Past, Present and Future

This is my first Gundam Wing fic. If I get anything wrong I\'d appreciate being told what it is and how to fix it.

Together Again

The five former Gundam pilots stood in the middle of a solid metal room that had been found deep below the streets of the L1 Colony. Three of the walls were lined with computers and filing cabinets while the last held nothing but a door.
The five of them had gotten a call from Sally Po telling them about how two junior Preventers found it when they fell through the floor of the building above.
Further investigation had discovered that the hidden room had belonged to none other than Doctor J, Professor G, Doctor S, Instructor H and Master O.
Upon discovering this, the five of them had made it to the L1 colony double time.
When they got there however they found that someone had broken in and taken all the files as well as opening a secret panel in the wall removing what now looked to them to have been a very small disc.
“Did you find any fingerprints?” Quatre asked Sally who was setting up a couple of special lights.
“No. Whoever did this knew what they were doing and where to find everything that they wanted,” Sally replied plugging the lights in, “Would you turn the main lights out for me Wufei?”
Wufei touched a small switch by the door.
“When our two agents found this I closed it off to everyone but those with high security access. Une and Noin have been the only ones to enter since then,” Sally said, “I sprayed a special liquid that will show the footprints of people who wasn’t wearing the special boots I had you put on.”
With that Sally turned on the special lights.
They all looked at the floor. They could see two sets of footprints which, obviously belonged to the two junior agents.
But that was all.
“Damn I thought we might have had something,” Sally said disappointed.
“It’s alright Sally,” Quatre said looking sympathetically at the high class Preventer.
“You’re wrong Sally you did better than you think,” Heero said.
“What do you mean?” Sally asked looking at Heero.
Heero walked up to a set of filing cabinets and started to move them.
There on the wall, behind the filing cabinets, was a map drawn in some sort of special paint.
The rooms six occupants examined the map.
“It seems to be a map to some sort building in the colony,” Duo said.
“What’s this?” Quatre asked pointing at a small word written under the map.
Duo leaned down close to it.
“It says Esperaza,” Duo said messing up the pronunciation a little.
“What does that mean?” Quatre asked.
“It is Spanish for Hope,” Trowa said softly
Heero suddenly had a flash back.
# He was sitting in a cell of some sort. He would have been about twelve, maybe less. In his arms was a figure that seemed to be clouded by the shadow of his memory.
“You have to wake up Yuki. Please wake up,” Heero said shaking the figure lightly, “I won’t let you die on me.”
“Well if you’d stop shaking me I’d open my eyes,” a female voice replied softly.
Two eyes appeared from the shadows. They were as black as Wufei’s, maybe even more so.
“We’re never going to get out of here,” Heero said, “We might as well submit.”
“No. Fe and Esperaza. That’s what you need to have big brother. Fe and Esperaza,” the voice said.#
“Fe and Esperaza,” Heero whispered.
“What’s that you said Heero?” Duo asked.
“Nothing,” Heero replied looking at Duo.
Sally took a couple of pictures of the map while Quatre and Duo studied it trying to figure out whether or not to go to the place indicated on the map or to just leave it.
Wufei stood next to Sally asking what kind of security was guarding the room and how the thief could of got in here.
Heero walked up to Trowa.
“Trowa what does Fe mean?” Heero asked the elder of the five Gundam pilots, “In Spanish I mean.”
“It means Faith. Why Heero is something wrong?” Trowa asked the normally silent teen.
It had been a few years since the Mariemaia incident.
Duo, Heero, Quatre and Wufei were now eighteen and he himself was twenty.
“Faith and Hope,” Heero muttered.
“Heero are you okay?” Trowa asked again waving his hand in front of Heero’s face.
“What?” Heero snapped.
“I asked whether or not you were okay,” Trowa said looking at the younger boy worriedly.
“I’m fine,” Heero replied.
“What are you two whispering about?” Duo asked walking up to the two.
“Nothing,” Trowa said.
“Well Quatre and I have decided that we should investigate where the map indicates,” Duo said.
Quatre came over nodding at them.
“It was obviously put there for some reason,” Quatre said.
“Yeah to trap an idiot,” Wufei said coming over with Sally.
“Now Wufei I think you guys should check it out. This special camera will project the map. So what do you think Heero. Should you go and see?” Sally said looking over at Heero who was still deep in thought over his flash back.
“Big brother?” Heero whispered.
“What’s that Heero?” Sally asked.
“Whose big brother?” Quatre asked.
“What?” Heero said looking up at everyone.
“Geez Heero you are spacing out a lot aren’t you,” Duo said patting his friend on the back.
“So what do you think Heero should we go and investigate the map?” Quatre asked.
Heero just nodded.
“Well if Heero thinks we should I’ll go to,” Trowa said, “Wufei are you in?”
Wufei looked at Trowa then nodded.
Sally handed the camera to Wufei.
“Here’s the map. Be careful. If you need any help just call,” Sally said before leaving.
The five Gundam pilots left the room and made their way to the street where their transport was sitting.
“Does anybody have any idea where this place is?” Duo said taking the camera from Wufei and projecting the map on the front of a building.
“Eight blocks west of here,” Heero said getting into the transport and starting it up.
Duo got in beside Heero turning the camera off.
The others climbed in the back seat.
As Heero drove Duo complained.
“I hate these gas powered transports I prefer the good old earth vehicles. But you know what I’d prefer. I’d prefer good old Deathscythe,” Duo said.
“Well you can’t. Deathscythe isn’t required nor does it even exist anymore,” Quatre said, “There’s nothing I’d like more than to be able to pilot Sandrock again but it is not needed anymore we don’t have to fight.”
“That may not be true for much longer,” Heero said.
“What do you mean Heero?” Quatre asked.
“You can’t be serious,” Duo said looking at the boy.
“It is obvious that you know something we don’t Yuy,” Wufei said, “I’m sure we’ll find out in our own time.”
Heero stopped the transport in front of a brick building with a neon sign that read ‘Tener Fe’.
“Have Faith,” Trowa said.
“What is this place?” Quatre asked looking at Heero.
“Night club,” Heero stated opening the door and walking in.
As soon as the doors opened the five former Gundam pilots were blasted with loud, ear pounding music.
Each Gundam pilot had a different reaction to the music.
Heero completely blocked it out focusing on the bartender behind the bar.
Duo started jumping up and down and heading for the dance floor but Heero was able to grab the back of his black shirt.
Trowa blocked out the music but looked around carefully making note of all the exits out of habit.
Quatre steeled himself making it look like it didn’t affect him but honestly the loud music made him cringe and shrink slightly.
Wufei scrunched up his face and moved closer to Trowa. He didn’t like this one bit.
The group made it up to the bar.
Heero caught the attention of the bartender who came over to them.
“How can I help you boys?” the bartender asked.
Duo was about to ask for a drink when Heero put his hand over Duo’s mouth.
“Esperaza,” Heero said pronouncing it perfectly.
The bartender looked at Heero then nodded.
The bartender went to the cash register and opened it. He lifted the tray and pulled out a large manila envelope.
The bartender came back over and handed the envelope to Heero and nodded at him.
Heero nodded back in thanks and headed for the front door. The others followed him.
“So open it already,” Duo said.
Heero opened the envelope and pulled out the contents. He went through the contents finding a map of somewhere on earth. A letter was also in the envelope as well as a wad of money.
Quatre took the letter from Heero who was looking at the map.
When Quatre saw that it was addressed to all of them he began to read out loud,

“Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei.
Knowing you five you probably found our secret hide away. Everything we know about you and your past is written on a disc at the back of the room in a secret chamber. A lot of other important things are on that disc too but since you’re reading this note some one stole it and if we’re correct in assuming all the files as well. We have a fair idea who would have stolen it. The only place she will feel safe is at the place indicated on the map. If she stole the disc than it is probably for a good reason and your skills will be needed again.
Heero I hope you will forgive me for what I have done. As she would say Tener Fe and Esperaza.
Doctor J, Professor G, Doctor S, Instructor H and Master O.”

When Quatre finished they all looked at Heero.
“Who is this she they’re talking about,” Duo asked.
Heero didn’t say anything he just stared at the map.
“Come on Heero you can tell us,” Quatre said his curiosity piqued.
“I’m not so sure myself,” Heero said softly, “Something in my past, repressed memories, but I think I have a fair idea.”
“We’re not going to push you for more,” Trowa said stopping Duo and Quatre with a look, “I’m sure you will tell us if and when you’re ready.”
“So Yuy what do you say we do,” Wufei asked.
“We head for earth,” Heero said.
