Chapter 9

Rei slowly made his way toward his English class. He had his head down and was mumbling quietly to himself. ‘This can’t be happening to me?’ He lifted his head up and saw his class building up ahead. He sighed and walked over to the trashcan to dispose of his half finished breakfast. ‘Lousy tasting bagel…’ He made his way inside the large gothic architecture building. He climbed the stairs to his class and after forty-steps he finally arrived. He entered the classroom and walked down the lane into his row and sat next to Kai. He turned to his side and saw the dual hair was busy with a small crowd talking to him. ‘That’s right everyone. Just bow down to your so call king Kai.’ The raven hair snarled. He turned his attention toward his book bag and pulled out his notebook. He began to doodle in it and waited for the professor to arrive. ‘Man…bad enough I have every class with him…now I’m going to be seeing him 24/7!’ He glanced over and caught the dual hair staring at him with a gaze that quickly made Rei blush and turn his attention back toward his doodling. ‘This is seriously going to be the worst time of my life now…’



“Two hours in an English class. Come on why so long? I mean all the teacher does is talk nonsense. An hour would be find but two. Come on I could be doing better things then reading out loud…”
“Uh oh. What did Kai do to you this time?” The bluenette turned his attention to the frustrated looking Rei.
“Besides making me read a gay sex book out loud.”
“What? Get out?”
“I wish I was joking…but it happened.”
“Do tell. And don’t leave out any details.”

~Flashback~

“Now can someone please read me passage number five and give me the critique of it.” The old professor glanced around the room and pointed to the raven hair who was busy scribbling on his notebook. “Excuse me.”
“Me?”
“Yes. What’s your name?”
“Rei sir.”
“Rei read the passage and tell me what the critique is.”
“Uh passage?”
“Yes in your textbook.”
“Textbook?” Rei looked at the confused looking old professor. ‘Shit! I didn’t bring that book!’ “Uh…well.”
“Here’s an extra.”
Rei looked over to the dual hair who handed him a covered textbook.
“Oh wow. Thanks a lot Kai.” He picked the book up and saw the highlighted area. ‘I guess he means this.’ He cleared his throat and began to read. “It happened one day in the locker room. I was changing when all of a sudden I saw my huge crush removing his shirt exposing his well-shaped chest. This site made me excited and I felt all the heat rushed from my face straight to my now noticeable erection…” the raven hair’s eyes widen. The entire class was laughing hysterically and he looked down at the professor who seemed real upset.
“Mr. Rei! That is not what we are reading! If you wish to study sex then may I suggest you leave my class and attend a sexual study course!”
“But sir! I mean Kai gave me the book! Tell him Kai.”
“Mr. Smith. I simply handed him the book that was located on one of your shelves. And I assure you that is not what I handed him.” The dual hair grabbed the book from the shocked raven hair and pulled out another thin book that was taped into the English text. “You see. He in fact was not evening reading what we were reading.\"
“Wait no that isn’t mind!”
“That is enough from you! If you do not wish to take this class seriously then I suggest you leave and accept a fail or W grade! Understood?”
“Yes sir.” He lowered his head and simply sat there in sheer humiliation.

~End of flashback~



“That must of have sucked big.” Takao said as he put a french-fry in his mouth.
“It did. I mean everyone was laughing and now I bet they think I am into homosexuality sex! No offense Tyson.”
“None taken.”
“I can’t believe he did that…and to make matters worse the teacher thought it belonged to me! I mean come on I barely got the book! How in the world would I have placed that little book in there with out anyone noticing?”
“Magic?”
“Tyson come on seriously.”
“Sorry buddy. I was just trying to help make you feel better.”
“To bad it isn’t working yet.” Rei poked his lasagna and sighed. “This is going to suck. Not to mention since now I am going to be rooming with him.” Suddenly he heard coughing and he turned his attention to a now red in the face Takao.
“Rooming!” He choked out and quickly grabbed his orange juice and gulped it down.
“Yeah…today in the morning he gave me this letter and told me I was going to be rooming with him.” He handed the bluentte the paper and sighed again.
“Wow now this sucks…but on the other hand it’s a good thing.”
\"How can it be a good thing?”
“Now I can share the room with Mihaeru! And we don’t need to worry about you anymore! Think of all the sex we can have.” He grinned widely and received a hard smack over the head.
“Now what embarrassing things are you saying to Rei?”
They both turned their attention to Mihearu who was standing behind Takao with a lunch tray.
“Hey babe.”
‘Don’t hey babe me. What were you telling Rei?”
“Oh nothing just that how wonderful it will be to share a room with you.” The bluenette removed his backpack from the benched and aloud his boyfriend to sit next to him.
“That better be all. Rei he didn’t say anything about you know?”
“No he didn’t. Just to think of all the sex you two will have from now on.”
“Huh?” He looked over at the raven hair with a puzzled look.
“He’s going to move out.”
“You serious? How come Rei?”
“Kai told me that every performer gets to stay in a separate building.”
“I see. Well that sucks. That building is at the end of the college. It’s to far away to visit. Well from our side.”
“Wow even better. I’m going to be sharing a room with a cold hearted bastard and I will be to far away for any help to get to me in time when he’s busy killing me.”
“Relax. He won’t kill you. Maybe insult you. Embarrass you even more and make your stay there a living hell. But never kill you.” Takao grabbed his sandwich and took a bite from it.
“Great. Sounds like he’s going to drive me to insanity and then I will kill myself instead.” The rave hair grabbed his soda and drank from it.
“Rei don’t worry. He’s a real ass. But if you simply avoid any conflict with him then I am sure you two will be just fine.”
“ I guess…”
“Hey Rei!”
The raven hair turned his attention behind him and saw a smiling Raul running toward their table. He stopped in front of them and said hello to the three.
“You going to join us for lunch?” Mihaeru asked the Spanish boy.
‘No. I already ate. Anyways I heard your going to move to our building soon.”
“Wow. Amazing news here spreads fast.”
“Oh well…I overheard my sister and Kai talking.”
“I see. Yeah I’m going to be bunking it with Kai himself.”
“Oh really? Well that’s strange.”
“What is?” Takao asked.
“Well we each get separate rooms. So we don’t share like everyone else.”
The raven hair looked up at the Spanish boy with pure shock.
“Then why the hell am I going to share a room with Kai!?!”
“Maybe he has a thing for you?”
Rei glared at Takao who stopped laughing right away.
“Well if we get separate rooms then why am I sharing with Kai?” Rei looked up at Raul and the Spanish boy simply shrugged.
“I don’t know. Maybe you can ask Brooklyn. He is after all in charge of everything.”
“Good idea. I’ll ask him right now!” He picked his tray up and made his way toward the exit.
‘Let me go with you!”
“Alright!”
“Bye you guys.”
Raul quickly followed the raven hair leaving the two boys sitting alone.
“Do you think he’s going to get a separate room?”
“No.”
“Well how come?”
“The reason Rei is going to share with Kai is because they are out of rooms.”
”Whoa wait one minute. You knew Mihearu?”
“Yes.”
“Well why didn’t you say something?”
“Cause he didn’t ask.” He took in a spoon full of clam chowder.
“Heh babe you are one cruel one.”
“But you like me that way right?”
“Hell ya!” He grabbed the light blonde and gives him a light hug.



Rei and Raul quickly made there way toward the opera/performing house.
“So how is the building that you guys stay in?”
“It’s kind of like every building here. Except it is meant for the students that are in the performing area.”
“So there are more then just us dancers?”
“Of course. There are the singers and band students all art studies actually. Except they have a separate building. You see we all have our separate buildings. We all go to the building in our field.”
“I see. No wonder I was all the way down there!” He pointed behind them.
“Yep. Since you weren’t in the class you weren’t aloud to stay in these buildings.”
“Interesting. Sucky but interesting.”
Raul simply laughed and they continued to walk toward Brooklyn’s office. The raven hair was about to open the door when all of a sudden Raul grabbed his wrist.
“Hang on. I think he’s with somebody.”
They both stood in font of the door and leaned in to hear.


“So who is this guy Brooklyn?”
“He’s the new guy. He was suppose to be in the class but didn’t make it in time.”
“So why is he in the class now?”
“Because it’s been over a month and I noticed that this kid has fire.”
“I still don’t think this is wise Brooklyn.”
‘That’s Kai.’ The raven hair leaned in closer and tried to hear the entire conversation.
“You two haven’t seen his performance.”
“I heard he messed up on my part.”
“That’s true but he was just starting. He wasn’t ready.”
“So you are going to jeopardize this college’s reputation with him?”
“Heh. I think you are feeling threaten by him.”
“Well I haven’t seen him performer so I don’t care.”
“Trust me Julia you will be amazed.”
“Whatever you say. But I just want to let you know Brooklyn. That the rest of those who didn’t make in will be talking.”
“Let them talk. Rei earned his way in. I am willing to let him join.”
‘You seriously turned soft Brooklyn. Come on Julia.”
“Right. Later Brooklyn.”
“Bye you two.”
They both made their way toward the door and stepped out. They made their way out of the hallway.
“They left.” Rei looked behind him and Raul nodded.
They both walked out from the corner and made their way toward the door to Brooklyn’s office. The raven hair knocked.
“Come in!”
With that they both stepped in.
“Oh hey Rei. Oh and Raul is with you too.”
“Hey Brooklyn.” The Spanish boy smiled at him.
\"So what can I do for you two?” He began to shuffle through some papers on his desk.
“Well Kai told me about moving down to these buildings by the end of this week.”
“Oh yes. Is there a problem about it?” He looked up at Rei with question.
“Well you see. I was telling Rei that we all get separate rooms.” the Spahisn boy jumped in.
”That is true.”
\"Oh so I will get my own room right?”
“Nope.”
‘What? Well why not!?”
“We are all booked. Since you came in late a lot of the rooms were filled in by the newcomers.”
“Oh…”
“Brooklyn then how about if he rooms with me?”
The orange hair looked over at the Spanish boy and nodded with a no.
“Sorry Raul. I actually want Rei to room with Kai in order for him to learn a thing or two.”
“A thing or two about what?”
“You still need a lot of practice in your forms. So I decided to bunk you with someone with a lot more experience. Also I just want you two to get along.”
“But.”
“Sorry my mind is made up. Now if you two are finish please leave now.” He waved at them and then began to sign some forms.
They both simply nodded and left the room.
“Sorry Rei. I didn’t know.”
\"It’s alright…I mean what’s the worse that can happen right?”



It’s Friday afternoon and Rei is slowly dragging his things toward the opera/performing suites. He climbed up toward the third floor and looked at the door in front of him.
‘I guess this is it.’ He knocked and waited. No one answered. He knocked once more and waited. In a few minutes the door was open and a pissed looking Kai greeted him.
‘Crap…I think he was sleeping. Well it’s 4pm. Who sleeps that late anyways?’ “Hey.”
Kai simply grunted and walked inside.
‘Grouch.’ He followed inside and stopped in the middle. It was a big room. Bigger then his dorm room with Takao. In fact is was the size of a townhouse.
‘Whoa…this is huge! And the college can afford it!?!’
“Over here.”
Rei snapped back into reality and saw Kai walking into a small hallway leading to a bedroom. He followed the dual hair and entered a large bedroom. A large bed surrounded it and it had an antique drawer against the wall. In the corner was a computer resting on top of a red-oak desk. There was a huge stereo inside as well and the walls were plain.
‘Wow…hey wait a minute there looks like there isn’t room here.’ He turned his attention toward Kai and cleared his throat. “Um exactly where are my things going?”
Kai pointed toward the corner of the room and the raven hair followed his gaze over there.
“What the hell!? I can’t even put my bed there!”
“What a shame.” With that Kai walked out of the room leaving a now angered Rei.
He looked back toward his area and roughly dropped his things.
‘How the hell am I suppose to fit there!?!
The area Kai reserved was a tiny corner against the wall near the bathroom door. It was besides the computer desk and it was large enough to place a small nightstand.
“And I said what’s the worse that can happen.” Rei grabbed his hair and yelled in frustration. ‘He expects me to sleep standing up!?’
