Under the Cherry Blossom Tree

Disclaimer: See previous chapters. The beginning of this is flashbacks of RizaxRush. Towards the middle and ending is where the trip to Risenmbool takes place. Also a gooey lemony center is involved. Enjoy!

Riza shook her head at Al’s shaky voice. Inwardly, she cursed Roy for even saying good-bye to Edward, that way he could have at least had a fighting chance to talk to Winry and if she didn’t forgive him to scrap the whole idea. She had to baby-sit Rush and Ramona, and she couldn\'t help but wonder if Hughes brought the Mustang twins to Amnestis for partially her benefit too.

Rush Mustang, Ruschelle Fiona Mustang. Riza sighed and shuddered from the thought of her raven-haired nemesis and ex-girlfriend. She and Rush dated around the same time Parker and Roy did; she assumed it was Roy’s way of thanking her for setting him up, or a complex way of torture. Ramona had been single for a long time; her last boyfriend was killed in a World’s Strongest Man competition gone awry. The car he was carrying up a hill accidentally crushed him.

Both twins’ facial features almost exactly resembled their older brother; long, thick black curls, dark brown eyes, tall, and as an added bonus, the twins shared amongst themselves thickly shaped figures with large breasts and large asses. Many a man’s eye had been blackened for Roy’s dislike of having his sisters ogled at. Rush and Riza dated for two happy years, and Riza never felt more sure of herself than when she was with Rush. Sadly, she caught Rush with a military private, and called things off. She never did understand why Rush cheated on her-and never asked.

“Al, I can drop you and Edward off at the Colonel\'s house, but I have to bring his sisters by there first,” Riza gave in, rubbing her head. “HURRY UP!” she heard Edward’s increasingly feminine voice squeak out. She had to laugh; the hormone pills Faith had given Ed were incredibly strong.

“Thank you so much Miss Hawkeye. We owe you greatly,” Al said gratefully. She heard Edward whine a little more and a loud ‘pong’ noise and then a thump. Chuckling, she knew Al had bopped Ed in his head to temporarily knock him out. Hanging up the phone, she sighed and headed to Orville Train Station to pick up the Mustang Girls.

“Can you believe Roy is fucking a man?” Rush asked Ramona, lazily drawing arrays in the grime on the train window. She transmutated the window into a sheet of ice, and then drawing another array, transmutated it back to the original window. Ramona shrugged and poked her sister’s arm. Rush was always bad about transmutating things when she was bored, and it greatly irked her sister. They were both quite skilled alchemists, learning the trait from their brother. Rush was the Speed Alchemist, and Ramona was the Stone Alchemist. Ramona shrugged; not really caring who or what Roy slept with, just as long as he was disease free. She had many friends get sick from dirty soldiers, and she knew that women and sometimes men were passed around the bunks like common whores. She wanted to think her brother had more class than that, but Roy could be mysterious and lecherous at the same time.

“Hey, there’s Riza!” Ramona pointed as the train pulled into Orville Station. Riza wasn’t in uniform, but in a yellow suit and pointy yellow heels. She wore a wide brim straw hat with a yellow sash wrapped around it. Rush felt her mouth dry out as she looked sadly at her ex. ‘Damn her,’ Rush thought. ‘That bitch knows she looks good.’ Riza spotted the twins and waved, holding her hat and running over to their cab.

Ramona hopped off the train and embraced Riza, picking her up and swinging her around, laughing. “Ree Ree!” she cried out happily and hugged her friend. Rush stood off to the side, a sour look on her pretty face. Riza looked at her and nodded her head. “Rush,” she said, smirking. “Reeezahhhhh,” Rush said in the same condescending voice. Ramona cleared her throat. “So where’s asshole? You did tell him to meet us here, right?” Riza played with the buttons on her jacket. “He and Maes had to run off on an important mission.”

“Buying weed isn’t important,” Rush retorted. She was quite unhappy that Riza picked them up, and even more unhappy that she noticed Riza wasn’t wearing an undershirt or bra underneath her jacket. She had forgotten Riza liked to go “commando” on her days off.

Riza and Ramona began gathering the bags that the twins had brought with them. Rush leaned against a wooden pole, admiring Riza’s ass through her yellow twill pants. “Um, a little help here?” Ramona asked, motioning to some of the other bags. Rush smiled. “I am helping. I’m helping to beautify the environment here.” she proclaimed haughtily. Riza chuckled, and in a flash Rush was in her face. “Got some shit to talk Hawkeye?” she demanded, her brown eyes meeting Riza’s. Riza smiled coldly. “At ease, Mustang. Perhaps I was just admiring the view,” she murmured and walked away, leaving Ramona giggling and Rush looking puzzled.

“So where did you say Roy and Maes went again?” Ramona asked as she rolled down the window of Riza’s jeep. She opted for the shotgun seat, lest Rush sit there and attempt to choke Riza while she was driving. Her ornery sister was in the back, going through Riza’s cd collection and making fun of her music selection. “Remember those scientists back in Ishbal that Roy had to execute?” Riza asked, trying to focus on the road. Ramona thought for a moment and nodded her head. “The Rockwell’s?” she asked, hoping she got it right. Riza smiled. “Close. The Rockbell’s. Anyway Ed’s best friend is those scientist’s daughter.”

Ramona and Rush’s jaws both dropped open. “NO FUCKING WAY!” they both simultaneously cried out. Riza nodded. “Roy has been torn up about it for the longest, and now he has to face it. He feels like if he apologizes and asks for the surviving Rockbell’s forgiveness, maybe he and Edward can have a decent shot.” Ramona nodded, tears forming in her eyes. “Such valor and courage,” she whispered, proud of her brother for standing up and seeking forgiveness. Rush laughed. “Roy is gonna be up shit creek. Heed what I say, bitches. He’s gonna be an entirely different man when he comes back from the Rockbell’s if he comes back at all.”

Hughes yawned and stretched. It had been a good six hours on the road since the last time he and Roy ate, slept, or took a piss. He didn’t complain because Roy was his best friend and he needed his support right now. Roy downshifted the clutch and skidded into Braham Inn, a bed and breakfast in Chiron, a town about 50 miles from Risenmbool. “I’m sorry I’ve been pushing you like this,” Roy said in a low tone after parking the car. Hughes nodded and smiled brightly. “Hey man, have I been whining?” Roy chuckled. “No, but if looks could kill I would have been dead hundreds of miles ago.” Hughes blushed. He forgot that there was such a thing as ‘peripheral vision.’ Roy opened his car door and stretched, wincing at his bones cracking. “Besides, I thought it best to get a good night’s sleep, shower, and some food in me before I talk to Pinako and Winry. No sense in waking them in the middle of the night,” he added, pulling a small overnight bag from the trunk. He tossed Hughes his bag and playfully shoved him as they walked into the inn.

Riza dropped Rush off at Roy’s house, while Ramona followed her back to Central in Roy’s mustang convertible. There was no feasible way Al could fit himself in Riza’s Cherokee Laredo and she didn’t want to delay the boys any longer. Pulling up at Central, she and Ramona found a VERY angry Edward and a VERY apologetic Al.

“Did you go visit everyone in the whole world before coming back to get us?!” Edward cried out, throwing a rock at Riza’s jeep.

Riza frowned, wanting to choke the pregnant boy. It was only because he was pregnant that she didn’t flip him over her shoulder. Al shook his head at his brother-how embarrassing! Ramona smiled at the yelling boy and extended her hand. Edward looked strangely at her. She looked like a very voluptuous version of Roy. Tentatively, he took her hand and shook it.

“You must be Edward Elric, the Full Metal Alchemist, the infamous dog of the military,” she said, still smiling. Edward grinned; for once someone referred to him, not Al as the Full Metal Alchemist. “Yes, I am. You must be Rush,” he said, remembering Roy told him that Rush was the “nice” one.

Ramona shook her head. “No, but she’s my twin. I’m Ramona Mustang. This is how you can tell us apart,” she said and held up her left forearm. On it was a small but very detailed burned on array of Earth, with a stone in the middle of it. She smiled as Edward studied the array. “You’re the Stone Alchemist,” he murmured, looking into her eyes. “Hai, Edo-chan. I am indeed the Stone Alchemist. My sister is the Speed Alchemist. She has an array in the same spot of an Achilles heel with a wing on it. Roy burned them on us when we were younger,” she concluded, still smiling.

Edward winced, knowing that burning arrays on took painstaking accuracy and a long ass time. He himself had placed an array in Al’s armor from his own blood when sealing his soul in the suit. Remembering that day made him visibly shudder as the wind blew his jacket open. Blushing, he quickly tied the red coat back together, but not quick enough as Riza and Ramona both enviously looked at him. His pregnancy, along with the hormone pills were drastically changing Ed’s body. In only a few short days, he had grown perfectly round breasts, not nearly as large as Riza’s or the twins, but nice nevertheless; and his stomach was also noticeably round.

“Take a picture, it will last longer,” Ed stated, embarrassed at the two women ogling him. He sighed and moved to put his bags into Roy’s car when Ramona stopped him. “No pregnant boyfriend or girlfriend of my brother’s is going to do hard work. My niece and nephew need their mama to be in tiptop shape,” Ramona declared, throwing the bags in the trunk, her brown eyes sparkling.

She thought Ed was just too precious, and wanted to help him in any way she could. Leaning into Edward’s honey blonde hair she whispered, “Roy is in Risenmbool.” Nodding, Edward hugged her tightly, motioning for Al to come on. Riza walked over to the driver’s side of the mustang and kissed the top of Edward’s head. “Be careful and don’t overwork yourself and remember to call Dr. Faith periodically.” Ed smiled and started the ignition. He and Al waved, as they sped off to Risenmbool.

“I told them where Roy is,” Ramona cried out, falling to the ground after making sure the boys were miles away. Riza wanted to kick her. Instead she took one of the black corkscrew curls and violently pulled her up. “What did you do that for?” Riza angrily hissed, pushing Ramona toward her jeep. Ramona pouted. “I wanted to help Edward. He seems like such a nice guy and he’s genuinely concerned about my brother. More than that slutbag Parker ever was,” she snapped, getting into the passenger’s side.

“Shut up and get in the fucking car,” Riza hissed, already tired of the Mustang twins.

“LIEUTENANT RIZA HAWKEYE, HOW DARE YOU ASSAULT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN!!” a voice boomed from the parking lot. Weary, Riza turned around to face Major Alex Armstrong, bare chested and flexing in the sun. “Wow, who is that?” Ramona asked, fanning herself. He looked a lot like her boyfriend that was squished by that car so many years ago. Standing up straight and posing again, Alex flexed and offered Ramona his hand.

“MAJOR ALEXANDER LOUIS ARMSTRONG,” he bellowed in her face, making her wince and her hair blow back. Ramona reached in her pocket for a mint. “Someone’s been eating onions,” she sang, waving the mints in Alex’s face. Riza stifled a laugh as Alex turned red. “Hey, don’t be embarrassed. Have some,” Ramona offered, popping out two mints for the giant man. “THANK YOU VERY MUCH MADAM!” Alex shouted, gobbling the mints. Ramona smiled. “I have to go, but I’ll be around for awhile.” Riza started the jeep and began to drive off. “WHAT’S YOUR NAME?” Alex called, waving at the jeep. Ramona turned, stuck her head out the window and waved. “RAMONA! RAMONA MUSTANG!” she yelled and put her head back in the window.

‘Mustang?’ Alex thought, scratching his head. ‘She couldn’t be one of Roy’s sisters’ he thought, recalling the picture of two pimply faced, flat chested, downright ugly girls that sat on the Colonel\'s desk. ‘Maybe it was just a bad picture’ Alex thought and smiled. He sniffed his hand, smelling the mint and Chanel No.9 that the ebony haired beauty wore. He smiled and walked away to join Havoc and Fuery in a game of Canasta.

“So Ramona said Roy and Hughes were going to Risenmbool?” Al asked, as his brother sped down the road. Ed nodded and clutched his stomach. It was growling, but his determination to get to Risenmbool was far more important than eating at this moment. Al sighed and leaned back in the seat. He wished his brother would stop the car and rest for awhile, even if only for a few hours. A long time ago they had found a shortcut to Risenmbool that essentially cut the trip from there to Central in half, which is why they could stay out longer and search for the Philosopher\'s Stone and no one would know the difference. They were only about 70 or so miles from Risenmbool, but Al thought it best that he and his brother stop and rest.

“Brother, please stop the car,” Al begged as Ed looked at him startled. “Is there something wrong with you?” he asked, sounding worried. Al was a soldier when it came to traveling; a few hours in a car should be nothing. “No, brother, but you can miscarry if you don’t take it easy. Please stop and get a nap and a bath at an inn or something. Look, there’s an inn over there.” Ed shook his head. “It’s 2:30am Al. You know that no inn will take us, except maybe the ones in Chiron. That’s only 20 miles away,” Ed reasoned with his brother. Al folded his arms. “You have 20 more miles, Full Metal. Then I’ll rip the steering column out and tell your beloved Flame-o that you did it!” Al threatened menacingly. Ed held up his hands in defeat. “Okay okay. We’ll stop in Chiron,” he appeased. He placed his hands back on the steering wheel in time to avoid hitting a cow that was crossing the road. “Fucking cattle,” Ed muttered.

Roy woke from his dream, bathed in sweat. He dreamed that after he told Pinako, Edward, and Winry what he did, that they would chop him up and attach his limbs to Edward. He dreamed that Edward would take his children and tell them what a murdering bastard their father was. He dreamed that everyone would turn their backs on him, and yet again, he would be alone. Hughes came over and sat on Roy’s bed and held him a moment, pouring him a glass of water from the pitcher on the table.

“We have to go,” Roy said in a strangled voice. Hughes held Roy’s head as he forced the water down his friend’s throat. “It’s 3 in the morning, Roy.” Hughes reasoned, wanting to stay in the soft comfortable bed for a few moments longer. Roy was already halfway dressed. “Please, Maes. I won’t inconvenience you for much longer, I promise.” Roy begged. Hughes sighed and reached for his overnight bag to get dressed. Moments later, the mustang sped off into the darkness, after the two men cleaned up the room and left a hefty tip for the sweet innkeepers that treated them so well.

“This looks like a nice place,” Al commented, pulling up at the Braham Inn. Edward nodded, remembering a long time ago when his father and mother brought him to the inn when Al was only a few months old. He grimaced at the thought of his father and took Al’s metallic arm in his. “Let’s go,” he said, ushering his brother. “Al looked uncertain at the dark inn. “Are they even open?” he asked, hoping that they were. Ed nodded. “The man that runs this place is an insomniac. If he\'s sleeping now, that\'s a sign we shouldn’t stay here,” he assured Al as they walked in the doors. The inn had an old time feel, with hand crocheted daisy curtains and a huge oak grandfather clock. “Just the way it was almost seventeen years ago,” Ed whispered, in awe. Mr. Braham walked in the parlor and smiled at the alchemists. “Edward and Alphonse Elrich!” he said, opening his arms to embrace both boys. He gave Edward a curious glance after he hugged him, but said nothing of the womanish body. He always thought Edward looked like a female and his memory wasn’t that good so he assumed he was right.

He smiled as he handed the boys a room key. “I hope you two are as neat and tidy and generous as the last two that were here. Strange pair, they were. One had green hair and green eyes and kept showing me pictures of a sweet lil’ girl. And they left a huge tip for me and Ma,” he added, hoping to inspire the same generosity out of the Elric boys. Edward was so shocked that he dropped his room key. “What did the other person look like?” he asked in a shaky voice as Al bent to pick up the key. Old man Braham scratched his beard and snapped his fingers. “Tall, with black hair. Silent. Looked like there was something on his mind. Moody, perhaps, but I don’t want to judge anyone’s character incorrectly. Oh. And they were in a red mustang with a ‘GOT ALCHEMY‘ sticker on the back.”

Al had to snatch at Ed’s collar to keep him from hoping in the car and driving away. “Would’ja lemme go?!” Ed whined, his struggle against Al futile. Al shook his head. “We know where they’re going, and you need rest.” Al snatched the car keys from Ed and swallowed them so his brother couldn’t get to them. Ed gave Al a dead pan look and muttered some very colorful obscenities as he dredged up the stairs to take a bath and get a nap. “Did you know those two that just left?” Mr. Braham asked Al after Ed was beyond earshot. Al nodded and pointed toward the kitchen. “May I make my brother something to eat?” he asked politely. Mr. Braham shook his head. “No sir. This is a full service bed an breakfast. Tell me what he likes and it will be ready by the time he finishes his shower.” Al nodded gratefully and gave him a list of Edward’s favorite foods.

Ed examined his changing body in the steam-covered mirror. He smiled upon observing the nicely sized breasts with large wine colored nipples. His stomach was also beginning to round out and his belly button cutely stuck out. He laughed and wondered what Roy would think of his new body. His heart fluttered when he looked down and saw a white glove on the countertop. Flipping it over, he saw the triangle and salamander array and knew that it was one of Roy’s alchemy gloves. He lifted the glove and smelled it, inhaling the scent of the aftershave Roy used. The smell of his lover excited him greatly and before he knew it, he was sitting on the toilet, stroking himself off. Playing with one of his hardened nipples, he squeezed his tender breasts as he ran his hand up and down his swollen shaft. “Roy,” he whispered, imagining his beloved’s mouth on him, driving him to the brink of insanity. He continued stroking, lowly whispering Roy’s name until he climaxed, covering his stomach with his hot semen. “Sorry kids,” he mumbled, and then laughed at his childishness. Then he lowered his head on the counter and cried, feeling sorry for himself and hating his emotional roller coaster of feelings.

It was morning, and thanks to some good directions and a lie about needing prosthetics, Roy and Hughes eventually found their way to the Rockbell’s home. The old woman, Pinako, was sitting on the second story deck smoking a pipe while Winry was no where to be found. “Dim, who could that be tearing up my drive like that?” Pinako asked her faithful dog, who was lying over her feet. Dim looked at her and yawned, scratching his ear with his auto mail leg. “Probably some boy here for Winry,” the woman reasoned and stood to go and get her shotgun. Winry was one of the only girls her age that was unmarried or engaged, and Pinako preferred it that way. She didn’t have Winry’s father until she was in her late thirties, and Winry wasn’t even twenty yet. So no rawboned hoodlum boy was going to court her granddaughter without a fight.

Roy and Hughes parked their car as Pinako greeted them on the front porch. “Who the hell are you?” she asked, pointing her gun at Hughes‘ head. Maes was glad he had peed earlier, because his pants would have been thoroughly saturated. “I came with him,” he said lamely, pointing at Roy. “Chicken shit,” Roy muttered. As he stepped toward Pinako, she pointed the gun at him. “Mrs. Rockbell, Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes and myself, Colonel Roy Mustang,” he said bowing his head. Pinako nodded and set her gun down on the post. “You’re Edward’s commander aren’t you? And you’re the one who came here all those years ago and told me my son and daughter in law were dead.” Roy visibly shook at the Pinako’s mention of what he did. Pinako stared Roy in the eyes. “Is Edward dead now too?” she asked, holding her breath. Roy shook his head and Pinako gave an audible sigh of relief. She looked at some clouds far off and frowned. “It will rain soon, gentlemen. Come inside for cocoa and explain why you are here,” she said, turning around and entering the house. Roy and Hughes looked at each other and sighed. They had come this far, no sense in turning around.

Pinako poured hot cocoa into three coffee mugs, adding whiskey to her own. She knew the Colonel was here for some important reason, and for whatever reason it was it would probably be taken best under semi-coherent circumstances. Roy looked into his cup of cocoa and looked meaningfully at Hughes. “Thank you for the cocoa, Mrs. Rockbell. I’m going to take mine out with me for a walk,” Hughes said and smiled. Pinako nodded her head and smiled at Hughes. “Remember what I said boy. The rain is coming,” she said, staring at him. Hughes nodded and held up the cup of cocoa and walked away. “If only she knew,” he murmured, and walked out to admire the countryside.

Roy sighed deeply and looked at Pinako. The woman’s cheeks were slightly flushed, and he wondered what she slipped into her cocoa when he and Hughes weren\'t looking. Clearing his throat, he stood and looked out the kitchen window. “I implore you Colonel. Don’t keep me waiting. Tell me whatever it is on your mind.” Roy turned and nodded. “Please, Mrs. Rockbell. Call me Roy.” Pinako smiled softly and shook her head. “I can’t call the man who murdered my son and daughter in law by his Christian name. It makes it seem too personal, if that makes sense at all.” Roy jolted and dropped his cup into the sink, making the porcelain crack. Pinako came and patted Roy on his back. She was unprepared as he fell to his knees and rocked back and forth. The look on his face was one of guilt and horror. She sat in the chair and looked at him silently. “How did you know,” Roy asked, tears streaming down his handsome face.

Pinako sighed and poured some whiskey into Roy’s cocoa and offered it to him. “Rumors. Rumors combined with the way your face looked the first time you told me of their death and asked me about the location of Hohenhem Elric. And the fact that you looked the way you looked just now. You were around Edward’s age when you killed them, correct?” Pinako asked, calmly sipping her cocoa. Roy nodded, sniffing. “That same innocent look you had then, I saw it first when you gave me that tragic news. You haven’t moved from that spot in your life, have you?” Pinako asked quietly. Roy put his head down and sobbed harder. Pinako herself almost came undone watching the grown man cry. She bent down and took Roy in her arms and he clutched at her, wanting her to understand his pain and his regret. “I’m sorry,” Roy cried, flashing back to when he murdered the Rockbell’s. How defiant and proud they stood before him, how shaky his hand was, how he bowed and said a prayer over both of them before some of the military drones came to cart their lifeless bodies away. He remembered crying in both Riza and Hughes’ arms and hating himself for being brainwashed by the military. He had killed many people, but when those people either were unarmed or innocent, like the Rockbell’s, he felt like he was nothing more than a military whore, paid to murder instead of fuck.

Pinako held Roy’s face in her hands and wiped his tears and kissed the middle of his forehead. Yes, for a long time she had hated Roy Mustang. She hated him, his life, and the chances that he would have that had been taken from her son. As the years passed, she heard stories of him, of his cold harsh demeanor, but letters from Edward said otherwise. That despite being an asshole, Roy was dedicated to making their world a better place and that he wanted to avoid anything happening again like the Ishbal Massacre, and would give his life to fulfill that promise. The man Pinako held in her arms was not a cold-blooded killer like most of the alchemists she had encountered. If her son and daughter in law had to be sacrificed for the greater good, for Roy to gain the military’s trust in hopes to become Fuehrer and change things, then she was honored that her children were instrumental in the process.

Pinako laughed and hugged Roy closer. “Yes Flame Alchemist, I know all about you young man.” Roy pulled himself from Pinako and smiled through his tears. “Not everything. Does Winry know what you told me?” Pinako nodded. “Don’t worry, she forgave you a long time ago, as did I. Unlike you, we let all our pain go. I suggest you do the same,” Pinako stated, placing her cup in the sink. Roy nodded and sighed. “Mrs. Rockbell, I have something else to tell you,” he said, wringing his hands. He was never nervous around people, but something about Pinako Rockbell made him want to have nothing less than 100% of her approval. Pinako nodded her head and folded her arms. “All right Colonel, tell me what this something else is.”

“Ed is pregnant.”

Pinako’s eyes bulged out of her head. “Ed is who?”

“Pregnant.”

“Who is pregnant?”

“Ed is.”

“How?!”

“How do you think?” Roy shouted, turning red from embarrassment.

“Oh shit,” Pinako said and passed out.

Winry came into the kitchen for a cookie and screamed to find Roy Mustang standing over her grandmother, who looked dead! “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!” Winry shouted, pulling a wrench from her tool belt. Roy looked frantic and held his hands up. “Nothing! I came to apologize about your parents and I told her Edward is with child and she passed out and...and..and she was drinking too,” Roy added with an accusatory note in his voice. Winry shook her head. “It’s not enough that you killed Mom and Dad but you had to kill Grams too?” Roy averted his eyes at Winry’s stinging last remark. “Besides, Edward can’t get pregnant. He’s a man!” Winry advanced upon Roy, holding up the wrench planning to beat the living crap out of him. “Well behold a miracle!” Winry and Roy turned to see Ed, Al, and Hughes standing in the doorway. Winry looked and saw that not only was the grinning Edward pregnant, he had breasts too!

“Edward...oh shit,” she said faintly and passed out. Roy smacked himself on the forehead. Things were going better than expected, but not good.

“So why did you come here without telling me?” Ed asked Roy as Al and Hughes carried the unconscious Rockbell’s to the living room couches. Roy fidgeted and took Edward’s hand. “Have you eaten? Are you tired?” he asked, trying to avoid the subject. Ed pulled his hand away. “Yeah I’m tired. Tired of you, Mustang. Tell me what the deal is or I’m walking.” Ed folded his arms over his breasts and glared at Roy. Roy sighed as Hughes placed smelling salts underneath Winry and Pinako’s noses. “Can we go somewhere where we can be alone?” Edward nodded, knowing just the place.

“This is where your house once was,” Roy observed, looking at the remains of the burned out house. Edward nodded, looking up at the sky. “The sky is getting darker, Roy. Say what you need to say so we can bounce outta here.” Roy nodded sighing. Turning away from Edward and slouching, he sighed once again, deep and slow. “I came here today to tell the Rockbell’s and you...that I was the one that killed Winry’s parents in Ishbal.” For a second, there was no sound but for a loud crack of thunder. “What?” Edward asked in a raspy tone. No, not the man he loved and father of his children. Roy didn’t murder the Rockbell’s. He couldn’t have. Roy couldn’t even meet Edward’s eyes. “It was me,” he whispered. He heard a scream and footsteps fast approaching. He felt Edward beating on his back, for him to turn around and stop being a coward. To fight him like a man. As soon as Roy turned, Ed slammed his auto mail fist into Roy’s eye, instantly blacking it out. More punches to his chest and stomach by the auto mail arm, the metal ripping Roy‘s tanned flesh.

Coughing up blood, Roy managed to take off his shirt so Edward could continue to punish him. This is what he expected, what he needed, what he deserved. Blood washed off of Roy’s body as the rain began to come down harder, drenching both of them. “Kill me, I deserve it,” Roy heaved as Edward continued battering him. “Why should I kill you?” Edward tearfully screamed. “So you can be like my father and leave two small children to literally fend for themselves? I hate you I hate you I hate you Hohenheim!” Edward screamed, his strength weakening. He fell to the ground and cried, throwing himself on Roy. Though in desperate need of medical attention and incredibly weak, he placed a blood-covered arm around Edward. He smiled brokenly, an audible rattle in his chest while he breathed. “I love you Edward,” Roy said, his eyes rolling back in his head.

Edward looked frightened as he observed the near dead Mustang. ‘He would have really let me kill him, oh God what have I done!”’ his mind screamed. Fishing in his pocket, he pulled out a small red stone, one that Dr. Marcoh had given him before being taken into the state’s custody. “Use this stone to heal, but it will not work on the person if they are dead,” Edward heard Dr. Marcoh’s voice in his head. “Goddamn you if you leave me with these kids, Roy Mustang,” Edward threatened. He placed the red stone on Roy’s chest and clapped his hands together and hoped for the best.

“Did you see that?” Winry asked, running toward the window. She still felt woozy and almost fell down on the wooden floor. Hughes assisted her as they looked out the window. “What did you see, Miss Rockbell?” he asked, curious to find out what made the girl run. She pointed out the window towards the Elric’s former house. “It looked like a red light,” Winry stated and then shook her head. Hughes nearly dropped Winry. “Red light,” he murmured and looked nervously toward the hill. He had already told Al what Roy told Edward, and they were thinking the same thing-that Edward killed Roy. “Should we,” Hughes began but Al shook his head. “It was meant to be.” he simply stated and walked off. Hughes nodded, placing Winry on the couch.

Roy opened his eyes to find Edward kneeling over him crying. He felt for the holes that were punched in his chest and none were there. He sat up and crushed Edward against his chest and kissed him deeply. “Did you do a human transmutation?” he whispered hoarsely as he held Edward. Ed smirked and pulled away a bit. “No dumbass, because if I had, you’d still be dead and I’d probably be missing my dick and other arm.” Roy burst out laughing, the first laugh he had had since he left Edward back in Central. “I almost lost you,” Ed whispered, kissing Roy lightly. Roy returned the kiss, adding heat to it. “Can you forgive me for what I did?” Roy asked, his brown eyes meeting Edward’s gold ones. Ed nodded. “If the Rockbell’s can, then so can I. You aren’t the same man now as you were then.”

Roy rolled Edward closer to the trunk of the ancient huge cherry blossom tree and placed him on top of his lap. The rain had slacked off, but was still steady. Most of the rain avoided them since most of the branches of the tree were wide and hung low. Roy opened Edward’s coat and whistled at what he saw. He hadn\'t noticed how filled out Edward had become. Smiling, he ran his hands over Ed’s skintight black zippered shirt, and laughed at the fact Ed could only zip it halfway because the shirt wasn’t made for someone with breasts. He unzipped the shirt and Ed moaned as Roy began to kiss his chest, licking rain drops off of Ed’s hardened nipples. “Roy,” he moaned as the Flame alchemist slowly suckled both breasts, first one at a time and then at the same time as he gently pressed them together. One thing Roy did miss was breasts, and since he didn’t know how long Edward was going to have his, he thought it best to play with them as long as he could.

Ed pulled his hair tie off and rung his hair out as he wrapped his arms around Roy’s head, pushing his mouth further down on the sensitive nipples. Roy kissed Ed’s swollen stomach and laughed when the spot he kissed poked out at him. All around Ed’s stomach wherever Roy kissed, one of the twins would drift to that spot and poke out a hand or foot against Ed’s skin to greet whoever it was that was paying them attention. “Geniuses,” Roy whispered, unzipping Edward’s pants. Edward smiled and shimmied his pants off, and unbuttoned Roy’s pants as well. “They get it from their father,” he teased, kissing Roy’s nose. “Which one,” Roy asked, gathering Edward’s lips in a steamy kiss. “ME!” Edward shouted and laughed.

“You little bitch,” Roy muttered and ripped Ed’s boxers off of him. Standing, he took of his own boxers, tossing them aside. He walked over to Ed, smiling as his huge erection bobbed up and down. Ed rolled his eyes. “Why must you destroy my clothing, but gently set yours aside to wear later?” Ed asked, slightly pissed. Roy frowned at him. “You almost killed me. Don’t ruin the mood over ripped clothing, Full Metal. Just think of it as ‘Wow, Roy thinks I’m so sexy, he can’t wait to be with me.’” Roy said, smiling. Ed shook his head. “I’m thinking more along the lines of Roy, the Destructo-con.” Roy pretended to frown. “And to think, I was going to offer you the choice of seme or uke,” he said wickedly, his brown eyes flashing. Ed opened his mouth to protest as Roy climbed on top of him and claimed his mouth, sticking his tongue inside.

Ed drowned in Roy’s kiss, licking and sucking on his tongue. Roy moaned and pulled Ed on top of him, the rain providing excellent lubricant. He thrust himself deeply inside of Ed’s ass, feeling the exquisitely tight hole engulf him. Ed threw his head back and clawed at Roy’s chest, the rain pouring down their naked bodies. Roy held Ed’s widening hips and pulled the boy up and down on his dick, never wanting these moments to end. He lifted his head to suckle Ed’s breasts again and used one hand to pump Ed’s ignored erection. Ed placed his fingers in Roy’s mouth and moaned feeling his lover suck his fingers. For some reason that always turned Ed on and he remembered seeing his mother do the same to his father so many years ago. Roy turned Ed onto his stomach, briefly, then pulled him up by his waist so that his stomach was off the ground, and began thrusting deeply in the boy’s ass. Roy loved that each time he thrust, he would hit Ed’s prostate and Ed would moan loudly and claw at the ground.

“Do you love it?” Roy asked in a low sexy voice, with one hand on Ed‘s back as he caught a rhythm with his thrusts. “Ughmmm,” Edward moaned, his eyes rolling in his head. “I said do you love it, uke?!” Roy yelled, thrusting Ed harder. “UGH YES!” Ed screamed, nearly climaxing. Roy slowed down his thrusting and leaned on Edward, grabbing his breasts and massaging them softly while kissing his back. “Do you want me?” Roy whispered, licking Edward’s ear. “Roy,” he moaned, his eyes hazed over and nearly closed. “Do you, Edward? Do you want me?” Roy breathed in Ed’s ear, gently twisting his already sore nipples and pulling on them. “Unggg...God yes,” Edward hissed, wanting more of his lover, wanting his mouth, his dick, all of him.

Roy pulled Edward on top of him again, this time with Ed’s back to him. Lifting Ed’s arm, Roy sat up and pulled one of his breasts towards his mouth and sucked, occasionally biting the nipple. The rain was no more than mist now, the only coolness keeping both men from burning up. Roy thrust in Edward again and again, turning his head to capture Edward’s lips in a scorching kiss. \"Tell me you want me,\" Roy moaned into Ed\'s hot mouth. \"I want you Roy Mustang; please don\'t stop fucking me..\" Edward trailed off, licking and sucking on Roy\'s bottom lip. Roy pumped Ed’s erection with the same speed as he did Ed’s ass and moments later he heard the moans and felt the boy’s semen coat his hand and the member go slightly limp. Roy licked as much of Ed as he could off of his fingers before Ed sucked the rest off, looking into Roy’s eyes as he sucked. Roy couldn’t handle it and shot numerous times deep inside of Ed, clutching the boy’s hips and burying his head in Ed’s back as he came.

Roy panted as Edward fell against his chest, both of them breathing hard. Ed turned his head and looked up at Roy, who had his eyes closed and had a slight smile on his face. “I take it you didn’t think things would end this way,” Ed whispered, reaching up to kiss Roy’s red lips. Roy smiled and held Ed. “No Full Metal, love, I didn’t,” Roy said, wrapping his arms around his petite lover.

“I’m going up there,” Hughes muttered, staring at the hill and putting on his black trench coat. “No you aren’t.” Pinako said, offering Hughes a joint. Hughes pretended to look shocked. “Mrs. Rockbell!” he chided, placing his hand over his chest in awe. “Cut the crap,” Pinako snapped. “Ed has told me before that you and lover boy over there smoke enough to be considered true Rastafarians.” Hughes blushed and took the weed. “What do you say?” Pinako teased as Winry and Al giggled. Hughes cleared his throat. “Thank you, Aunt Pinako,” he said in a sing song voice. Hughes went outside to sit on the porch and smoke as Pinako watched him and shook his head. Al walked over to Pinako, looking worried. “Will that really calm him down?” he asked, peering out the window. Pinako shrugged. “Either that or he’ll become paranoid and knife us all.” she cackled and went to join Hughes out on the porch.

“We should be getting back. I’m sure everyone is worried, especially after seeing that red light,” Roy stated, picking up their discarded clothes. Ed nodded and began to dress himself, occasionally stopping to kiss Roy or to cop a feel. After putting on the remainders of their clothing, they walked hand in hand to Pinako’s house; surprised to find her and Hughes smoking what smelled like weed on the front porch! Roy stepped up to Hughes, ready to bop him in the mouth. “How dare you give that old woman weed,” he screamed, snatching the joint from his hand. Pinako snatched it and stood on the chair and smacked the back of Roy’s head. Then, she smacked the back of Edward’s head.

“Where in the name of auto mail have you two assholes been?” she cried out before taking a puff of the joint. “Yeah man, where?” Hughes asked, clearly stoned. Pinako looked at Ed and then looked at Roy. “They were fucking!” she accused, pointing at both of them. “Yeah, so what if we were ya old bitch?” Ed snapped, getting right in Pinako’s face. “You wanna get burned, kid?” Pinako snapped, waving the lit blunt in her hand. Hughes scrambled to take the blunt from Pinako’s hand. He offered it to Roy but Ed stared daggers at him. “If you smoke that shit you can sleep alone,” Ed threatened. He had no qualms against Roy smoking, but not around him and damn sure not while he was pregnant. Roy sighed and shook his head. “No can do. Get some sleep; we’re leaving in the morning.” Hughes laughed and hummed. “Okay...Colonel,” he drawled, then he and Pinako burst into laughter. After Roy and Ed walked away, Hughes leaned toward Pinako. “Think they fell for it?” he whispered, looking over his shoulder. Pinako snorted. “Course they did. They were having sex on that hill. You owe me $20,” she stated cheerfully. Hughes snorted and pressed a $20 in the woman’s wrinkled hand. She stood to leave and then turned to face Hughes again. “Hey, why aren’t you high yet?” Hughes smiled and laughed. “I’m a Rasta, remember? I can smoke a whole bowl and not even feel a buzz.” Pinako laughed and hugged him. “Maes, you’re good with me,” she said, walking inside the house. “So are you Pinako, so are you,” he whispered, drawing again on the blunt.

Up in their room alone, Roy handed Edward his own military issued pocket watch. “Open it,” he urged when Edward gave him a questionable look. Inside were the words scrawled ‘DON\'T FORGET 28/07/97. He looked at Roy, still partially confused. Roy sat on his bed and smiled at Ed, smoothing his hair on his head. “In your pocket watch, I saw the words ‘don\'t forget, and the date of 03/10/86, the date you set your house on fire,” Roy added gently. Edward’s chin quivered as he held on to the watch, tears flowing down his eyes. “Today, in that same spot, you set something else on fire. Me,” Roy stated, lifting Edward up by his chin and looking into his eyes. “You brought me back to life, in more ways than one. I don’t know what exactly that red light did to me, but I’m not the same. I feel the bond between all four of us has deepened,” he stated, placing his hand on Edward’s stomach. “I love you, Edward. Don’t ever leave me,” Roy whispered as he leaned into Edward’s soft, pliable mouth. They didn’t make love, just kissed and held each other until the morning light came and they heard Winry screaming for them to eat now or have their food gobbled by greedy Hughes.

>A/N: If you haven\'t guessed, the story takes place in 1997, Ed burned down his house in 1986, so he was around 8 or 9 when he did that. Don\'t let kids play with fire. 7/28 is my birthday!! Yay!!!
