duo\'s birthday party

Hello again! This story has a LEMON in it. Thats my only Warning, OH, and that it is Duo and Hilde. If you don\'t like Duo and Hilde as a couple please don\'t read. They are my favorite couple and they will who I write about mostly. All standard Disclaimers apply.&

DUO\'S BIRTHDAY PARTY..

\"Beep........beep.......beep....\"

\"Oh, damn.\" muttered Hilde, as she opened one cornflower blue eye and looked at the clock.*5:30... What was she thinking?* She shut off the alarm and stretched.*Gotta run.* climclimbed out of bed and dressed in her running clothes. As she walked quietly through the house, to the kitchen, she thought,*One week to Duo\'s birthday...I hope I\'ve got everything ready. Ordered the cakes, can get them Friday. I have to go get the watch from the Jewellers. Oh! I have to call the guys and the gals. I\'d better do that today.I have to figure out a way to keep Duo busy until 6 on Saturday .* She turned on the coffee pot and watched it, until she was satified it was brewing.* Need to replace that damn thing soon.* She went to Duo\'s door and tapped gently. She heard him moving around, heard a grunt and a muffled\"what?\"

She cracked the door and stuck her head in, \"Going running. Coffee\'s on.\" She pulled her head back out and closed the door quietly. Seeing him half asleep and bare chested made her heart race.She wanted to hold him in her arms so bad and kiss that cute face it hurt. *God,how can I love him so hard? Damn. Hilde, you are a baka girl!!!Fallin\' for someone like Duo Maxwell.I really gotta tell him, what if he laughs at me? Oh , well, it\'s gotta be better than this hopeless feeling.* She stepped out the door and started her run.

Duo laid there for 5 more minutes,before he sat up and said \"shit!\" He jumped out of bedm, and quickly dressed. He wanted to follow Hilde. She had been acting odd lately and he wanted to know why. She seemed preoccupied. He was worried ....*Maybe she was seeing some one. I don\'t want to lose her. I love her too much. I\'ll just die.....well ...maybe I won\'t die, but I\'ll feel like I will.* He followed her out the door, but kept his distance, so she wouldn\'t see him.

Hilde ran down the side walk to the park. She adjusted her headphones and picked up her pace. When she got to the small lake in the park she stopped and looked out over the water. She took off the phones and gazed over the water. She sighed and continued with her run. She didn\'t stop to talk to anyone and no one talked to her.

Duo turned around half way through her run and went back home. He poured himself a cup of coffee and hung his head over the cup*I must be imaging things.*

The door openned and Hilde burst in.

\"Duo!\" She said, chipperly,\"Good morning! You\'re up early.\"

\"Aw, problems at the shop.\" He said looking up at her. He looked at her soaked up every little detail about her,from her sweat-soaked hair to her white tennied feet.*G od, I love her!*

\"What kind of problems? Something I can help with?\" She asked as she poured a cup of coffee and sat down across from him.

\"Naw, I\"ll get it. It\'s nothing real big anyway. You just do what you always do.\"

\"Yeah. I know run the business on paper.\" She said, \"It\'s what I do best! Well, gotta shower, later, Duo.\"

She stood and placed her hand on his shoulder as she passed by him. He put his hand up and touched her fingers as her hand lingered on his shoulder. Both of them had the same thought as they touched .*I love you.*

Hilde sat at the computer and typed in the new information for thenext order out. Their business was doing well, and hopefully it would continue to be good. The vid-phone rang.

\"Hello?\"

\"Hilde. Is Duo there?\"

\"Heero! He\'s down at the yard, can I take a message, or do need to talk to him.?\"

\"I need to talk to him.\"

\"Ok, I\'ll run down and get him. Hang on. Oh, will this mission be done by Saturday?\"

Stunned slience from Heero, as he looked at her,\"Why?\"

\"It\'s Duo\'s birthday and I\'ve planned a party for him. Can you come,Heero? I need someone to keep him busy for a couple hours in the afternoon. I \'ve got everything ready. I just needed to call you but you beat me to it. I\'ve gotten everyone else.\"

Heero smiled at the look on her face and said\" yes, Hilde. Now please get Duo so we can be done b Saturday. Oh, And I promise to bring him home unharmed. What time is this pa\" <\"

\"I\'ve planned it for 6, but I need him busy from 4 till then. Could you do that?\"

\"You\'ll owe me,Hilde.\"

\"Yes, I know.I\'ll go get Duo.\"

Hilde hurried to get Duo from the yard. As she entered , a few of the guys pointed her in the right direction.She shouted to him as she watched him put down a large peice of metal.He looked up and walked over to her.

\"Hey, Hilde! Whats up?\"

\"Heero\'s on the phone.\"

\"I suppose he has another mission.\"He groaned.

He grabbed her arm and they walked back to the house. Duo went to answer the phone and Hilde went to the kitchen. She heard Duo come into the kitchen. She was about to turn around and face him, when she felt his arms slip around her waist.
\" I have to go, Hilde.I\'ll be back in a couple days. He kissed her cheek and hugged her.

\"Becareful, Duo.I need you back here in one piece, you know! Heero promised me he\'d bring you home whole. You besure you help him,Duo Maxwell!\"*Not like last time.* She shuddered at the thought,of the last mission.......They had gone on a seek and distroy mission on former OZ and White Fang operations.It had been a ground mission. Duo had been shot two times, protecting Heero from the shots. She knew Heero felt a little guilty about all of thnd fnd felt Duo had been irresponsable by taking the brunt of the attack. Heero had always felt that Duo had something worth living for , where he {Heero} had not. But that too had changed thanks to Relena and how she felt for him. It had changed Heero\'s whole perspective of life. Hilde stood next to Duo lost in her thoughts.

\"Hilde?\" Duo said snapping her out of her thoughts.It was as if he read her mind. \"It\'s not gonna happen again, you know.I promise. Hell, Heero promised.\"

She smiled up at him,wondering if she should tell him......*no, i\'d better not ... he wouldn\'t be thinking about the battle then. It could wait.*

Duo thought about telling her how he felt, but then she would worry even more about him. It could wait.

He turned to go to the salvage yard where Deathscythe was and turned to wave to Hilde.

She waved to him, then hollered at him. \"Hey, Duo! You better hurry , Heero will be waiting and you know how impatient he is!\"

He turned and laughed out loud. He then jumped into his gundam and took off. She watched the gundam until it disappeared from sight. Hilde went back into the house.

The week went quickly for Hilde.She had picked up the cakes, his present from the jewelers, and her dress from the cleaners.She hadn\'t wore the dress since the Preventers christmas party two years ago.*God, that had been so much fun. Thats when I realized that I loved Duo.Man, two years! I should have told him forever ago.* She was doing paper work as her mind drifted away to the party. Thats when she had met the outher pilots the rest of the preventers. She knew Relena from the Libra, and they renewed thier freindship that night. She also became quit close to Quatre. But, Duo and she werestill very best friends and she hoped that how she felt wouldn\'t mess that up. They had gone through so much and they were so close, almost like soul mates. Maybe they were soulmates.It sort of scared her, after the party when she knew that she was in love with Duo. But when the boys came back from that mission where Duo had been shot, she really knew that she loved him. It was so hard to see Duo all bloodied and bruised and it didn\'t help thst Herro had brought him in and dumped him carelessly[or so it seemed to her] on his bed,as he muttered I\'m sorry as he left. She had stood in front of the wounded Duo, uncertain what to do. Her heart was at her feet and when he moved she was at his side.She took care of him with little reguard to herself . She remembered sitting up with him, watching him and helping him through it all. She didn\'t really want to do it again.

She snapped back to reality when the computer beeped at her. It was done with the downloading. She stretched and shut down the compputer. She was getting ready to leave the room when she heard the door open.

\"Let me go,Heero. I\'m ok.\"

\"I promised to bring home in one piece,uninjured. Mission failed.\" Heero said monotonely.

\"HILDE!\" Duo shouted, \"Are you home?\"

SHe came around the corner and saw Heero holding Duo up. Both boys looked tired , bloody , and dirty. She went to help Heero put Duo in a chair. she looked at him\"Are you hurt?\"

He shook his head, and pointed toward the shower.

\"Yes, go ahea'll 'll take care of Duo.\"

He nodded and grabbed his duffle. Hilde called to him as he walked away. \"Heero! Are you staying the night?\"

\"Is it ok?\"
\"Yes.\" She then turned to Duo. \"What happened, Duo?\" as she opened his shirt to look at the raw flesh wound on the top of his shoulder.

\"Aw, Hilde. It\'s nothing, just a scratch.\" He tried to squrim away.

\"Hold still,\" she said firmly.\"It might be just a scratch, but it doesn\'t need to be infected.\"

\"Are you mad at me,Hildy?\"

\"No,\"She said as she glanced at him, \" just a little disappointed you won\'t hold still.\"

\"Ok! Ok!\" He said, slumping a little. She fingered his wound and he flinched at her touch. She gently cleaned the wound with peroxide and stopped whren he flinched again. When he stopped ,she put some bacta cream on it and put a small piece of gauze on it. She sighed and plced her hand on his good shoulder.\" All done, Duo. I\'m pretty sure you will live.\" He looked up at her and grinned. He reached up and touched her fingers.

\"Thanks, Hilde.\"

\"Hey, Heero\'s out of the shower.Your turn,Duo.\"

He got up and walked away. She watched him, he had a slight limp, but if he didn\'t tell her about it , it was fine. She sat down at the table. Heero came into the room. He looked at Hilde and broke her from her random thoughts.

\"I must apologize to you, Hilde. I failed my mission.\"

\"What?\" She looked at him. \"Oh, Heero. It\'s ok.Duo\'s pretty reckless, so I don\'t blame you for this.\"

\"Hn.\"

\"Sit'll 'll fix you both something to eat.Do you have to call Relena?\"

\"I\'d better. Just because she doesn\'t believe in fighting, doesn\'t mean she won\'t kick my butt in a heartbeat.\"

She grinned at this remark, thinking about Relena kicking some ones butt. Heero grinned, too. It was kinda funny.

\"Well, you can call her after you get something to eat.\"

He listened, hearing the shower. \"Is everything ready for tomarrow?\"

\"Yes, I just need him buzy for that little bit of time.\"

\"Mission excepted.\"

The food was ready when Duo came out of the shower. He watched her set the food out and decided he would tell her how he felt tonight.

Heero went to vid-phone and called Relena, while Hilde got some blankets and a pillow for Heero. She put them by the couch for him. They all watched tv for awhile. Hilde started to feel tired, so she stood and told the boys good night, and headed for her room. Duo got up and followed her. He stood by her door and knocked.

\"Hilde? May I come in?\"

She opened the door and let him in. He looked around her room. It was so neat and clean and lived in, not at all like his room. He crossed the room and sat by her on the bed. He took her hand and looked at her face.

\"I have to tell you something , I can\'t wait any longer. I think .....no.... I know that I\'m in love with you.\"

He looked at her face and into her eyes,expecting something from her.

She looked back at him, trying her best not to leap on him and kiss him silly.

\"Oh, Duo, I\'ve waited for so long for you to say that to me. I\'ve loved you since the preventers christmas party.\"

He pulled her into his arms and wrapped them around her. He pulled her close and kissed her lips. Their first kiss was rather awkward, but that would change. He kissed her again and wanted to go farther, but he wasn\'t sure she was ready.

\"Hilde......are you .....?\"

\" I don\'t know, Duo.\"

\"It\'s ok, Hilde. Can I sleep in your arms,though?\"

\"Yes, I think that would be ok.\"

The next morning ,Hilde was up fixing breakfast when someone knocked on the door. She wiped her hands and went to the door.

\"Relena! Come in!\"

Relena smiled and came in the house. She went to the table and sat down.

\"Coffee?\"
\"Yes, \" Relena sighed, \"Is Heero up?\"

\"I\'d bet on it.\"

Duo took that moment to stumble into the kitchen. He went right to the coffee pot and poured himself a cup. Only then did he notice that Relena was watching him. She grinned at him and then looked at Hilde. She put her finger in the air and made a hissing sound and said, \"HOT.\"

Duo looked at the girls and shook his head. He looked around and asked, \"Where\'s Heero?\"

\"He wasgone when I got up. But, I\'m sure he\'s here somewhere.\"

\"Well, I guess I\'d better get dressed, wouldn\'t want Heero killin\' me because his girlfriend saw me topless.\"

\"Oh, Duo.\"Hilde giggled.\" Hold on, Duo. Let me check your shoulder.\"

He stopped and let her toiched his shoulder. He almost melted with her touch. He grabbed her arm when she finished and pull her into his arms. He kissed her, whispered in her ear, \"I love you,Hilde.\"

She whispered back,\"I love you, too.\"

Hilde returned to the kitchen and continued with breakfast. Relena sipped her coffee and watched Hilde make breakfast. Heero came into the house and almost grinned from ear to ear. He was very happy to see her.

\"Relena.\"

\"Heero.\" She returned his monotone greeting. Then he sat down beside. Sh. She got up and got him a cup of coffee. She set it down in frunt of him and returned to her seat.

\"Y ou look no worse for wear. Are you ready for today?\"
\"Hn.\" Heero looked at her. I have to spend two hoours alone with him. Perhapes, I should knock him out aeaveeave him in the car.\"

\"Relena laughed out loud.

Hilde turned around and picked up a piece of paper and a pen. She wrote down a few things in a list.

\"Here\'s the excuse to get him out of the house. Quatre should be here afterwhile. And breakfast is ready.\"

She set plates out and put the food on the table. Duo had heard Hilde say food and he appeared in the door way.

A few hours later:

There was a knocked on the door. Quatre stuck his head in and yelled, \'\'Hello! Anyone here?\"

He heard a muffled yell and he went to the sound.

Every one was out in the back yard.

\"You have a hot tub, Duo?\'

\"Yeah, got it a couple of weeks ago. I\'m having a hard time getting water. That\'s why it\'s not full or in use yet.\"

\"Well, I think it\'s still neat.\"

\"Yeah, everyone will have to come over andplay in when it\'s full.\"

\"Duo, I have s few things I need to get for me.\"

\"Now? I have...\"

\"They can go along with you.\"

Hilde and Relena watched the boys leave. They had two hours to do all they needed to do and before everyone arrived. The time passed quickly and soon all the guests arrived and werdingding in darkdark living room. The house was dark when the 3 boys came back. Duo pushed the door open andset the packages on the table before he walked into the living room.He frowned as he noticed how dark the house was, \"Hilde?\"

He jumped back when everyone jumped out of the shadows and screamed ,\"Happy Birthday, Duo!\" Heero and Quatre pushed him back into the room.Duo was suddenly surrounded by all his friends. Hilde slipped quietly into the kitchen. This was Duo\'s night.

\"Hey, where\'s Hilde?\" Duo asked, to no one in perticular. He looked around the room, not seeing her at all.

He went toward the kitchen getting side tracked a coouple of times before getting into the room he wanted to be in. He saw Hilde leaning up against the sink, with her back to the door. She was looking out the window.Duo gasped when he saw he. She was dressed in a midnight blue velvet dress. It was short and has spagetti straps. Duo\'s mouth literally watered as he looked her up and down. He was behind her in an instant, wrapping his arms aroound her waist and pulling her close to him. He whispered in her ear, \"you look good enough to eat.\"

\"Yoou got me ice cream cake?\" aid aid and he turned her around to face him. \"Thank you, Hilde. This really nice.\"

He leaned down and kissed her,pulling her tight against him. He slid his hand down to the length odf her dress and started to slid his hand under her dress. She leaned into his chest and leaned in for an other kiss, this time more passionate then the last one.

Quatre walked int o the kitchen. He was looking for the guest of honor and the hostess. He looked up and his eyes got wide and he eeped. Duo and Hilde broke their embrace and looked at him. Duo was grinning and Hilde was blushing.

\"Uh, sorry.\"

\"Hey, Quatre! What\'s up?\"

\"Uh....Everyone wants you to open you presents.\"

\"Cool, comin\' Hilde?\"

\"In a minute, Duo. Go, birthday boy.Enjoy.\"

The two boys left. Hilde straighten her dress, pulled the ice cream cakes from the freeze and carried them into the living room . She placed them on the small table in the middle of the room.She stood back and watched all of Duo\'s friends. Yes, Duo\'s friends, it was a luxury she didn\'t have. Oh, she knew all these people, but of all of the she knew Duo the best and the most. He was her best friend. She watched as Duo opened his gifts one by one and grinned at all the ooo\'s and ahhh\'s he got for each one.When he got to Hilde\'s, he held it up and looked for her. He tore open the package and looked in the small box. He had a hugh grin on his face when pulled the gift from the box. It was almost like the watch he has lost, just more expensive. He fixed his gaze on her and she grinned at him. He winked at her and she smiled at him. There was a promise in that wink.

He turned to all his guests and said, \"Thanks you guys. This has been the best birthday ever.*With the best yet to come.* He thought as he looked over at Hilde, who seemed to be cutting cake.*Cake!* \"Hey, everybody! Hilde\'s cutting the cake! Lets have cake!\"

After Hilde served everybody she stood back again and watched everyone. She didn\'t see Duo until he grabbed her around her waist and lift her into the air.

He leaned into her ear after he put to the floor,\"Thank you, Hilde. This was wonderful.\"

\"You\'re welcome, Duo.\"

He turned her to face him and kissed her. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at the pair. They were all wondering when that happened.

Heero almost kept his composure until Relena looked at him, then almost laughed . It wasn\'t often he knew something before her. He would have to tell her later. Quatre looked away,as his face turned red. Trowa looked at him and wondered why he was blushing. After awhile theparty started to break up as all the guests began to leave.

Sally turned to Duo and said,\" let us know when you get that tub filled and we\'ll have a hot tub party!\"

We Fei looked ar Sally with a pained look.

She smacked his arm and said,\"admit it you had fun.\"

He just stared at her, she shook her head and pulled him out the door.

Relena went to Hilde and grinned at her. She said, softly,\" Heero told me what happened between you to. I\'m so glad for you! Call me tomarrow.\"

Heero grabed Relena\'s handd and pulled her out the door.

After everyone left ,Hilde went around the house and started to pick up the used dishes. Duo closed the door and locked it. He started tut out off lights.When she came back into the kitchen, Duo was waiting for her. As soon as she emptied her hands, he grabbed her and pulled her close to him. He tilted her head and kissed her. At the same time, he ran his hands down the velvet back of her dress. He lothe the feel of the soft, fuzzy material. He slipped his hands in front of the dress and gently touched her breasts. He grasped them and rubbed both of her nipples with his thumbs, feels them become stiff and hard between his thumbs and the materials.SHe let out a soft moan, then fumbled with his shirt buttons.She had gotten most of them unbuttoned, when she felt his hands leave her breasts and slide down her body and slid up her legs under her dress. He pushed he gently down on his bad. He loked at her,and smiled. He took off he pants and then came his boxers. He laid down beside her and ran his hands over her body, then down to her panties. He gently removed them and slid his fingers between her legs. She let a out a small gasp as he entered her with his fingers.His fingers found her nub and begain rubbing it untill she was panting and moving with his fingers.

\"This was the best birthday present, I ever got.\" He kissed her.\" I hope You will give me many more of these presents, and not just on my birthday!\"

\"As long as you love me forever!\"

\"Oh, don\'t think that will too big of a problem,Hilde. I will always love you!\"

They snuggled close to each other.

Duo\'s thoughts were toward the future as he held his one true love close.He drifted off to sleep, completely content with his life.

Hilde snuggled close to her truelove. Sighing, she closed her eyes and let her thoughts drift away. She had wanted this for so long and now her dreams were coming true. She ,too, drifted off into a contented sleep.
