Tiramisu and Biscotti

Disclaimer: I don’t own FMA, or the delicious characters within. This is before Hughes and Roy got promoted, hence they are Majors and everyone involved is at least one rank below where they are in the anime.

Hughes and Ross walked down the cobblestone streets of Central quietly. It was twilight, and the street lamps had just began to burn amber when they reached Fultham’s Coffee Shop. Ross had quietly noticed while working late that Hughes was in his office, staring at something. She knew that he kept a picture of his girlfriend, Gracia in his drawer, but also had pictures of Major Mustang in the drawer as well. She was studying a case file for Brigadier General Haruko and knew that Major Hughes sometimes kept files in his office for study. She and Hughes silently entered the shop and sat down, discarding their jackets.

“I appreciate you coming with me for biscotti, Maria.” Ross looked up at the green haired man who was profusely cleaning a streak off his glasses. That had been the only thing he said to her other than asking her if she wanted a coffee break. Maria usually worked nights as well, so she was accustomed to being asked on food and beverage outings with Major Hughes.

Maria nodded and smiled. “It was very generous to ask me to accompany you.” She handed the chubby pretty faced waitress her menu and ordered a vanilla cappuccino with extra whipped cream and Tiramisu.

Hughes smiled at Maria’s order. “Roy loves Tiramisu,” He murmured before he could catch the words falling out of his mouth. He reddened and prayed Maria was too occupied with ordering, but he noticed her moled eye narrow and inwardly curse himself.

“Chai tea with chocolate biscotti,” He said to the waitress and handed her his menu. The girl nodded her head and took the menus and smiled at them, assuming they were a cute military couple. Returning moments later, she gave them their food and grinned at them again before walking away.

Maria pointed with her fork at the waitress and then looked at Hughes. “Someone has a crush on you,” She sang and then giggled. Hughes looked at the girl and hen back at Maria and smirked. “If she knew how I really was, she’d pack her entire family up and run for the hills. Anyway she probably thinks you and I are a couple, and it’s best it stays that way.” Hughes blew some steam off his Chai tea and took a sip and shuddered. “Good shit,” He mumbled and took another drink.

Maria stared at Hughes until he could no longer ignore her. “Do I have a mole under my eye too?” He kidded, making her sneer at him.

“No, but you have a love jones for Major Mustang.” She smiled at him, knowing she had trumped him.

Hughes smiled back. “Touche’, pussycat. Something tells me you knew before tonight though. Either you have awesome Intel, or Roy and I have become careless.”

“Well I did find a used cum filled condom-”

WHAT?!!!” Hughes yelled, making the chubby waitress and a few other patrons jump.

Maria paled, not knowing whether to laugh or duck the flying knives. “Calm down, Maes. I was kidding.” She pushed the knife Hughes was holding against her throat away and relaxed herself. “I had found a picture of Roy in your desk eons ago when searching for a case file. From there I used my own observatory skills and-”

You were the one that ate my last Cadbury Egg. I guess I owe Lt. Hawkeye an apology then.” Hughes recalled in shame throwing sharp pencils at Riza and calling her a fat hyena because he thought she took his last egg. She hated being called fat (she had a hard time in basic training because she was a little overweight) and the hyena thing was adding insult to injury.

Maria blushed. “What can I say? Females love chocolate. And so do you. Which brings me back to you and Roy...who is seme and who is uke?” She grinned wickedly, making Hughes blush bright red. He crossed his legs and looked at Maria, shaking his head.

“Tiramisu has rum in it, doesn’t it, Salsalita?” He teased, trying to derail her.

Maria didn’t buy it. “Yep, and espresso, so I’ll be up all night! Spill and I’ll keep my mouth shut so you two can climb the military ladder without having any rungs kicked from underneath you.” Maria batted her eyes, making Hughes laugh.

“Ok, Chiquita, I’ll tell you the story. Or what I want you to know. Better yet, I’ll tell you what happened earlier today...”

~Dream Sequence with waves and calm music~

Roy sat at his small crowded desk, sifting through the paperwork Colonel Gran sent down to him. Roy honestly wanted to rip each hair of that idiot of a man’s mustache off, but hesitated only because it would make the man look better, and he didn’t want to waste his community service hours on Gran. Most of the time he could get Lt. Hawkeye to do his paperwork, but she was out on a state mandated rifle accuracy test and was out of the office all day.

Roy was hot, sticky, and irritable when he heard a knock on his door.

‘Fucking better not be Gran with another shitload of work!’

“Olly, olly, oxen-free!!!” A cheerful voice rang from the other side of the door. Roy’s face softened as he recognized the voice and smiled.

“Come on in, Maes!” Maes usually carried candy and hoped today was no exception. Maes walked into the small room, grimacing at the lack of space, light, air, ect. that his beloved friend was crammed into.

“It never ceases to amaze me how they actually found hell on Earth, put four walls around it, and then made your stupid ass agree to work in it!” Maes teased, making Roy impatient.

“I need tender vittles.” Roy stared broodingly at Maes’ pocket until a series of blue raspberry jolly ranchers were delivered upon his desk. As an added bonus, Maes handed him a small bottle of ice cold water. He smiled lovingly at Roy, who looked totally wasted from the massive amount of paperwork and the unforgiving heat and stuffiness of the room.

“So, were you staring at my pocket for the candy or were you staring at my crotch?” Roy nearly choked on the jolly rancher. He and Maes had broken up a few months ago due to ‘irreconcilable differences’ and now he was dating some skinny whore named Grace. Gracie. Greasy? Something like that. Maes had no right to kid with him like that.

Roy leaned back in his chair, eying his friend who was staring at him like a free steak. “If I was staring at your crotch, would it even matter?” Roy asked in a surprisingly even tone.

Hughes frowned and circled around the desk. “Give me my jolly back.” Roy placed the candy in between his teeth halfway out and bobbed it up and down, teasing Maes. When the man bent down to snatch it out, Roy pulled him into a heated kiss.

Roy drowned himself in the forbidden sensation of touching his close friend so intimately again, in his office, at work, with candy in his mouth. He never considered Hughes an ‘ex-”; that would mean that there was bitterness and rumors spread and vicious lies told and animosity. No, none of that existed. Hughes expressed want for a family, and didn’t want to go through the hassles of adoption. Surrogate mothers had the tendency to get psycho-mama and he didn’t want to experience that either. Hughes came to him one night and told him of Ginger or Guile or whatever her name was and that he wanted to be with her. Which was a lie. He wanted to be with Roy, but it was all good. Roy had known for awhile this was a long time coming.

Hughes closed his eyes and tasted his friend’s mouth, made even sweeter by the saccharin raspberry taste. He pulled away and chuckled. “Looks like we have blue mouth to go with our blue balls,” He whispered hoarsely into Roy’s ear. Then he licked the shell of the Flame alchemist’s ear and savored the visible tremors of Roy’s body. Moments, seconds, days, hours seemed to pass before they were both naked and sweating, more from their passion than from the heat, but not by much.

“Are you sure?” Roy looked at Hughes chastely, almost as if this was their first time.

“As sure as you have fifty stacks of paper work to do.” The reply was rushed as Hughes fumbled in his jacket pocket for lotion. Slipping his middle finger in the bottle first, he gently bent Roy over and began to explore the puckered asshole with two fingers. Roy moaned, not really caring that his own hardened length was oozing over Gran’s precious paper work. Oh well. If he wanted it jizz free, he would have did it himself.

Roy moaned again louder and sharply turned his head to the left when Hughes entered him fully with his ample dick, pushing all the way up to Roy’s prostate. Hughes knew the exact angles to hit, the perfect way to thrust, and refused to give Roy quick release. He teased his lover with short and shallow thrusts, leaving small sensual kisses on Roy’s back whenever he whined for more.

“Say it.” Hughes was biting on Roy’s back, hinting at what he wanted.

“Say it, Roy. Say my name,” Hughes soothingly coaxed again, this time pushing up against his prostate.

“Ungh! Maes!”

“Again. With more feeling.” Hughes grabbed Roy’s hips and pulled him down hard, making Roy spasm and knock his paper work over.

“Maes!”

“Tell me you want me.” Hughes thrust into Roy faster and with more intensity, grabbing hold of the man below him and stroking him off.

“I want you, Maes! So fucking bad, all the time I want you!” Roy always enjoyed being Maes’ bitch; mostly because it was always fun.

“Do you love me?” Roy could feel the hot breath on his back and he could hear the urgency in Maes’ voice.

“With all my heart.” Maes flopped Roy over so that Roy’s back was on his desk and he could watch Maes thrust into him. “I love you too, Roy...Oh....Uhhhhmmmm,” Maes moaned, closing his eyes and biting his bottom lip. He continued thrusting inside of Roy, egged on by the sounds of both of their moans. Hughes came searing hot into Roy as Roy shot all over Maes’ hand and over his own stomach.

Maes collapsed on top of Roy, breathing hard and covered in sweat. Roy lay there underneath, quiet and still, hoping that time could somehow stand still and they never have to move from that spot. Alas, time began again as Maes stood and gathered some moist cloths from a small cabinet in the office.

“Riza won’t mind us using her cleaning cloths, will she?” Hughes kidded, tossing a few at Roy. Reluctantly, Roy rose and began wiping himself off, unable to look Hughes in the eye. Hughes noticed his friend’s discomfort and wanted to console him, but he didn\'t want to lie to him either. He sighed and then walked up behind Roy and kissed the back of his neck before walking out and shutting the door quietly.

Maria sat gape-mouthed at Hughes. He smirked. “Don’t look so bewildered, Chalupa. It’s possible to screw at Central.”

A blush heated her face. “No shit. That story was so hot though! Wow. And you left that for a girl?” Maria clicked her tongue and shook her head. “Poor Roy. He probably thought that that was ya’ll’s last time together.”

It was.

Maria looked at Hughes and rolled her eyes. “You don’t have to try to convince me, because I already know that it’s a lie. You have to convince yourself. And when you’re done hiding from who you are, if you’re lucky, Roy will still have interest. If not, you can thank yourself for shredding up his love like parade confetti.”

Hughes opened his mouth to protest when the chubby waitress came over with a gold box with black string wrapped around it. “I noticed that you really liked the Tiramisu, and you guys are such a cute couple, so here.” She handed the gold box to Hughes and grinned widely. “Give this to your girlfriend,” she said and began to clear their dishes.

“What do we owe you?” Maria asked, pulling out her wallet.

“No charge for military personnel.”

The waitress gasped when Maria handed her a $50. “Keep it or apply it to our bill. Either way it’s yours.” She nodded toward Hughes, who was staring at the gold box. “Come on honey, and bring my Tiramisu.” She patted the waitress on the shoulder and walked back out onto the cobblestone sidewalk and breathed in the cold air.

“You heard the woman. Go give your girlfriend the Tiramisu.” Maria pushed Hughes toward the street and waved her hand.

“Thanks for the listen, Ross!” Hughes called as he walked away. Maria saluted and smiled. “Anytime, sir,” she said softly and turned toward her dorm at Central. \"Seme,\" she whispered to herself and then laughed, praying Maes would go to the right person tonight.

A loud knock startled Roy from dreamless sleep. Or as dreamless sleep could be when you were obsessed about someone.

“It better not be that faggot Archer,” he mumbled angrily, shoving on his black feathered bedroom shoes. Flinging open his door wide, he was surprised to see Maes standing there fidgeting with a strange box in his hand.

“A gift from the gods?” Roy quipped, the gold paper hurting his eyes.

Hughes met his glare. “Someone gave it to me and told me to give it to my girlfriend.”

Roy gave him a sad look. “Then why don’t you?”

Hughes laughed. “Silly rabbit. Tricks are for kids. I’m already at my girlfriend’s house, and with her favorite food.” Roy’s eye brightened as he opened the box and sighed.

“ Tiramisu, my Kryptonite. I guess you’ll be staying the night then, Maes.”

“I guess so, Roy.” He captured the ebony haired man in a heated kiss and closed the door to Roy’s apartment and on his and Gracia’s relationship.
