the door. Ed nervously faced Roy.
“H-Hi,” Ed stammered. “H-Hi yourself,” Roy replied, sounding surprisingly calm. Ed’s hands were clenched so tightly; his human hand was nearly as white as his military gloves. He sighed deeply and walked over to Roy. “I’m pregnant,” he murmured, bowing his head in shame. “I’m sorry I missed that. Repeat please?” Roy studied the boy’s face to make sure his suspicions were confirmed.
“I said I’m pregnant,” Ed cried out louder, falling to his knees. Painful sobs racked the boy’s body, so much so that Roy joined him on the floor, holding Ed’s violently shaking form. Roy rocked with Ed on the floor, his arms encircling Ed’s waist. Tilting Ed’s face up, Roy gave him a gentle kiss on the lips and a smile. “I had a feeling you were,” Roy whispered, kissing Ed’s ear. The next thing he knew, he was across the room and his cheek really hurt. “YOU COULD HAVE WARNED SOME DAMN BODY!!!” Ed screamed after belting Roy with his auto-mail arm. Roy shook his head and checked to make sure his jaw wasn’t broken. “Don’t end up with a dishonorable discharge for hitting a superior,” Roy warned. Getting bruised up by his distant lover wasn’t something he was prepared for or in the mood for.
Roy walked over to the still shaken Edward and leaned down to kiss and embrace him. “I’m going to be a daddy,” he whispered, remembering saying those words a long time ago, but it never coming true. “I met Parker Nightingale and I‘m sorry I cuffed you. I was expecting you to be angry or something.” Ed said, looking into Roy’s deep black eyes. “She also said hello.“ Roy sighed and ran his fingers through his thick ebony hair nodding. “So Riza took you to see Faith. I’m sure she explained the miracle of conception?” Roy questioned. Ed nodded and sat Roy down to explain how and why he got pregnant.
“Hey Ree Ree,” Hughes called delightfully to Hawkeye. He had more pictures of Elysia and Gracia, and wanted to show them to anyone he could distract for a moment. “Shut up and come here,” Hawkeye commanded. “Oooh freaky-sexy-nastaaaaaay,” Hughes teased before coming up to her.
“Okay here’s the news.” Riza sighed. “Ed is pregnant.” Hughes turned his head and confusion etched his face.
“Ed is who?”
“Pregnant.”
“Who is pregnant?”
“Ed is.”
“How?!”
“How do you think? Roy shot inside of him, and thus a star is born.”
Hughes scratched his head and looked around.
“Are you sure? Have you been smoking weed again?” Hughes peered into Riza’s eyes. Riza pushed him away.
“No you and Col. Jackass are the resident potheads around here. It’s true, Ed is pregnant, and Roy is the father.”
Hughes’ face became thoughtful as he tried to think of some of Ely’s old baby clothes and toys he could donate to Roy and Ed. “I hope Ed doesn’t disappoint him the way Parker did,” he murmured. Riza nodded in agreement. Parker was her friend, yes, but she wasn‘t around to witness the six years of pain that has ensued since she and Roy lost their last child and broke up. “Hey!” Hughes said brightly, “He’s not gonna put a car seat in the Mustang. I wonder if he’ll give it to me,” Hughes tilted his head and rubbed his chin in a thinking position as Riza rolled her eyes in disgust and walked away. Hughes smiled and clapped his hands. “Elysia, daddy’s gonna bring you home a mustang!” he vowed happily.
Roy whistled low through his teeth at the end of Ed’s story. He figured on his own that Ed’s transmutation was the cause of his pregnancy, but not that his own seed was too strong for normal mortals to carry. No wonder in his 32 years of life no one could ever carry his child to term. By all rights, Roy really should have had hundreds of children by now with all the women he had slept with. He held Ed carefully and for the first time, touched Ed’s stomach. Maybe it was his mind playing tricks on him, but he thought he felt the slightest movement. Ed smiled at the look of wonder and pleasure on his lover’s face. He was sure that the babies would drive Roy away, but this time he was glad that he was wrong about the Colonel’s character. Ed pulled up his shirt and took Roy’s hand and moved it all around his smooth washboard stomach. Roy flushed from touching Ed and knowing his children were inside that warm delicious flesh.
“You say two babies? A boy and a girl?” Roy asked for the millionth time. “Yes, darling, possibly a third child is in there too.” Ed spoke patiently, not wanting to damper Roy’s happiness with his impatience. Roy laughed and did a happy jig across the floor and picked Ed up to dance with him. Ed met Roy’s lips in a hot but slow kiss, his fingers massaging their way into Roy’s scalp and Roy’s hands going across Ed’s ass to give it a squeeze and occasional slap. ‘There’ Roy’s mind spoke. ‘That wasn’t so bad was it, daddy?’ Roy’s mind tuned out as Ed bent down to return the same favor that Roy bestowed upon him roughly twelve days ago.
“I hear laughing,” Riza whispered to Hughes. They were huddled up outside Roy’s door listening to the conversation. Hughes nodded. “Indeed there is laughter. I wanna go inside and congratulate them,” he whined, reaching for the knob. Riza drew her gun. “Touch that knob and you’ll be jacking left handed from now on.”
Hughes sucked his teeth and drew out one of his small knives. “Come on then biatch. Ain’t nobody scared of you. Actually, a lot of people are scared of you. But I’m not one,” he declared, standing to his full 6’3 height. Riza looked up at him and gently but firmly hit him in the nose with the butt of her gun. Hughes gasped and held his bloody nose. “You hit me! You really fucking hit me!” he squealed and ran off to the restroom. She shrugged, the man played too much. He’s lucky he didn’t get shot. Leaning back against the door, she heard Roy’s distinct moan and something that sounded like slurping. Reddening, she stood, straightened her uniform, and quickly walked away, smiling as she did so.
>There is a saying down South if you dream of fish, either you or someone you know is pregnant. Hughes is silly, and Roy is in love and he and Ed are going to be parents! Isn\'t it all so NICE? *laughs evily*
